I had a problem getting the DVD drive working on atapi with an adapter I bought. The cable plugged into the drive and into the SATA port on the motherboard and worked great.

Purchased these plugs with a barebone system and needed the 4-pin molex to 15-pin power adapter cable as the 15-pin power cables on New PS did not reach from the hard drive to DVD writer. Works well.

Like many people wanting to upgrade to SATA drives and components this was just the ticket to convert the output of your old molex power supply plug to the new style SATA pin configuration. Much cheaper than swapping out your power supply.

What a life saver. I bought this adapter to connect a new Sata 11 WD Black hard drive. My old pc works like new. Buy yourself extras because shipping is expensive.

The sata cable is of very poor material....looks fragile. The power adapter is much too short to be practical. But they do work!
