It's a fairly affordable AM3 board with some decent capabilities. The driver assistance for this board is abysmal. The manufacture's driver download web page for this board is absolutely empty. Works as expected. Great BIOS possibilities. Booted ideal up with no issues. In contrast to final Biostar motherboard, this one particular permits USB keyboard to get into BIOS, which is a enormous relief. Brilliant price tag with combo. Only 2 RAM slots. Doesn't bother me. Knew that when I bought it.CPU extremely close to RAM slots, but as a micro ATX, thats hard to steer clear of anyway.Onboard video. Phenom II x4 965, 8gigs RipjawsX DDR3 RAM @ 1333, MSi GeForce GTX570 Twin Frozr 2. Board assists it appropriate along, works wonderful specially with Nvidia 3D Vision. Blows away Crysis, Metro 2033, Just Bring about 2, etc. With nothing at all overclocked (except the stock video card overclock). The improvement from the old Athlon x2 4000+, GeForce 8800GT, its astonishing. Nonetheless attempting to get AMD Overdrive to perform, won't let me boost multiplier, only reduce it, but settings can be modified in BIOS anyway so non-challenge there. |

USB 3., AMD Overdrive™ with ACC feature. This motherboard allows me to unlock my AMD dual core Callisto 3.two to Quad core cpu with ease. Be positive to bump up voltage with 4 cores. non The overall of this mATX is genuinely, I can't seriously find anything to complain about. This is my very first Biostar mother. I've often been with ASUS. |

Booted appropriate up, no tweaking necessary which is really good. I applied this for a matx gaming rig with a Phenom II X6 1100T, 8Gb of G.Skill DDR3 1600 Cas 8 ram, Hd 6970, NZXT Vulcan, Antec Neo Eco 620W, WD 640Gb Sata III, and an HP DVD burner. Anything has played effectively collectively and is operating flawlessly. The bios was up to date. I have not tried any overclocking with this yet simply because I have but to obtain my aftermarket CPU Cooler but it definitely has a very good amount of options for a price range segment motherboard. Understanding Biostar it need to do quite well. Absolutely nothing to complain about genuinely, the only downside to this is that it only has two RAM slots but I knew that when I bought it. Not much to speak about truly, it is what it is. |

Without having raid, it's a fantastic motherboard! AMD's drivers are old and outdated. XP Pro 64bit won't even set up (tried slipstream, numerous driver versions, driver disks). Windows 7 installs fine, but black screen of death on reboot... hangs at the RAID Driver every time. Not worth returning immediately after the combo reduction and restocking fee. Perhaps I'll place linux on it - that did really operate.. Very good price tag... Initially mobo's onboard sound card was doa and the replacement had a defective cpu fan header.Also there seemed to be thermal paste smudges on the cpu socket for the replacement, refurbished??? Not cool if that is the case. Nonetheless waiting on second replacement, typical three day delivery. |

decent cost with combo discount and rebate when i got it.booted appropriate up only had this 3 days...usb 3. not working but or i have a negative flash drive a single, so 4 3ggs for now, will update later.not a con, but didnt need to have onboard video system-Phenom II X4 955, 8 gig gskill ripjaws ddr3 1600 cas 9 and GT 240 videothis board, Phenom 955 and the eight gig ram had been upgrades. earlier cpu was dual core, Win 7 only showed two processors on the 955 to start with, but soon after some googling, then in job manager had to uncheck 2 cores and restart, then all was great. Great to be utilizing four cores when u have them. |

I still use all these old legacy connections, and am glad to see them avail. use complete 8GRam. W7 totally compliant. BOX say BioUnlocking Cores, but theres no indication as to how either in the structuons or bios parameters....- _ - MB tends to make a high pitch wine , why isn't this all SS caps? Havnt tried gaming however but flicks are good and effortless |

Purchased two for an office PC upgrade project. They performed to expectation. These represent an excellent value for your basic office PC builds and would recommend for this purpose. |

Straightforward to install and boot definetly all the average user would ever will need Only wish it had four ram slots but for the cost you cant complaine Very good obtain for the money Biostar is incredibly spending budget friendly and definetly still has whats necessary to O.C. DONT BE FOOLED BRAND NAMES DO NOT MEAN Anything this is a solid board. |

Worked as expected. Up to date bios with lots of overclocking possibilities. Low value and very good overall performance. Not adequate to lose an egg...the pci and pci-e slots are really close. My gtx 260 covered one particular slot and left only two mm or so of space between my wireless network card and video card. The bios reset jumper is in line with video card so resetting the bios can be a discomfort. Similar factor with sata connectors. Bought as a combo with phenom x6 1090 to upgrade my...*cough*...dell which I stripped a few parts from like energy provide, video card, dvd drive and tough drive. Added a new case 8gbƒx4gb) gskill ripjaws ram and every thing has worked from very first boot. Had an added usb connection on mobo so I grabbed my card reader and put that in as well. Really content with mobo. |

Pretty much all I required. Fitted this into slim, low profile case. It fit fine. Solid caps need to last longer - we'll see. Can handle 8 GB ram in 2 slots rather of only 4 GBPCI X16 slot, and 2 pci slotstwo USB 3 & 2 usb two on back panelGB LANSufficient space about CPU for aftermarket coolerfour on board SATA connectors - didn't use RAID so can't comment on it. Weird audio connector setup for HD audio with no way to hook up AC97 style front panel connectors. Most likely should have both given that the instances out there don't have HD audio for front ports (except high end).Most likely can\'t use both pci slots if making use of x16 slot but wouldn't have any use for them both anyway.Instruction manual is one sheet - both sides with photos. If you are not knowledgeable at constructing then you could want some help from yet another source. Board nevertheless has IDE, parallel, & serial ports... Why? Haven't employed them in at least 3 or four years now. Remarkable how considerably is crammed on this board specifically for it's size. Anything additional would demand a riser card! |

Wonderful Board for the dollars. This was for a rebuild and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 found all the drivers with no challenge. I like the Bios thermal protection, it's very customizable. Whoever developed the board layout has never fastened a board down inside of a case. The screw hole at the finish of the memory slots is next to impossible to get began. I had to use tape on the finish of a screwdriver (old school, still hesitate to use magnetics). But if you had a superior set of forceps that would do the trick. No 1394 port, only 2 memory slots, but if you're okay with that (I am) then it's a fine board. |
Its good and compact perfect for htpc case as board is just a bit smaller than other micro atx boards. Nice characteristics all in all would obtain again for a spending budget make. updated bios now acc won't function fails to enter windows yet the sempron 140 I'm working with operates just fine as dual core on Asus board, and was working on this board till I updated bios. no spdif out built in to back plate and doesn't come with a bracket for it either
