I just ordered this so I'll post a overview when I set up it today. The cause I ordered is that I have an A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard on to which I installed a an eVGA Nvidia 8800GTS. This card runs a bit hotter than most cards and it is partially blocking my chipset fan and the A8N-SLI are notorious for super hot chipsets. I'll post before and following temps to let you know if this was worth the income!. None as I have not installed yet.

This is a fantastic fan! Moves a fantastic bit of air. Just about much more than my 120mm fans. Blue LED in the fan is a nice touch as properly. My Radeon X1950 doesn't exhaust the heat it creates. It just recycles the heat, so it needed someway to get the heat out. This fan was ideal, and then some! None.

This fan works wonders for little spaces. Being that it's a dual slot style, it will move more air than most other slot fans offered and does it quietly. One more plus from the design is pulling air from above and below the cooler to balance air flow via the fan..... this does two issues: Helps maintain this fan quiet and keeps adjacent cards cooler from direct airflow. Also the Blue LED's are a good cosmetic touch for anybody who wants to show off their internals. If there was any alter that could have produced this slot cooler far better, it would have been the capacity to adjust the length of the slot housing to give enthusiasts that additional bit of customization. Thinking of the design and style, I'd rather have maximum airflow versus a option that caters to just about every case/card design. This cooler tends to make great sense in any case that needs added cooling without added noise. HTPC and Lanbox instances would benefit from this cooler the most considering that a lot of of the selections available for tiny form element situations reduce size along with cooling capacity. And for these graphics cards that have a passive heatsink or a dual slot cooler with additional slits on the bottom, this cooler would pull heat off those cards directly.

Performs great in my system, preserve my temps good and low on my GeForce NX8800GT and kicks a bit of that heat out the back of my case. For 13 bucks, what far more could you ask for. ....i guess the dual slot, but it doesn't bother me at all, i wasn't utilizing the other 1 anyway. order it already...

Vents a lot of air and does it from each sides.Offered a solution when I required a single desperately. None so far. My Galaxy GTX560Ti-GC cards were operating close to 90 degrees C on Furmark preset 1080 benchmarks prior to adding the card. Now, with nothing at all else changed, I'm obtaining 75 degrees. This has produced a big difference.

It cooled my fanless video card by about 10C. I had practically no noise from my Computer and now this fan makes the most noise. Incredibly noticeable for me. Practically wanted to take 2 eggs off for the noise it's making. I haven't decided if I want to leave it in spot. I'll see if I can get use to the fan noise.

Properly, it looks as if it would move some air. It sure doesn't make noise (there's a cause for this). It doesn't move air. Not 1 of thermaltake's greatest solutions. I have a thermaltake case fan blowing in, and the issue can make some noise and move some significant air. I also went with a 750W thermaltake energy supply so I know they make very good stuff. But, this issue is useless. I had two slots with no covers just to let cycle out the rear of my case. With this installed, I actually assume it moves much less air. I have to moisten my hand to essentially feel any air being pushed out. Not what I expected at all.

You can feel it pushing out a lot of air. Extremely quiet. Blue LED's are nice and vibrant. Fits in my Qpack 2 case incredibly nicely, even with a massive 8800GT video card installed two slots away. Cost is affordable taking into consideration the construct high quality. None. Highly advised for modest instances or instances with insufficient fan holes.

Super easy installation, looks excellent, does what I required it to do. A small bigger than I expected but not enough to be a problem, other than that it's great! I required anything to suck the hot air from my GPU given that it's in an region of my case exactly where the airflow is blocked. I've run some prior to and immediately after tests and have noticed a drop of among 3-4C idle and six-7C gaming so involving this and the 120mm fan I installed at the front of my Pc I'm getting what I was hunting for. It doesn't push alot of air but I have it sandwiched straight below my GPU exhaust fan so that's all the airflow I necessary. Some folks have complained that it's 'upside down' when you set up it but the cover pops off so you can flip it around and it pulls air from each sides so it doesn't actually matter. Oh, and the blue light is fairly cool though it gets overpowered by the 3 12in cold cathodes, three blue Apevia fans, and the neon spotlight I've got installed. With everything else off even though, it's a good light for the size of the fan...

Dead silent. Rated at ten.five CFM but I feel more air stress than from my 120mm major exhaust on low (rated 39 CFM). Forgot to take temp readings, but now my fanless GPU (Gigabyte Radeon X1650 dual-DVI PCIe) is not practically as hot to the touch, and I now can run the principal exhaust at reduce RPM for a quieter program (often without the temperature-controlled PSU fan even turning on). Occupies 2 PCI slots, but if you don't have two spare slots it could be time to order a bigger case. If your target is a cool and quiet technique, this fan rocks. Combined with a decrease-dBA intake and a quiet typical exhaust fan can keep fantastic airflow with virtually no noise. Combine with a fanless GPU for ultimate noise reduction.

Decent quantity of air flow in the bottom of my case, where there was none ahead of/quiet/nice LED's/fills up those final two empty PCI slots. None, besides would have liked to had a tiny far more length on the molex connection. Still not a challenge after pulling an additional psu cable down. Added the SL1, Vantec PCI slot case cooler, and two Tt 80mm case fans venting air flow up across my 9800gt and out the back of the case. Dropped my temp on the vid card about 12 degrees and stayed continual immediately after a handful of hours of gaming. All in conjunction genuinely get air flowing, and blue LED's all appear good with each other.

Absolutely cools items off by 5 degrees or so in a G4. Too noisy. Not loud, but usually noticeable. I was hoping the double-wide would mean quiet, and this could be quieter than others, but not really correct for what I wanted: My G4 is quite loud only when it is geting hot, so I hoped this would retain it beneath the threshold without having adding to the sound.

* Uncomplicated to install* Improves case temperature* Fairly quiet * Hogs up two PCI slots* Lacks Slow/Medium/High speed controller, which would aid balance noise vs. efficient cooling I don't notice any extra fan noise after adding this unit. Even so, I do notice a slight drop in case temperature, which is what I was shooting for. This can support remove heat generated by your video card, exactly where it would otherwise contribute to larger case temperatures.

Fit incredible in my case, not loud and moves a bit of air out of the case, the bottom of my case carries a bit extra heat than the top so I dropped this in my bottom Case slots on my Antec 1200 and I can really feel hot air receiving pulled out of there so I'm pleased, the lights support the case light up a bit more to. appears good, LEDs appear nice, basic to install, any cooling is helpful so this does its component didn't drop my temps as considerably as i would anticipate. im only seeing a drop from about 34C to 31-32C on the case temp monitors and on my video card which is suitable above this factor im not seeing any temp drop its nonetheless about 50C not undesirable for the cost, any cooling is beneficial cooling :)

Installed this in my wife's Dell Dimension 4700 and it's like night and day with the temperatures inside the case. The case used to get hot to the touch ƓGhz HT processor, 1GB RAM, 256MB Sapphire video card) but now it stays space temperature. Pushes a lot of air, and is relatively quiet. If you need to have Computer cooling, this is the way to go! None. Blue LEDs are cool, even in largely-enclosed case like the Dimension series.

Bought this to try to cool my brother's overheating Pc.It's absolutely not silent but the noise level is not excessive and seems acceptable (to him, anyway). It moves air properly enough so it need to do the job. The LED is silly. Doesn't come with a three pin connection. Might attempt later to add a three to four pin adapter and get Speedfan manage going.

This thing is awesome! Sucks all the hot air out of a pc! Hook up a hose on the outside and use it as a leaf blower! Or if your case has vents in the front, use the inside as a wind tunnel! It Helps move the air! can be a tad noisy...not considerably Just on a significant note, it functions excellent and assists cool down your Computer

Quiet. Moves a very good quantity of air just exactly where it wants to be. Blue LEDs are often cool. It was type of a tight fit in the PCI slots of my case, an NZXT Hush mid-tower. Not negative, though as it looks and performs good. It is quite quiet: I can not hear this fan more than my other case fans. This was just what I required to preserve my personal computer cool.

- Incredibly powerful, however quiet- Upto 20°F cooler- Can be mounted faceup or down- Cool blue hue enhancement - Requires two slots- Sticks out as well far into the pc Immediately after employing two fans and noticing marginal temperature improvements, I decided on a ผ.99 fan. Oh boy, am I glad I did, this quiet fan lowered the temperature of my box by 15° appropriate off the bat. Many customers remarked that fans face down rather than up, this is really straightforward to fix. Just pull off the silver grille (careful not to break the clips that hold them Ɣ)), flip the fan and snap it back in. Presto!
