I hooked up two of these monitors to a new SYX Ascent A790 computer and they ran perfectly instantly. Talk about plug and play. The only drawback is no HDMI port.

No complaints here. Gaming is fine. I'm running dual's and love em. Colors are good. I would recommend this product. The only small complaint I have is the LED power light is dead center of the bottom bezel and it seems annoyingly bright. but i've gotten used to it. at 1st I put a small square piece of sticky note on it which worked if it stayed put. :)

Great price on a monitor that is nicely designed and well finished. Super-easy setup, very clean picture, with zero problems so far, one month in. The 5ms reset rate causes noticeable trailing and fuzziness in fast gaming situations, but images are extremely crisp for office and internet use. The built-in speakers should be used only as a last resort. I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

The image quality is very good and works well at displaying two programs at once with the Windows 7 screen feature. As others have said the speakers are pretty weak with very poor sound quality.

I was looking for a larger monitor to replace my older 17'' ViewSonic. This guy fit the program perfrectly. Quality control at ViewSonic is tops in my opinion and this monitor is in keeping with that experience. Pros- Just plug it in and it works. Since I had a ViewSonic monitor already the existing drivers worked. No need to load new drivers. Great color no dead pixels. Cons- The built in speakers were quite humorous. Good for basic beeps and thats about it. Don't buy this monitor if you are looking for a great sound system. This was not a downer IMO since I already have good speakers. The blue power LED on the bottom of the frame is way too bright. Small piece of black electrical tape to cover up 80% of the LED solves that. All in all ViewSonic makes a good reliable monitor and this model fits in with that tradition.

I use this monitor for business, and to play games. It does well on all my apps, including photos. If you are looking for a good speaker system, keep looking. The speakers in this monitor are what I would consider the normal, tinny, low-quality speakers that most monitors have. Since I do not use the speakers, it does not bother me. Good value for the money.

Monitor is working great. Very bright picture, clarity and resolution are excellent. Monitor was at my door in 4 days. Only possible con to the product is the fact it did not come with a DVI cable, only a VGA.

This monitor is pretty nice for the price. (150ish) However you should really know about the blinding blue light of death that sits square in the bottom middle of the panel. I seriously think you'll go cross eyed if you don't cover it up. (dont use tape just cut a small piece of black cardboard to fit snug inbetween the buttons and the blue light of death. Mine arrived with 1 dead pixel which is disappointing but i'll survive as long as the blue light remains covered.

The picture is sharp and clean, really the only downside to this monitor is the blue light at the bottom that practically blinds you while the monitor is on. Still considering whether or not to put some electric tape over it... When it reaches the $140 mark it will be an amazing buy.

I reviewed this monitor for some time and finally decided to purchase. WOW, really nice. NO DVI cable with it, so you will need one. It took 2 times to order it, as it was returned the first time for some unknown reason, but glad I reordered. This monitor also is stable with a solid stand and nice tilting feature. Definitely recommend!

Monitor arrived with no shipping damage. Best of all no dead pixels. Still adjusting color, brightness, contrast, etc. Have brightness turned down lower than old monitor. I think some of the unusually high brightness has to do with the larger area of the monitor. Movies look really good. No issues with video for my games. I would recommend this monitor.

Nice big screen for computer work, but forget about watching a movie on it because there is an annoying blue light at the bottom of the frame. I finally covered the light with some black electrical tape, because I could not enjoy the movie with it glaring in my eyes. With that taken care of, the monitor works fine. But who buys a screen like this without multimedia in mind?!

I bought this monitor for my brother as he still had a old CRT antique. Having had to use his computer for email and surfing when visiting, I could take it no longer and bought this for him. He was surprised at all of the features and the light weight combined with low power was a plus. I think that I will get one as a replacement for my system as well.

The screen is great. It wide rather than tall. speakers are very small but I was looking for a screen not a speaker system. Great value for the price !! Would recommend 100%
