Wired Fight Pad for Wii U - Mario

I bought this for the kids to be able to play Super Smash Brothers for the Wii U. They hate the native game pad for it and after much research, it seemed this controller was the best choice for the game.The controller was a hit! They instantly loved it. It fits much better in their hands then even the Wii U pro controller. They had no problems setting it up and it worked very well.The only downfall is that for some reason, you need to plug this into an older Wii remote (that does not come with the Wii U) The controller states that it is a "wired controller". That is only half correct as the "wire" does not actually connect to the Wii U (or original Wii for that matter)Overall, it's a minor nuisance and certainly doesn't seem to bother the kids. It's a great controller and the fact you can get it in several major Nintendo character themes is great.
