Not completely silent, but still pretty quiet. You don't really hear the motor and most of the sound coming from the fan is just whooshing air. Might be advisable to hook it up to a fan controller if you're trying to go for a "silent" build.Something to note if you're planning on using this over a heatsink though: I don't know what the static pressure of these things are, so you might want to go look that up. |

Good quality fan that isn't loud, and moves a decent amount of air. Braided cable would have been a nice touch, but such a minor thing.
