Fascinating new shape for a mouse, its works. I have some wrist troubles and it alterations the motion/posture for my wrist so that is nice. The trigger buttons function nicely - just need to have to train my brain where the buttons are. Software loaded successfully in Windows 7, 64 bit. Cord comes out of the front of the mouse on the suitable side. For me, that appears to get in my way of moving the mouse. But that could be my work area. The mouse appears longer than it has to be - not positive what they had been thinking. Not definitely a con, just not the way I would style this mouse. If you like a classic mouse, this would not be your cup of tea. I got a great price, had to try it - I will use it more and far more to see how I like it.

The cost was excellent at ฤ. Tweaking the DPI settings is definitely handy. I have little hands so it fits perfectly but I can see how it could be a difficulty with massive hands. I believe possibly some men and women anticipate it to fit their hands like a joystick and that isn't what this is designed to be. I also have a cordless logitech gaming mouse and I have them both installed and operating flawlessly. This is handy because when I actually start off screwing up, I can just blame the mouse and switch to the other one with no getting to exit the game. As other people have stated, the programability is really limited. This is simply curtailed if your game has control choices and you just change these options in the game. I copy and paste a lot and it would be definitely handy to be able to program the thumb buttons to do this but the solution is not there and that is why I gave it four eggs rather of 5. From time to time the cord coming out of the front gets caught on something (generally the junk on my desk which is my fault) and hinders movement so a lot of clearance is required. This is a enjoyable mouse but I believe it is destined to be a dust gathering sidekick to my joystick. I genuinely didn't have any dilemma at all installing it on my Vista machine but I did go to the Zalman website and downloaded the most recent firmware and drivers rather than installing from the disk. I also want to add that Newegg rocks on shipping as always!

-DPI switching on the fly. -Excellent trigger position. - Bad "Left" button< got squicky right after a week playing, gets stuck in a pressed position from time to time.-The "rubber" fake leather covers fell off after a month.-The weight (fixed inside the back portion) unglued, now is rolling inside.-Pixel skipping Sad that I threw the box away, That would be a return.

Special thought, functions well, extremely ergonomic. Too tiny to appropriately fit a grown man's hand! Also feels too lightweight. The gun mouse is a neat concept that fails in it's execution. For 1 thing it's more like pushing a shoe about than utilizing a gun. My friends and I who tried it all felt it was way too smaller and lightweight. Fingers don't fit comfortably, feels a little awkward and is truly a lot more of a "shoe mouse" than a gun mouse. Now, I don't expect them to really replicate a gun but I feel they could have come way closer than they did. Still a very good mouse, and got it as a shell shocker so it was worth the cost. If they redesign a bigger, heavier version far more suited for an adult hand, and additional like a actual gun, I would absolutely be interested.

This was an impulse "on sale" acquire, and turned out to be a terrific obtain. Initially, I was unhappy with the pinky bump, but immediately after removing it, I realized it was genuinely required, so I put it back on and ultimately got employed to it. I had complications in the past with wrist pain after gaming, but following working with this mouse for a couple of months, I haven't had any wrist discomfort at all!It took a although to get applied to moving the mouse, as the sensor is about an inch ahead of your hand (as opposed to getting under your hand with a traditional mouse). As a result, you have to move your arm a lot more than your wrist. I can't get used to the mouse for regular applications, so I have one more mouse on my desk for that purpose. Also, the cord is a small stiff and nonetheless has the packaging bends exactly where it was folded. If you bump the cord into something, it actually throws you off b/c of the stiffness. I also had to move my personal computer to the other side of my desk as the cord exits the correct hand side of the mouse...that was a pita. I'm knocking one egg off for the cord issues I had to lower my sensitivity to get a good feel throughout gaming and had to get a considerably bigger mouse pad. My old 8x11" was just too small for the lower sens. I got a cloth mat that is 12x18, and am quite pleased with that size.

Had this for really a lengthy time now and it is amazing. Makes my aim so much additional accurate. Uncomplicated to use and install. On the fly DPI button is in a good spot. Fits properly in my hands. The small non stick feet on the bottom of it make it glide smooth as silk also. The side grip is starting to come off from extensive wear and tear. It could have much better divers and be less complicated to bind items to the side buttons but that is not a large problem for me. Great mouse! Still gets the 5 eggs!not positive why its saying I didn't obtain it from newegg....

Exclusive design, ease of use, wide range of DPI settings. It's good for gaming. It would have been even greater if you could program the forward/ backward command buttons to reload or throw a grenade or whatever, though gaming. If it was bigger it would be even better. I installed this with the CD on Win 7-64 Bit with no challenge. I can configure it any way I like with the advanced settings. There's an icon in the quick begin menu to launch the program. If they made this thing a little bigger then possibly everyone would be happy with it. Possibly they need to supply it in 2 sizes. Its like everything else in this world, no matter how good you believe some thing is, there's usually somebody out who thinks differently, and until there's something else that's comparable to this, then this will do just fine.

Ummmm 3 out of five buttons work with BF2 Two Buttons seem to be dead! I can't program them to do squat in BF2. Read Reread and re-reread the flimsy Zalman two page manual,Tried to macro in the default for the two upperthumb buttons..Nada. Went on-line downloaded newest drivers for vista 32 residence premium. Retried macro, straight programning, BF2 merely refused to acknowlege the existence of buttons four and five, Nada. , Positive I can make the mouse and all it's buttons function although doing mundane windows outlook tasks.. but for BF2? It's a no-go. Unless you want a 3 button mouse that costs way too much for BF2 save your income, I'm going back to the g-niner

Does specifically as advertised, works as a mouse. No poor on Newegg. Shipped right on time, RMA'ed without a hitch. Just wish that UPS didn't charge an arm and a leg for shipping returned merchandise. 3Ǜ stars due to the fact there's this 1 location on the mouse that has a ridge that *shouldn't* have a ridge. The manual says you're supposed to grip that ridge with your smallest finger, but that indicates (for me) that it gets crushed. Also, it doesn't aid that I have in particular massive hands. If you have smaller-to-medium sized hands, your encounter may well differ. frankly, kinda gimmicky. : /

ZALMAN FG1000 Black Gun Mouse
Cons:none, but my experience with it is limited.

Pros:Accuracy, comfort, looks
Comment:
I just returned from Penny Arcade Expo, having used this mouse there for about an hour. I have to say, not only is it a very accurate and easy to use mouse, it is also 10 times more comfortable than your usual mouse, I've owned many Logitech and Microsoft mice, and this one is by far the easiest to use for hours on end. The buttons are all laid out in very convenient places, and the DPI Accuracy setting is a godsend for sniping and other high-accuracy tasks. Personally, I'm going to add this to my birthday wish-list, or I'm going to buy it myself. This is practically a must-have for serious FPS gamers!

ZALMAN FG1000 Black Gun Mouse
Cons:wheel is hard to row, more angled out would be better. thumb keys are too close, front buttons need better placement

Pros:Innovative design, well designed
Comment:
The unit is amazing, I didn't believe it that it'll work well, but after I brought 1 and use it, I find it really good. The pivoting movement makes the control very precise going sideways, I can now move left and right in an absolute straight line, a lot easier to get head shots. The wheel is a little hard to use, it would be a lot better if it is angled. The 2 thumb buttons is a little close, sometimes hit both key together. The front buttons also need better placement, the design could benefit to have 3 front buttons, because the middle finger is in the middle of the two buttons and it feels a little awkward, they could be made smaller and have 3 buttons then it'll be more amazing
