VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:Maybe price, but you get what you pay for.
Pros:Works flawlessly.Certified for 8X.Burnable at 10X.NOT silver tops. I hate those.Cakebox is always nice. Comment:
This cakebox of DVDs is an excellent buy. I bought them along with a Pioneer DVR-212D to burn them with, and so far they've worked perfectly together. And, I was able to burn them at 10X speeds!I burned 8132MB on one of them, and the burning process took 14 minutes or so. My computer is pretty old, so when I attempted to use OpenOffice.org Calc while waiting, the computer got pretty choppy. Even with some moments when I thought I could have screwed it up, it burned just fine. This review was modfied by poster y 04-19-08 03:23 AM This review was modfied by poster @ 04-19-08 03:08 AM |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:These are pretty much the only discs i use and i use a few hundred every month. I have pioneer burners and they have a less than 1 failure rate with these discs on my system. Not sure why other reviewer think they are so bad, maybe a firmware issue with there burners.

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:Kinda pricey, I paid $40, then the next week it was $20
Pros:Good quality, no bad burns Comment:
Great Product, haven't had any problems. I'll be buying more soon. I guess if you compare when new technology comes out, there is always a cost, and then mass production reduces the cost. Thanks for looking. |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:- Still on the expensive side despite boxing day sale price
Pros:- Very high grade media Comment:
I got these on Boxing Day 2007, and I'm pretty happy with them. I had a ton of really large stuff to burn, and am glad I have much more space on one of my drives now. Although I wish I had gotten more since 15 just isn't enough. |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:Regular Price
Pros:Verbatim QualitySale Price8X Burning Speed Comment:
Got 2 spindles of these on the Boxing Day $20 per sale. They burn as well as the 2.4X Verbatims I've used in the past, with the added bonus of being rated at 8X. For some reason I don't get burns that are good as they should be for Verbatim made in Singapore DL discs, very high PIE and the PIFs are pretty numerous (although the spikes don't go above 8 usually). I think it may have more to do with something funky on my computer but I can't say for sure. This doesn't detract from the fact that these are simply the best DL blank media available right now to us consumers =). |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:on the pricey side, but I figured it's worth it for the quality.
Pros:Rated up to 8X for DL burning.Quality for these is considered excellent Comment:
Works like a charm in my Pioneer DVDRW. For those who are interested, the ones I got are made in Singapore and have the Times New Roman font on the top. |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:too expensive for the regular price.
Pros:cheap on sale, 8.5GB, good quality, cakebox. Comment:
I bought it on the boxing day sale, which is only 20 dollars, I think it worth it because more games and movies are made with D9 disk. If you want to copy it, you need this one. |

VERBATIM VERBATIM DVD+R DL 8.5GB 8X BRANDED
Cons:none yet
Pros:best DLspeed Comment:
Ive had no problems with these, they are a bit more expensive then the slower burning DVD-DL 2.4x. So if you can get these on sale go for it. |
I bought these for movie backup purpose and I must say I'm impress with the quality. Before I bought those, I had Memorex DVD-DL and I had a lot of problem with compatibility. After searching a bit on the net and hearing about the greatness of Verbatim I gave it a go, and wow! , every problem disappear !really recommended !
