This was a replacement part for a chronic customer of mine, his bone stock HP came with a 285Watt supply that failed due to a fan failure, this has been the second customer of mine with the same failure so I wasn't much surprised due to the supplies pitiful 60-70mm fan. This supply came through in spades. This supply offers a huge 120mm fan that draws from the bottom and out through the rear and runs ridiculously quietly. I was however disappointed that this supply offers only one SATA power connector and the spacing was pitifully short (required an adapter to connect the HDD and optical). Would totally buy this again as a cheap replacement for a customer repair but likely wouldn't serve my needs.

hasn't failed, caught on fire, or blown up yet, my last Ultra lasted one year before failing so had to replace it, hopefully this one lasts longer, the "lifetime" series caught my eye, i smirked and just had to try it as my replacement, no problems so far, working perfectly, quiet and cool.

I bought this product never having replaced a power supply before, so I wasn't sure how difficult it would be. The installation was simple... I was up and running again in about 15 mins. It is VERY quiet and works great!!! I don't know about its longevity, but it's performance so far is excellent. Great value, easy to install, works great and runs quietly. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

Of all the Power supplies I've tried, (and I've tried a lot being a tech for 25yrs) the Ultra products were the ones I could rely on without trouble... until today. I ordered 2 and both were bad out of the box. And you can't tell me that you get what you pay for. I've had $100 Antecs with the same faults. A name brand means nothing anymore when they are fabricated like pet food. All coming from the same Chinese plant and slap a label on it. All electronic equipment went down hill since they are manufactured in China. When are we going to take a stand and bring jobs and manufacturing back to North America? Crap! It's ALL Crap!

I have been using this power supply for a month or so and am very pleased with it. I have had no problems with it and it is quiet, it also works great with a Linux OS.

Nice power supply. Quiet and stable so far. Pair it with a black box AMD and you're good to go.

Works great. Has all the connections you need. If you are puttin a mad GPU then you need a different PSU but for normal everyday comps this is great. It works for the comp I just built with 2 hdd's, 2 dvd burners, cpu 4 pin, and PCI-E GPU that requires extra power pin. GPU isn't amazing so it doesn't suck out a whole lot of power. But the PSU can support all these so seems pretty good.

Great power supply for the money. Has a huge fan underneath that doesn't usually come with a supply in this price range. It's quite heavy also compared to the 350W econo supply that this one replaced. Highly recommended.

Excellent power supply. Anyone looking for something extremely quiet that doesn't break the bank, this is it. I got this in a barebones kit and it is mega stable. I have two other high profile expensive quiet power supplies in other computers and this one rolls with the best of them

Got with a bare-bone kit, and love it. Its quite, and will really move air. It works quite well, and has not given me any issues. Ultra is notorious for durable products, and this is one of them. This was my first build that was actually mine (Built some for customers), and the families first AMD system, and I really like it. As always shipping was good, and Tiger Direct is awesome!
