Works for me
Comment:
This power supply let me upgrade my T6212's video card and CPU. There's connections for more drives if I need any. The price was good and the installation was kinda like replacing a car's cap and rotor: one wire at a time from old to new. The unit worked right away. It also has a very practical on/off switch. This is a good choice for an ATX tower upgrade.

Nice Bang For The Buck
Comment:
This power supply came as part of a barebones kit that I purchased. The power supply in and of itself seems to be good, and it is running quite well so far. It is also relatively quiet. It could be a better product if it had a longer 8 pin, 12V rail, as it was barely long enough to connect to the motherboard. This will only be an issue if you have a case in which the PSU goes in the bottom of the case. Unfortunately, the case that came with this PSU is designed for just that - for the PSU to go in the bottom. Now I have a 12V rail stretching directly across the mobo, taking away from appearance of all the nice copper piping on my mainboard. Actually, cable management would be a lot easier if all of the wires were longer. If you plan to show off your nice hardware with a clear side panel, I wouldn't use this in a case that requires a bottom-mounted PSU. But I guess I'm just being a perfectionist. All in all, it is still a great PSU.

More than enough power for 2 CD/DVD writers, 4 hard drives plus PCI cards. quiet and good price for a power supply.

Works Well but?
Comment:
As others have stated this power supply lacks SATA connectors. It really only has one usable one. If you buy this power supply plan on adding $8 for a y connector. The Ultra LS600 works well and is quite.

Ultra LS600 Lifetime Series 600W Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, PCI-Express
Comment:
Worked fine until I added a second hard drive. It just died then. It wasn't due to over powering since I replaced it with a Enermax Liberty 500 watts. I encourage you to put some more money on your PSU to avoid additional fees later.

Ultra LS600 Lifetime Series 600W Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, PCI-Express
Comment:
I am a little disappointed in the power supply LS600. This power supply has only 2 SATA connection on the same cable extended 2 inches apart. Once you connect one end to the motherboard, it will not reach the Hard disk or CD rom. I had to go to the local sore to buy converters. Just got it today so I cannot comment on quality, performance etc.

I bought my desktop PC a few years ago here on Tiger Direct. It was the Wintergreen Systems 2.1 GHz PC which came with Linspire 5. Since then, I have upgraded the memory from 256 MB to 1.5 GB, the HDD from a 40 GB HDD to a 160 GB HDD, the video from the built-in video hardware to a 256 MB nVidia card, and the OS to Windows Vista SP1 and Ubuntu 8.04. All of this put a strain on my old power supply and eventually my old power supply started getting very noisy. I would dare say it sounded like two gears grinding against each other. Vista and Ubuntu started crashing due to the PS. I ordered this new power supply a couple weeks ago, and everything works as it should. It was easy to install and had all the connections that I needed for my hardware. And best of all, the power supply is so quiet that I can barely tell it's running at all. Thanks TigerDirect and Ultra for saving my desktop!

Comment:
Amazing price on this product. The fan can warm up the processor a little bit because it blows into the case instead of out like a lot do however, this power supply hasn't caused me any problems and I think that it would be a great investment for anyone building a new computer seeing as it has everything needed to run a new computer.

Ultra LS600 Lifetime Series 600W Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, PCI-Express
Comment:
Used this in my very first build ever in December of 2008! Does the trick! Tons of Asus P5QL Pro mobo, 4 gigs SLI ddr2 6400 ram, Ultra LS600 psu, Thermaltake Wings Case, Lite-On Lightscribe drive, Intel q66000 cpu, and my old 7200 gs graphics card. Tiger ships fast as usual! Btw, like another reviewer said, this does have the 4 pin connector for the mobo eventhough the Tiger specs say that it doesn't. This thing was on sale for 34 bucks when I got it! Nice!
