one of the best out there!
Comment:
This mid tower (actually alot bigger than normal mid tower) pc case has everything i wanted. Alot of space, good airflow, slide out MB tray, easy to disassemble, goood build quality, etc etc. For $149 after instant rebate (at the time of this review), it's a great value. Only potential problem with this case, I have little cracks starting to happen on the clear side pannel. I tried installing 80mm fan on to the side several times (I was trying to figure out which one i have is best fan to install and the direction of the fan), and after few installation, side has some cracks near the screw holes. Besides that, this is the best pc case i ever owned!!

Great Case

Case features are exactly as advertised. Well thought out and very easy to work with. Motherboard P6T Deluxe v2 and all other items easy to install. Fan leads for rear fan just a bit short.

Quality, Access & Performance
Comment:
A superb case, very well made, great access on all sides and top. Sliding tray and rear aperture big enough to assembly all the MB attached components outside of the case and then slide them in. Documentation not worth much, but a few reviews on the net show decent pictures to work things out. Front cover made of plastic that clips in, needs care to remove. Runs cool with so much space especially if you use a modular power supply matched with the built in power bar avoiding a lot of lengthy cables to hide. Paint finish inside and out is nicely done as are all the chromed pieces. Front fan power wires were a little too short for my MB so an extension was needed for that. Overall very impressed and will be useable for many years to come, definitely recommend.

spacious and very accessible
Comment:
This case is so spacious that it's like a 1970's eight-cylinder car - you can practically climb inside to work on everything. So no case is perfect, but I haven't found anything to complain about. If you've never put a computer together, this case might be a bit confusing, but it won't take long to figure it out. If you have built one before, you will find this one of the easiest cases to work with.

Great Case
Comment:
It seems easy to work with. It arrived quick and in 1pc. Great price-thnks! Read the instructions or go to Ultra's web or view Tiger's spec on this case. You will get more from it that the manual. I can say, you have to pull the front bezel off to install drives. Make sure you remove both side panels. Because you have to lift the tabs to remove the bezel. There is a lot of hardware that comes with this case-great! It comes with casters that can install underneath the case.It has a lot of room. great cooling with two front and rear 12omm fans. the black finish is beautiful. this case is solid mostly metal. just the side panel window and the front removable bezel is not metal. I think most anyone will like this case.

I think I mugged them
Comment:
Although someone needs to explain to Ultra that no one likes 50 page books to read through, one page of pictures only is hardly enough information to be considered a manual. That said, I wish I had bought 10. I happened to find it on sale for 100$ and at that price it was too hard to pass up. The unit is sturdy, came with enough screws for 3 machines, is so quiet I can't tell its on. I've had no issues with cooling, running the i7-920 at 40c under a noctua, the 260gtx oc, is sitting around 70c under load. and thats with the two stock fans plus the 2 on the noctua. My only other gripes is having a door for the front audio, and its difficult to get at and clean the front intake fan and its filter. The mesh over the pci-e I think should have been designed with the concept of adding a secondary intake instead of the rectangular shape which seems nothing more then aesthetic. I can actually see myself modding this case to add some extra filtered intakes...Anyway it was a steal at 100.

Ultra m998 Aluminum Mid-Tower ATX Case with Clear Side Front USB 2.0 FireWire eSATA and Audio Ports
Comment:
Case is big, but not to heavy, keeps things very cool, and plenty of room to work in. I have upgraded from an APEVIA X-Crusier. The temperature has dropped about 12 degrees Celcius. The power bar is great but didn't need it. Case is designed to hide cable and cable management for good air flow. PCI-X Videos that are big and long, no problem. Great to take apart and everything is removeable. As you've read the intructions aren't great, but easy enough to figure out. I have built over a hundred computers and this one is well built, roomie to work in, has good air flow and is one I will keep for quite sometime. By the way runs fairly quiet.

Ultra m998 Aluminum Mid-Tower ATX Case with Clear Side Front USB 2.0 FireWire eSATA and Audio Ports
Comment:
Based on the other reviews and the fact I was tired of fighting my old cases I bought the m998. It is certainly well finished and everything can be taken apart. It is a pleasure to work with. As many reviewers have said it is big. For me the nicest feature is that the motherboard tray slides in and out very easily making it easy to upgrade the mobo with little effort. The power bar feature is nice too, but to use it effectively you will have to use an Ultra power supply (more cost). There are no instructions on how to use the power bar. Follow the picture on this page. Top is input, bottom is output. Am I happy that I bought the case: yes though I think it is maybe $25 too expensive for what you get. On the other hand I bought an Ultra power supply with plug in connectors. As the ad says, not seeing a rats nest of wires in the case is priceless well.... at least worth the extra expense.

Comment:
When first setting out to but a case for my Rig I had no intentions on going with a mid size case due. After not finding what i wanted in my budget i chose to look at a mid size and found this product. I read many reviews of this case and one word appeared alot BIG and Good air flow. This was a great build the removable motherboad tray is great and the power bar build into the case i had no intentions of using but with all the 6 in lines to every drive no clutter or crossed cables. I have one issues with this and that is when you have a graphics card in it is hard to swap HDD in and out and removing the bay is out of the question with a large GC in a lower PCI-e slot. no need for a full tower here get this product is slimline HUGH.

To put it in one word, awesome! This case was a blast to build with. Perfect fit for large SLI video configurations and large cooling systems. I just built a system around this case with the follwing components: Ultra X3 1000W PS, EVGA 780i MOBO, dual BFG GTX 280 vid cards, OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2 and OCZ vendetta CPU cooler. Everything fit and cabled without issue.

I got tired of the noise and part-swapping inconvenience of my old case. I ordered this one mostly based on the ratings. I didn't care about LEDs, flambouyant colors, or other gimicks. It is the quietest case I have ever come across. If not for the panel lights, I wouldn't know the computer was on. The wiring harness, front eSATA, wheels, and ease of loading it up make it worth the price. I installed an Ultra 600W power supply. My husband was envious; we now have matching cases. He was equally impressed at the ease of installation. He has twice the stuff and a gigantic video card. We'll never buy bargain cases again.

This case is awesome! Air flow is superior, I maintain 22C at idle and 26C under load. The manual isn't much help. The case comes completely apart, making it very easy to work in. The power bar is nice for cable management, with all of the room in this case I was able to hide all cables very well. My only complaint is the usb ports on the front. It is very difficult to plug two usb devices in at the same time because the door gets in the way. I definitely recommend this case.

Ultra m998 Aluminum Mid-Tower ATX Case with Clear Side Front USB 2.0 FireWire eSATA and Audio Ports
Comment:
I read a LOT of reviews and when this case was $200 there were probably better deals to be had. If you are an LED junkie, there are probably better deals. At $120, if you want a sharp looking, understated, solidly constructed case with plenty of both room and quiet airflow to house your gear, this is it. This case is large. My wife says no, it's huge! That said there ARE some issues; a few thumbscrew holes are just off enough that an edge of the threaded hole is covered. If you are partial to screwless mounting look elsewhere. Neither of which earn the 4 in quality, that is for the non-functional front audio jack.

This is a great case. A little on the large side but its has space for everything includeing a large EVGA 9800 GTX plus. Literally everything can be taken off of this and it is still very stable. I did have a problem putting in my large cpu cooling fan when i was sliding in the motherboard tray, but it wasnt a big deal, a easy fix. The guide is completely useless u need a basic idea of how to put things together to work with case so no problem there.

What a case, people werent kidding when they said this thing was HUGE for a midcase. It definitely lives up to its reputation. -Plenty of Space -Great air flow -Very sturdy -Holds just about everything I didnt use the power bar as i dont have a whole lot in my system at the moment, but i can see how it will come in handy when i start adding more things into the case. Before i didnt install the wheels that it comes with, but recently moving and no longer having a huge desk to set this on, the wheels come in hand to have it set on the carpet so that the intake fan isnt kissing the floor. Id recommend this case to anyone, it may be on the expensive side but you wont have to worry about getting a bigger case when you upgrade cause im sure it will all fit in this thing.

PROS:---If you're looking for a case with a simple, modern design, PLENTY of room, more than adequate ventilation, one of a kind features (Power Bar, IT ROCKS), and overall ease of use, look no further and go click that little button that says ''Add To Cart''. Seriously, this is a great case. Comes with a set of wheels that you can attach to the bottom CONS:---I have only one minor qualm. First, the instruction manual blows. It's 25 little pictures. Doesn't even tell you the contents of the box(ie. screws, wires...).

Comment:
I purchased this case several weeks back, and have finally completed my new build. The room and ease of installing the motherboard, and peripherals is incredible. I'm very happy with this case. It exceeded my expectations. As others mentioned, the power strip is not needed if you have a module power supply. I also have an ultra module 600-watt power supply that I purchased separately, and it fits perfectly. Finally, I gave the quality a 4 b/c the front panel is plastic, and kind of flimsy. I'm always afraid that the clips will snap. Ultra Co., focus on the front panel, and craftmanship, this case will be a solid case. Thanks Ultra.

Best case i've used yet. Tons of room. Made an immediate 5 degree difference in all my temps !!. Use and love the power bar. Keeps the case looking clean and provides great air flow. The sliding motherboard tray makes installation a snap , but must agree that after cableing its not so easy to remove. Overall a great, sturdy, roomy case. Excellent buy. Thank you Tiger

If you need a case with PLENTY of room and great cooling then this is your case. This thing is BIG, sturdy, and looks awesome. The case has sleek looks and a big side panel window for showing off your hardware. Pros: Sleek looks, power distibution panel, quality construction, big side window, removeable MB tray, great cooling, plenty of room inside. Cons: This case is very big and very heavy which may be a turn off to some people. I also thought the case was a bit expensive. The Tiger Direct specs list the bezel as aluminum but it's plastic.
