XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish Computer Case
Comment:
XCLIO seems to produce unique versions. This is what I received 7񳏊.+ Sturdy case. Decent layout. A lot of room for components and wire routing.+ Nice blue lighting from the fans. Big, quiet fans have individual on/off and speed controls with blue LED indicators. Powered by single HDD connector (no speed sensor). Options for extra 120mm fans front and back, although strategically-placed venting really should provide superior cooling with no them.+ Integrated adapter bracket makes it possible for mounting the energy provide upside-down. + Stability feet can be removed, but they do provide excellent stability even with out extending them. + Hidden magnetic latches in two areas on front door panel. + Thumbscrews for both side panels. - I'm not a fan of drive rails since I tend to shed them over time, but it does come with drive trays for the HDDs. The FDD rails use pins for the back two holes of a FDD, so short internal three.five" cardreaders might only be held by one particular pin on each side. - PCI card retention bar isn't high good quality, but it functions and is removable if required. Regardless, it has 6-32 threaded holes for correct mounting of PCI cards. - Front door closes flush against bays, so any devices ought to mount flush or be recessed. Door interior is non-removable AFAIK. Door has HDD connector for logo LEDs.- Temperature display: yes, not integrated (indicated as "optional element" on the box), but much more importantly Google turned up Nothing at all that could be installed in the nonetheless-existing mounting holes. sales@, info@, and support@ xclio.com auto-re'd with "Your message could not be delivered. The User is out of space. Please attempt to send your message once again at a later time." Their site is extremely quite although. # Except for test-fitting a HDD and a cardreader, I haven't done something with the case besides going over it with a QC mindset and powering up the fans and LEDs. It does reside up to the expectations with extremely handful of bonuses and minimal drawbacks. # This isn't like the gigantic full tower cases from a decade ago, so don't let the "full tower" title put you off: 21.five" tall x 22" deep isn't negative.# I would like to see a case where you can reverse the door depending on your placement. This one particular opens to the left. Likewise, I would choose the USB/Audio/etc mounted in center, instead of on the proper side.# Addendum in integrated manual shows replacement of accessories box with accessories bag and HDD trays replacing HDD rails.# Newegg kudos for fast delivery, but for a Prez Jackson I'd hope so. # I'll give UPS a thumbs-up too for not denting, stabbing, crushing, etc like it does with quite a few packages (I work close to our business loading dock).

XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish Computer Case
Comment:
I got this case earlier this afternoon. So far, I adore it. There's alot a lot more room than my previous case (Apevia X-plorer), It looks far better, Runs quieter. Tool=-less assembly. It's very a bit bigger than my previous case. This is my initial time working with a complete tower case, Not really a con but.. Wasn't expecting it to be this major. As I said above, it's not genuinely a con, but I wasn't expecting it to be so major. I'm going to have to change my area up a bit. Also, wasn't expecting it to be as heavy as it is. Good customer service, rapid shipping.

Fantastic searching. Sleek. Love the blue LED fans. Newegg customer service. Arrived with a huge dent along the leading on 1 side. I was going to attempt and "live with" the defect, but I couldn't do it. I do comprehend that this was not at the fault of newegg.

Incredibly huge case, good screwless style for HDDs and Optical Drives, Very excellent air flow Weighs about half a ton, but functions wonderful. There is plenty of room for even the largest video cards. Make confident that you have long SATA cables, though. Almost everything is so spread out, I had to use a seriously long cable to reach from the DVD drive down to the SATA ports on the motherboard.

Solid metal caseLabelled front panel mobo connectorsVery good airflow and general cooling from huge fans, extremely quietIndividual fan on/off switches The fans do not last. (See beneath)Tooless program causes additional troubles than they solve (See beneath)Fan speed manage useless. Extremely tricky to tell any distinction in spin speed -Had 1 fan stop spinning 5 months in-Other fan began randomly clipping the plastic housing after 9 months-Each fans prior to failing were unbalanced. You can tell when they had been spinning it brought on the side panel to vibrate (Probably ultimate trigger of failures).-Toolless back panel clip bends to hold onto stuff. Does not securely hold a Radeon 5870-Toolless hdd location arranges drives in such a way that you have to use right angle power and ide/sata connectors in order to not expose them to the fans. -Had to clip hdd holder plastic to permit space to actually insert cables. It has pluses and minuses. Failures in toolless method can be dealt with if you have the time/resourcefulness to deal with it.The fan failures really should not be happening with a case of this price tag and focused on 2 250mm fans. Having to replace them much less than a year following acquire is not a superior sign.

* I have the older model of this caseƦ large 250mm fans with speed and on/off buttons for each and every on side panel wth nice blue LEDs , Incredibly silent and extremely powerfull, 200mm blue LED Fan on leading and a 120mm exhaust fan, this is not significantly of a con rather than a alter in their product but when i purchased my windtuneel it came with a 200mm top fan and a 120mm exhast fan, also the exahst fan died right after 6months and the powerbutton began to get stuck in when u push it Ive had it for a year now. its a good case all in all, be sure to contanct their client suppor if the case has any problems I was just too lazy and ignore the powerbutton and now it gets anoying at times but at the end Im really pleased about this case. make positive to purchase a 120mm Case fan and install it for the exhast for the new ones do no come with it.

Comment:
Significant case with wonderful air flow. Comes with two significant fans and space for two additonal 120 fans on front and back. Solid feel and construction. A lot of bays and new tray for 3.5 in drives are excellent. Weight but it is a full tower and construction is solid so you ought to expect it. Be cautious with the front cover pins as they really feel fragile and if you add extra front fan will need to get rid of to install. 1st case was delivered damaged as all pins on the front cover had been broken. RMA was swift and painless had a new case in great condition in about week and a half.

*Very significant*Front of case has a door (hides those odd colored disk drives if you have them.)*Two huge fans on side add additional air flow if necessary.*Great cost for it's size*Lights on fans appear excellent*Feels sturdy *Very massive and heavy when totally stocked*Fans on side suck in rather of blowing out*Lights on fans can't be turned off without turning off the fans*Fans get loud on their max speed Have had this case for almost a year and a half and i do love it's size and additional fans. It's size it's greatest asset, i have a good sized energy supply unit (looks smaller in this case) and it's cords are wrapped in a sort of mesh tube and are fairly stiff. So in smaller instances it was difficult to fit all the cords inside. This had plenty of space for them. Way much more space for upgrading than i will ever need to have. It was my very first and so far only build i have done and it was incredibly uncomplicated to function with.

XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish Computer Case
Comment:
I enjoy this case, the two big fans to a excellent job of keeping the air circulating and the case is significant sufficient to accommodate even my evga 470 card. I really like the docking bays for the tough drives. and the rails they come with it to slide in and out your other drives. The great portion is a smaller paper furnace filter fits suitable on the front of the fans perfectly. cleans all the air just before it hit the inside of the case and does not impact the flow. The front door could be a little much more accommodating, but it is a very minor factor, since I took the door off mine anyway. it is a extremely big case, but it truly is a really properly built, sturdy and a user setup style.

massive. two massive good fans. in fact cools about 6-7*C. hardrives are straightforward to install, all installed well. very nice appear. and inexpensive, i got for 90$ total =]. ok so there are rather a couple of issues that i would have liked in this case. mobo tray is attached to the case. no cable management holes as far as i am conscious, u cant turn of the leds without having generating the fans stop, NO CELCIUS READING. ITS ALL A LIE.. all i have is the X logo on the top that i had to connect with a 4 pin molex to psu.. the front of the case came scratched up, but thats not the end of the world. idk if this is the case or not, the screw doesnt hold the video card in place. it does, but its slightly crooked on the opposite end. the video card is not absolutely straight. this thing is rediculously heavy. and everytime u pick it up it sounds like several grains of rice tipping frm one side to yet another. the usb and firewire ports would have been nicer on the front of the case, not the side. Price, but it's merely no frills plastic and aluminum. Product does not match the box image. No temperature sensor. The closure mechanism on the PCI slot region is garbage and wont close over most video cards, i had to rip it out and screw stuff in so my video card would remain seated (GTX470). Also no rear/front/top fans...why? This is the second windtunnel I have purchased and I really feel misled. It's not the same item. It should be known as the Windtunnel mark two or some thing. The box even shows it getting a temp readout! The pic on newegg shows the temp readout as nicely so it's extremely deceptive. I dont like paying the very same price for much less stuff, XCLIO, I was a believer of the original, but I will never ever purchase XCLIO once again.

Spacious - Solid design - Tough drive mounting Ive put together several PC's for different people Gamers, Students and Parents alike... Even if the cost was doubled this case is worth every single penny the fans give outstanding cooling and the speed control is quickly accessible for any scenario... The Hard dive mounting brackets are awesome easily add or get rid of hard drives with the pinch of two fingers.. If you're an avid gamer with shallow pockets and want some thing to flaunt to the pals this guy is for you!! Some may say this case is to big, but my response to that is Why are you getting a FULL TOWER then.. Go for a mid tower this con is now chalked up as a PRO ! Ive attempted quite a few various instances and love the XCLIO Windtunnel and keep in mind if your attempting to fit this thing in a Walmart sort desk DONT DO IT , it won't fit ; )

lots of room inside so heat dissipates speedily. Tool-much less design works wonderful. Tough drive bays face the side of case, creating simple access to HDs & leaving plenty of room for video cards. The two big side fans are quite very. This case looks great, each 1 who sees it pull out there phone to take a pict. Also some folks have said it has inexpensive legs or feet - This is a massive and some-what heavy case - if you fold the feet in before tipping it on it`s side you will not harm the feet. I payed 109.99 for this case. Energy button can be a little sticky at times.Really small room in between challenging drives and side fans - So be cautious mainly because cables for HD`s can interfere with fan. But now that you know this it need to not be a difficulty. This is a wonderful purchase at 79.99!! I`m going to purchase a different 1 at this cost, if they do not sell out prior to my check comes. So please try to buy just 1 :)

The case looks cool and allows worry of space to not be an issue. It comes with two side massive fans that seem to give off a considerable amount of air flow. The lcd temp gauge on the front does not work. The 2 side fans on full blast are not that excellent and Im beginning to smell a mild burning smell when they are on full blast. The fans also are affordable and poorly made. I dont see those side fans lasting incredibly lengthy and Im upset that the lcd temp gauge doesnt work trigger that was the principal reason I purchased it. I would not Recommend THIS Item to Anybody!

This case was amazing when I initial got it. the controllable fans had been good But now one of the fans seems to be off balance so it jiggles a lot more than a bowl of jello, the other seems to have managed to stick itself into place so it doesn't even work anymore. I'm just going to swap out fans but this is a quite massive annoyance :\ This is only three months into purchasing it.

Big, huge fans, a lot of space Large I had ordered this, and read that it was large. But I was wrong, it was Large. And it came damaged, oh nicely, those factors take place. Newegg RMAd it pretty quickly, and I eventually got the Antec 900 simply because it is smaller. The fans absolutely maintain the case cool... My temp readings even though playing high video games such as Arkum Asylum my processor and video card remain in 100 degrees or lower. The fans sieze up and scrap the casing. I had to shave the blade suggestions to stop the scraping and now the fans when starting you laptop or computer have a difficult time finding to spin. I have to constantly clean them which is regular but they still have a difficult time to get moving.

You can park about 3 vehicles inside this factor. Hah. It's not excessive, but there's no way anybody could want more space. Comes with 6 HDD trays for very easily installing and removing. Visually stunning. Great airflow. Really skilled item. Frame in the back is a little warped. I almost broke my video card trying to figure out why it wasn't seating right... Turns out the frame's a little warped. I believe popping a couple of rivets and giving it the hammer will fix it although, no eggs removed.

cools and keeps it cool. I have 6 HD's running all 2Tbs and typical temp is 25 to 28C thats with the sensor on the middle of the HD frame. Purchased this for the room and capability to keep cool. everything notso compressed assists also in cooling and accessiblity Watch out the fans could quit on you I have had it for almost a year and i blow mine clean each and every other month but do not let the air move the fan and 10 days prior to a year is up and one fan dies I'm going to attempt to get it replaced from newegg but almost certainly wont be successful

XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish Computer Case
Comment:
This case is seriously fairly huge, and the fans are quite impressive to appear at (see cons, although). There are a lot of expansion slots, despite the fact that you could want to check that your graphics cards will still fit: A 2nd 2-slot wide card may not have enough room, and I don't think this case would have an effortless time with three-way SLI (or Xfire if you prefer). With my Asus P6X58D-E motherboard the initially expansion slot is inaccessible, the 2nd is used by a low bandwidth lane, then my graphics card begins on the 3rd. Just about every metal piece is nicely made and seems solid. Also, the fans run almost silent (by my generous standards) at full energy. The huge size makes it possible for them to move a lot of air with low blade speed. Initially, the shipping. Strictly speaking the box protected the case, so I can't complain too significantly, but the case was shipped directly in the (huge!!) retail box.Second, the plastic pieces really seem flimsy. It's not terrible, but it's not a sign of high good quality. You get what you pay for, I guess. The huge thing, though, is the two enormous fans. A couple months soon after having this case each fans were dead. This would not be a big deal for smaller 120mm fans, as you can buy those all day long for only about บ-15 and get excellent top quality--they're practically disposable, but for the monstrous 250mm fans you'll have to shell out some significant coin to replace them. It is worth note that those few months had been running non-quit 24ǝ, full energy, in a slightly dusty environment.A final smaller irk is that while the fans were working they emit a Very bright blue glow. This looks cool for the 1st couple of minutes, but I leave this pc on 24ǝ in the room exactly where I sleep. If you are looking at this case, go get a ruler or a tape measure or one thing and appear at just how huge 250mm is. Now double that. This is the quantity of fan you are considering. It is a LOT, and the performance shows it.

Roomy, solid develop. Great airflow without having alot of vents/mesh. Has held up for me for about a year and half.Price is spot on, if you want a functional full tower for a very good price this is it.The deminsions listed may well be a bit misleading in the width departement (which is what matters) but the 250mm fans are housed on the exterior of the case 'prime'; meaning you've still got room to stick in a major ol Hyper 212 + if you so select. Xclio (I'm of a mind to say I got lucky with mind having poor experience with other Xclio situations)It's a massive box without any really cable management oppurtunities outside of the PS rail. The fans will ultimately fail, and will need replacing by what is near a propritary fan, these things aren't uncomplicated to come across and they're expensive. You get what you pay for, this case is actually a wonderful deal. It's barebones and big, tool-less, excellent cooling and lots of space. You'll be happy with it, until 1 fo those two fans go out.Room for expansion in the fans department too, they can't be bothered to incorporate a front or rear fan, I'd obtain at least a rear.
