Cons: - Thermal tape is easy to move and would fall off if you exert a little pressure

Pros: - Silent even at 100%- 30C less than Stock Cooling- Does the job :D- HSF is a decent size
Comment:
I got my Diamond ati Radeon HD 4850 512mb card back in 2009 and the thing whines at higher load and produces a huge amount of heat (80-90C+). Now with this cooler, I'm getting 40C at idle with the Core Clock at 700mhz and the memory clock at 1075mhz. Aside from the thermal tapes being not very adhesive, I would recommend this to anyone with a stock video card that has a cooler similar to the 9800gt, 4850, 9600gt and etc.

Cons: - Ramsinks don't use the best thermal tape.

Pros: - Great Air flow to noise ratio- Reduced the temperature of an MSI GTS 450 from 76C under load to 43C.- Attractive Price
Comment:
Overall a very good alternative to the stock cooler.

Cons: Fussy install.

Pros: Efficient, quiet.
Comment:
I have 2 of these, installed on an old Palit 4850 and a Palit 4830. Quieter and more efficient than the stock coolers. Rarely see temps above 55C. Virtually silent. Install is a bit fussy with small screws and plastic spacers, but the small sticky paper washers really help (but are easy to overlook).

Cons: Would be been nice to have two pin power adapter for card. You need allot of space next to vid card on MB.

Pros: Solved overheating problems on my Nvidia 7600GS card. Easy to install.
Comment:
I had to move a card over to the outside PCI Slot and two of the 4 slots are not usable ASUS M2N-E MB. It was not a problem for my need just a heads up.

Cons: Installation

Pros: Slient! Doesn't make a noise even at 100%b2000RPM
Comment:
I have the XFX rev.1 5770, and it's stock fan was more of a white noise machine than cooler. This thing over works awesome, is stupid quite and was amazingly cheap! $12! The only reason the installation is a con is because it's a little tricky; working with fresh thermal paste, loose small pieces and micro-sized screws. Honestly though, this is half the fun! Last note, watch out as this cooler is slightly taller (when card flat on desk) than the stock cooler, I had to remove my PCI sound card. Mobo: asus m4a89gtd-protldr; Works great with XFX 5770 stock! Awesome value!

Cons: hard to install solo

Pros: Price, size, silence, included accessories
Comment:
Ok, here is the skinny you want to read. This is well worth the $20 that you will pay for it. It is quiet. Dead quiet. It replaced a factory defective HSF on a nvidia 9500. This is overkill for this card, but what the heck - it's the cheapest option. So I go to work removing the old HSF. I've oiled it a few times but it just turns into an airplane every couple of weeks. After a long while of fighting to get the old HSF off (those screws are stupid hard, as in it stripped my screw driver) she finally came off to reveal the GPU. At this point I noticed that the included HSF that came with the card had a 4 pin PWM header, but only two wires.Cleaned it all up and then ran into the same problem everyone else has. The installation is a little difficult if you have only two hands. Two people can install this in about 5 minutes. One person could take an hour. After doing both, here is the instructions you want to follow for a solo procedure.1. put the plastic screw cover onto the screws. 2. put the screws into place, place spacers onto screws.3. use electrical tape on the screw heads to keep the screws in place.4. mount on the new HSF and screw firmly into place.Aside from that, you will want to install your ram and etc heat sinks before mounting this. Also PLEASE NOTE that you should check to see if the Fans power connector will reach the power on your board. If it can't reach, the fan itself is a clip on that can be removed, rotated, and placed back on the heatsink. Then you will have plently of room to connect the header. You may also want to connect the header before screwing it down.Altogether the installation wasn't that bad once I had someone to help by holding the screws. Prior to that it was an exercise of frustration. Bottom line: this thing is the quietest component in the whole PC. It can run without making much noise. it's what we were all promised years ago when silent computing became a big deal. This also is an improvement over the original HSF because it actually has the full PWM wiring and header.I will likely be purchasing a few more of these as I do recommend them as a stock replacement for any video card.

Cons: It's thick and covers a PCI slot, but wasn't a problem for me

Pros: Very QuietCools well2 Speed settings
Comment:
Has 2 speed settings (by simply using 2 different plug voltages 7V and 12V). Cools my HD4850 very well on the lowest setting. I tried it on high and got the same temps, so I leave it at 7V. It's very quiet, a great buy.The included RAM heatsinks don't have strong tack, so make sure you clean the RAM well with an eraser and rubbing alcohol if you plan to use the little heatsinks. In hindsight I would have just kept the stock RAM heatsink, but even though they don't stick strongly, they have never fallen off with the fan sitting upside down. So I purchased this to replace the stock cooler on my Gigabyte 5770 reference card. I wanted something quieter while still gaining some performance and this unit did so in spades. It greatly dropped my temps allowing for a decent overclock as well as being whisper quiet when just watching a movie or surfing the net. Even while gaming the fan speed only ever has to hit around 50%. The only thing i find myself not liking is the way it looks. It looks big and bulky on one side of the card while leaving the rest of the card bare....but for $20 what can you do.

Pros: extremely quiet
Comment:
The performance of this compared to the stock cooler on my 8600gt is amazing. Considerably lower temperatures and lower noise are always a plus. The fan is a pwm fan, but unless you have a motherboard header right beside your pcie slot, you're probably going to have to use one of the molex adapters included.

I'm really satisfied. I has cooled down my BFG 9800GT OC down by 20 to 30 degrees depending of the situation. I forced the fan to 100% and I don't ear it over my Antec tri-cools at min. speed. It is PWM controlled and plug right into an nVidia video card. Come with fan adapters for 3 pins motherboard and PSU Molex.

Pros: Silent operation. Vastly improved cooling over the stock unit
Comment:
Replaced the failing, stock cooler on a 9600GSO. Reduced the GPU core temp by 15 degrees at idle and 20+ at load all while being quieter than the stocker. It now idles at 45 and maxes out around 57, which is less than the idle temp with the stock unit. These tired old eyes of mine had a bit of trouble with the tiny spacers. As an added bonus, my CPU and system temps have also dropped by 5 degrees after installing this cooler.

Cons: -Voltage Regulator Heatsinks don't stick

Pros: -Very Quiet-Not hard to install
Comment:
I bought this to replace my cooler for the EVGA Geforce 9800GT which is ridiculously noisy when playing games and seemed to not give enough cooling with temps reaching 80 degrees. When I switched to the Accelero the video card became whisper quiet and stays at the 30-50 degree range. One thing that I didn't like was that the voltage regulator heatsinks would not stick even though I used their method of rubbing the VRs with a eraser first.

Pros: Cools well.Cheap. Quiet.12 or 7 volt option.
Comment:
This is a decent change out for noisy fans. If you are looking for ultra performance and features, get their Pro series. Also, it is not compatible with SLI/Crossfire unless your board is a 3 slot separation. (1 for first card, 2 for cooler). As for performance, nothing to complain about.

Bought this based on internet reviews. I have this combined with my overclocked XFX HD4770 v 1000/1050. Keeps my card and video ram running cool and quiet. The added ramsinks, mosfet heatsink and PWM fan cable makes this a steal. For the price this is with out a doubt the best video card cooler on the market but only for video cards it supports. Cons: -Eats up 3 PCI slots if that matters to you-the installation manual seemed like it came from another product..

Pros: -VERY Quiet-Excellent cooling performance-Very inexpensive-easy installation-the 4 pin connector works with my XFX 4770 without needing to use the adapter-pre-applied MX2 thermal paste
Comment:
I bought this to replace the blower fan on my XFX Radeon 4770 which was very hot and very noisy. At the default fan settings, it would idle at 55°C and peak at 75°C. With this heatsink it now idles at 42°C and peaks at 58/59°C. This is all done while decreasing the noise tremendously from the blower cooler. One problem I did come across is that the Fan speed reading now is non-functional (Average FAN speed is ~900,000 RPM) but i don't care about that since I can't hear the fan at all in idle or when in load. I used the spacers in the order of Heatsink-Card-spacers-screws rather than heatsink-spacers-card-screws inorder to get a good contact. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-22-10 07:29 PM

Comment:
This replaced the stock cooler on my 'Sapphire HD3650 512MB GDDR3 PCI-e', as the fan died. I couldn't find a replacement fan, so I got this. I really didn't need this to keep the temperature down, but it's idling at 33'C with MX-2 thermal paste. Pretty good. The installation was frustrating because the damn spacers were so small for the size of my fingers. I didn't like the instructions of the installation either. Keep in mind this blocks the slot right below it, where the original stock cooler didn't block it. Also, I wish they had a 2pin connector for the fan power, because that's what the HD3650 has on its board. For those replacing their Sapphire HD3650 PCI-e. Do the heatsinks for RAM first. Then, use the white spacers that are tube shaped. Use the square pieces with circular holes, which are double sided tape, to hold up the spacers onto the screw holes of the heatsink chassis. Apply MX-2 onto the preapplied thermal paste, so it can make good contact. Once mounted, flip it over, align screw holes and screw it in place.

I run 2 ATI 4850s in crossfire mode. Both my 4850s started to really heat up as they got older, and as a result became VERY VERY noisy. Frequently when playing games, the PC would shut down from thermal overheating conditions on the video card, and I'm not playing very intense graphics games. Idle would be 85C on these cards at rest. I picked up 2 of these and installed them in a xfire configuration and while large, it did work. Now both cards are around 46C at idle and I've not gone above 60C yet while gaming. Not bad for 20 bux each! I can't even hear the fans now, whereas before it sounded like a jet plane trying to escape my case.

I was having heat problems with my videocard, so I changed the cooler. For 20$, this does all I needed! The stock cooler on my EVGA 8800GT kept it around 70 degres idle and 80 in-game. This cooler now keeps it down to 40 idle and I haven't seen more than 50 in-game.Only drawbacks I can think of aren't such a problem, but still. First, the size of it. This cooler takes 3 to 4 PCI slots, so if you need them, be mindful of its size. Secondly, the individual VR heatsinks just didn't stick on my card. I tried a few things but they just wouldn't. Now I run without them (except for 2 that did stick...). Not really a problem since my temps are still as low as they could be.Overall, I'd buy again anytime if I needed a quick, easy and cheap replacement for my videocard cooler!
