The cable is rather stiff, get a shorter one if you intend to travel with it. It suits my needs fine. My only gripe is with companies that sell eSATA dirves and don't provide any means to connect them in the retail box. That wouldn't be so bad if the cables were available in the local stores that sell external drives, they will gladly special order you one. I guess eSATA is just one of those gimmmics that isn't catching on.
