Pros:cools well and is quietadjustable fan speedcools nearby components
Comment:
This great heatsink has cooled my cpu for 6 months with no problems. It does not boast the best cooling, but it certainly is very quiet. Although I would not necessarely recommend it, since there are some newer and better heatsinks out there, you are not making a mistake if you indeed choose to go with this one.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:Really... big... like REALLY big...

Pros:QuietEffective Cooling
Comment:
It'd be better if they made like.. a gold or platinum version in my personal opinion... eitherway, copper is still cool. but yeah, as i said in "weaknesses" this thing is so damn big. However, it works very well and cools fairly decent; that's really all i can say about it since it is just a heatsink.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:none

Pros:Great cooling fan, very low noise, easy installation
Comment:
I was a little overwhelmed with the size at first but it fit fine on my DFI lanparty ultra-D. It blocks the 4x PCIe port. No other conflicts. The heatsink is so large my fan only spins 50% of the time with an AMD 64 3200+. Great Buy.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:Heavy - 918g (just over 2lbs!Not a tool-less design (if u were building a tool-less setup)Included fan controller is not practical to install (I just dont use it)

Pros:Very quiet.Awesome looking.Amazing cooling! Keeps my A64 3400 (s754)
Comment:
Using this on my 3400 s754, my temps have never gone over 45c under load - although I havent overclocked yet. Those are good temps considering it resides in a Sonata case (not known for being the coolest)The supplied backing plate is a must to prevent a cracked mobo. My only real gripe was that I had to remove the plastic riser that surrounds the CPU on my DFI mobo which is UV reactive (to match all the UV stuff and cables). I don't care about UV lighting (or modding in general)but that may matter to some. Overall, amazing performance.

Cons:heavy

Pros:low tempsspeed controllercopper
Comment:
this is a great heat sink. i'm currently using it on my P4c 3.0 and its overclocked to 3.3ghz and still sits a nice 35C. the fanmate is a pretty good idea also, this way you can slow it down at night for lower noise.only possible negative is that its very heavy. Highly recomended if you arent moving your PC alot.

Great cooling for very quiet, it is however quite heavy and HUGE , so when transporting your cpu you want ot have it on the side so it doesn't warp your board!

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:-Performance against other HSFs on the market?-Size!

Pros:-Price-Looks perty!-Fan controller
Comment:
I decided to go with this heatsink over the XP120 for my O/Cing rig. The problem was this would allow me to use my RAM in dual channel mode while the XP120 would not.The CNPS7700CU looks nice that's for sure, and the cost compared to other HSFs makes it the best bang for your buck HSF for o/cing a S939 setup. The XP120 isn't far behind, but in order for it to perform decently or even above the CNPS7700CU, you need an expensive/loud fan. The Zalman heatsink provides great cooling at a cheap price (with the fan included) and can also give you a quiet PC with the fanmate included.I give the Zalman CNPS7700CU a 4/5 stars. It is outperformed by a few HSFs out there right now, plus Zalman's new heatsink (the 9000 series) is coming real soon so you may want to consider that if you can afford it.

Pros:Exceptional cooling for a HS/fan. Ultra quiet. Not overly pricey.

This is my second purchase of this HS/fan. Provided you have the space it's a great investment. Well built and good heat disapation. Good instructions too.

Cons:Price

Pros:QuietSpeed Control120MM fan
Comment:
My p4 3.06e was idling at around 42C with the stock heatsink, and reaching up to 50C under load. Thinking to lower my system temperature, I bought this heatsink. I've read a lot of great reviews for this thing, but oddly enough it hasn't affected my system temperature at all. I'm fairly certain it's my PSU causing all the heat, but my CPU temperatures themselves are exactley the same.I'm going to overhaul the system, and use some arcticsilver on it instead of the stuff it came with. I had hoped to lower the idle temperature to around 32C, and hopefully eliminating the heat from above will do this.Note: My motherboard was one of the "unsupported" ones (Abit AV8 3rd-eye) because the northbridge heatsink was too tall. All I had to do was remove the northbridge fan and it fit perfectly. Saved myself $20 or so from having to buy another "fanless" northbridge heatsink that would work with the 7700.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:Heavy, (made of solid copper) and can be quite hard to mount.Quite on the expensive side, but worth it.

Pros:Incredible airflow for a low rpm fancools the north bridge, video card, and ram as well in a cyclone effect. Very stong cpu cooler
Comment:
Excellent cooler, and for the price I would say you definately get your money's worth. I went from a stock cpu cooler for the 3.2E that idled at 60 C to 36 C and a max sustained load of over 75-77 C to 49-50 C max.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:size might be too big for some mobos, weight (risk of falling off processor)

Pros:Fully copper, nice lapping job, fanmate (controls fan speed) is useful, even though the large size still fits nicely on my dfi sli mobo, 120mm fan is quiet yet effective, cooling?
Comment:
I recieved this product in the mail a few days back along with the other components for the pc I am building. The first thing I relized when I took it out of the package was how large and heavy this thing was. When I installed it I made sure to screw everything I could down tightly. I got my pc up and running (all I have to do is configure the BIOS) and this thing works great, the quiet mode you can hardly hear.I dont have any way to measure the temps, but this combined with AS 5 I'am pretty sure will keep my athlon 64 proccesor cool when I get around to overclocking it.

Cons:Very heavey. Lose memory slot access with some boards.

Pros:Very! quiet. Cool looking. Solid installation kit.
Comment:
This is an excelent heat sink. This is built for o/c. Very quiet and works perfectly with the temp control on my ABIT board. The down side is the loss of access to memory slots with some boards. The installation kit is excellent. I really like the use of screws instead of clips to connect it to the mobo. Best of all it looks awesome!

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:-Might not fit all motherboards/cases due to size

Pros:-Very quiet with built-in adjustable speed 120mm fan-Cools surrounding area around CPU (Ram, Mosfets, etc.)-Use Arctic silver 5 or Ceramique for better performance-Works with a variety of motherboard sockets without needing to buy extra parts
Comment:
Combined with an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and an overclocked AMD 64 3200+ Winchester (s939), this keeps the CPU to a cool 24-25°C degrees and 44-45°C under sustained heavy load (Prime95 for 8+ hours) with the case closed! It is rather heavy since it is solid copper, so it is important to use the backplate. A nice touch is that the product comes with double-sided tape to mount the included fan controller.

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan
Cons:Nothing I can think of......

Pros:Excellent cooling job, adjustable rpms (fan), very quiet, solid copper.
Comment:
Best bang for your buck. I bought this for $60 1 day ago and wow, its sweet. My Athlon64 3000+ (S939) is running at 29'C right now. I have flashed to the latest 1003 bios for my A8N SLI Deluxe. It seems the CPU runs cooler than the chipset when idling and not doing anything intensive. But when playing games or over-clocking, then the CPU runs hotter than the chipset.I've read the same results from many other A8N SLI Deluxe owners. Seems to be normal.......I hope!?
