Cons:Pushes very little air when used with included "silent mode" adapter.
Pros:It's a fan, it does what it is supposed to do. Decent airflow, fairly quiet even without using the included "silent mode" adapter. CHEAP. Comment:
Good fan especially for the price, I wish I had picked up a couple more to have on hand. Great effective fan for people who don't want LEDs, if you value form over function then look elsewhere. |

Cons:Without the resistor installed, it makes alot of noise.
Pros:Runs quite at lower setting and pushes alot of air. Rubber stoppers are GREAT for stopping vibration Comment:
I love this little gem of a fan. It moves alot of air and is extremely user-friendly with the rubber stoppers used for installation. The only problem I have with this fan is the fact that you have to install a resistor (provided in the package) in order to bring the noise down to an acceptable level. Without the resistor installed, the fan screams like a banshee giving birth to a Shetland pony. Yet in that 1800rpm mode, it moves enough air to function as a hairdryer. Another small downfall is that it only has a 3-pin connector. So, if your mobo doesn't have an available 3-pin plug, you are out of luck. |
This is currently the best bang for the buck. These fans are very quiet and powerfull. Even at the lower 900rpm speed it blows a lot of air. I got this setup to blow air in parallel to my motherboard to cool the gpu and northbridge at 900rpm and it makes a world of difference even considering I have no side vents to draw air from.
