Pros: - Silent- Reliable- Cost effective
Comment:
I am not sure what other people are talking about but I had 0 problems with this cooling system. Installed on LGA 775 Core 2 for about 2 years now (bought from a local shop). Been working flawlessly. Price is unbeatable.

Cons: The dealer just provided 1 year warranty.

Pros: Slient, the noise is totally acceptable. You will not get disturbed by it.Easy to install. It took me less than 30 mins to install the Alpine 11 Pro Rev 2 to my board. I did not even read the manual. It is value for money. It is quite cheap. I think the performance is great in this price tag.
Comment:
Idle temps are around 45C-50C with a quiet, slow fan speed, while a 1.5 hour 1080p 7 on 7 Starcraft 2 game (with an open PC case top, needs more venting) gave max temperatures of each core, 63C, 62C, 64C, 64C with the fan at full speed.

Cons: This cooler is a waste of money, cheap made

Pros: nice coulor
Comment:
This cooler was a complete waste of time and money for me as I purchased it on sale for a client. it does work but getting it to make proper contact with core I3 530 would not happen. I threw it in my recycle pile til time to write this review.

Cons: Cheap constructionEasily broken

Pros: CheapoQuiet
Comment:
Stock fan broke so I bought this.Pointy plastic that hold the fan in place is BAD design. I broke one of them instantly when I pull the unit outside of box. Installation was a nightmare. The screw heads strip so bad I can barely unscrew them to actually install the heatsink. BAD.Good: The fan is quiet and the unit is CHEAP.

Cons: Broke during install - VERY cheap construction of plastic mounting frame.

Pros: Clean looking unit, rubber isolated fan mounts
Comment:
NOT 3 STARS! 0 STARS! Easily Broken Product!Bought this to replace a stock intel cooler for my Q6600 because it was starting to run in the 40+C range at idle, and I know a friend's identical chip was running 20 degrees cooler. The instructions were a little cheesy, but whatever, not hard to follow if you read them. The mounting "pins" are plastic pegs that split open to bind to the motherboard. They don't look like they hold all that well, but I never got to find out because the plastic frame the heat sink attaches to in order to secure to the mainboard broke as soon as i started tightening the screws. The plastic is probably 1mm thick at most, and flexes if you look at it funny. I'd stay away from this product and get something, ANYTHING, else.Side Note: Wonder why NCIX wouldn't let me rate it as 1 Star - just gave me errors, but works when 3 stars. hmmm....

Cons: Pins feel cheap

Pros: Easy to assemble, very quiet
Comment:
Put this in an HTPC system. Very quiet. Bad instructions on how to assemble but easy enough to figure out. Took 2 times. Would recommend for an HTPC sytem cools better than stock and is quieter This review was modfied by poster @ 12-16-09 10:05 AM
