Uncomplicated access case, has tons of fans to preserve the CPU and GPU cooled unless of course you people are crazy about Overclocking and heat syncs. Typical sized case but nevertheless major enough to match my 260GTX video card without having a problem. Runs fairly quiet and smooth regardless of all the fans. Each sides of the case open by the pull of a manage and also come off the hinges just as quickly if you wish. It weighs roughly 35 pounds dead. That's just the case itself with no energy provide....its a heavy case. It was a little smaller sized than what my energy supply gave me...but practically nothing a tiny zip ties couldn't repair for organization. I'm operating a three.0GHz Quad, with 8GB RAM, a GeForce 260 GTX superclocked, and a corasir 750Watt nothing goes over 45 Celcius in this infant it runs good and cool for the normal heat sync and fans. Most folks I see go way more than 60 which is no risk but when you can run Crysis at full anything and see the common cooling do its job as well as this it just tends to make you really feel pleased inside lol.

Good air flow and effortless access to internal components. Solid construction. I like the side window. Energy supply connectors looked cheap, wires to the front door LED and HDD Led looked like they would break if the door was opened a lot. I didn't connect them. I ended up replacing the energy supply with a seasonic. General a great case for the cash.

the smily will do anything you want it to if ure the average computer consumer but if your not it will rip you to pieces no cable managment whilst you ride your smily to evil

I've had this case for more than 4 years now (I can't think it's been that lengthy) and I've had zero troubles with this case. It's been phenomenal. And to add to that, I've had the power supply that came with this case for just as extended. I did replace the energy provide yesterday though due to the fact I'm preparing my method for a key overhaul (don't want to push my luck with the PSU that came with this case, but I imagine it would last rather a bit longer). The energy provide that it ships with doesn't have cables extended adequate to let the side of the case with the motherboard to fold down and lay flat on the floor. To let it to lay flat, you have to initial disconnect the motherboard's power cable. This case is attractive... still immediately after four years.

the case is huge. it fits each and every factor i put in it. the case came with 4fans. one particular 120.mm in the front.3 80mm fans, two on the side, one particular on the back. the case has a clear side which you can see all your fantastic stuff and the leds. the case has a side bar and can be take away. the case side panels can be fold down or pull out by making use of the panel on leading. the case came with a 500w psu which i believe its great excpet the 24 pin is too quick. the fans are kinda loud but thats because there all on high speed in contrast to other fans which are on low speed.its tooless for most thing in the case excpet the MB. the harddrive cage can be get rid of if your gonna put a big graphic card like ati 5970ྭ.5 inch) or other card and it has a Graphics card stabilizer arm and Tool kit integrated. i have this case for about four-5years so its a fantastic case and the psu is also use four-5 year nothing at all has come about however the fans are fairly loud (the fan came with high speed) but no difficulty. the 24 pin is as well quick for the psu. the case is to heavy 30-40 spec MSI 790XT-G45AMD 7850 Dual coreATI XFX Radeon 4850Memory Master 8GB DDR2Cooler Master Hyper TX3 coolerWD 500 GBG9X AND G15

It was huge and it was very low-cost at the time. Some of the plastic on the connectors was warped so had to shave it down. Power provide with it wasn't really great.

Review Date: 07/05/13
good design and style, effortless installation, the foldout motherboard panel was vary beneficial.not to mention it looks genuinely cool. the integrated energy supply has no fan on the outdoors of it, i had somthing laying around i used to fix that, the energy cord for the disc drive and the really hard drive is fairly short so my disc drive is on the 2nd to last slot.the reduced fan on the side inst low, or far sufficient more than to do something productive(cool my gpu) for the most aspect this is an exceptional case, it had rather a handful of cons but none of them have been main troubles.

Review Date: 07/01/13
Runs cool with right fans The case fans and energy supply are not quite great, plan on replacing them. Also, if you have a decent sized heatsink on your CPU the side panel won't close (I have a Scythe Ninja and door won't close)

The factor weighs about 30 pounds empty. Complete, it weighs about 73. This is not a cheaply constructed case. The tool-box is amazing. The PSU wires are also brief to allow me to lay the motherboard tray all the way down. Particularly the CPU power plug. This case does not fit in my pc desk. It's Enormous. This might be a con for most, but not me.

This is my initial make, got a single of these with an integrated 500watt power supply, was kinda sceptical at the value, but everything ran completely, and the door on the mother board side operates fantastic! Power provide functions wonderful as well! none

Ordered two of these circumstances for a higher end system - worked out properly.Quiet, nicely cooled method. It's a bit over the prime - vibrant blue LED fans.USB ports on the front (only two) are at the quite bottom of the case. Can't use DVD drive devoid of opening the swinging door. 1 of the two situations showed up with the swinging door cracked. I didn't care to complain, I just required the systems built. Verify the solution carefully when unboxing if this stuff issues you.

-Both sides of the case fold out, so installation is particularly simple-500W energy supply incorporated-Screwless drive installs-Tool kit integrated-HD bay swivels out for uncomplicated HD installation plus HD brackets permit you to just slide the drive in an it locks automatically-Lots of fans-Graphics card stabilizer arm The PSU that comes with it is good but some of the cables are too short--specifically the SATA energy cables. Plus it only has two SATA connectors so if you want to place in far more than two SATA drives you'll need to have a various PSU. I have a BluRay drive and a HD in my setup and I had to put the BluRay in the lowest 5.25" bay and the HD in one particular of the external three.five" bays just to get power to each of them. The HD's screw holes didn't line up with both the screw holes of the bay so I had to safe it utilizing only 1 screw--not an best setup. One particular egg off for this. I decided I wanted to do a RAID setup, so I had to buy a new PSU, but I feel it'll function out for the greatest this way. My guidance is to get this case with no the PSU-- Newegg has it as of the date of this assessment. I would give that one 5 eggs very easily. The non-HD locking mechanisms are plastic. This kinda put me off at initially, but they appear to do the job as extended as you don't strategy on dropping your case from five feet in the air. If you have a truly long graphics card, be careful when you close the side of the case with the mobo on it. You could want to sort of aid it a tiny. You might also have to move some of the power wires out of the way so they don't get reduce or pinched. That's the price you pay for an uncomplicated mobo set up I guess. Just be careful when you close the mobo side of the case. The HD brackets are kinda strange. They really push into the screw holes on the drive which could potentially rip up the threads.

This case is everything it claims to be and additional! I positively adore how straightforward it was to build in and it has lots of space. A lot more so for the cooling location that it has with the bigger fan capacity. None. A tiny bigger than I thought it would be for being a mid...but, it isn't overly large or anything.

Review Date: 05/28/13
Lots of space! Effectively placed fan mounts, internal storage for unused/future use components. Incorporated power provide only has 2 SATA power leads, short cable for motherboard power, but that could be a "good issue" to some as it insures mobo is unpowered for the duration of service.Difficult dive LED is a little dificult to see active unless the front is open.Case shipped to me with a faulty front fan; seems to be a dead winding in the motor, as the fan won't commence spinning but does move a modest quantity on initial powerup. We'll see if Raidmax will ship me a replacement fan, as I'd prefer not to have to disassemble my new computer and RMA the entire case via newegg.Would be a fiveǛ overview if the case had been excellent tested before being shipped to me with a dead fan.

Solid Case, Not Flimsy at allComes with four fans!Has space for even more fans!Good HDD carriage that swings or comes fully out for simple accessDecent tool-less drive installationlittle fingers that assist hold Video cardLooks good (to some) Weighs a lotFor some, the lights may be As well muchHDD activity light could as well not even be there, it's drowned out by the other lightsdoor will not close if there is Anything sticking out (USB cable, anything in the bay that sticks out, and so forth...)Power Supply has only 2 SATA leadsEnergy Provide isn't that very goodFans all have Molex hook-ups (can't control them with the Motherboard)Cable management could be far better. For a standard make, the Energy Provide will in all probability be sufficient, though you might will need to purchase a Molex to SATA adapter if you have more than 2 drives. For any higher-end builds, obtain a new PSU (The case alone is nonetheless worth it)For cable management, you have to get a bit inventive.I installed my two HDDs into the bottom HDD carriage backwards. I had to do a small drilling to the brackets that hold the drives in order to permit screws to be installed exactly where the pins won't line up with a backwards drive. My other cables have been tucked by taking the MoBo panel off and running them subsequent to the drive bays. I took out the PSU and run one particular molex cable beside it coming out of the small gap toward the back of the case, then ran it more than and down to power the rear and side fans.

Most of the promoting-points of this product are correct. Case runs points cool. It's very sturdy. The screwless drive-installation is pretty spiffy. The case is definitely designed to provide uncomplicated access. The case might not be created as effectively as it could be to present the aforementioned effortless access. This undoubtedly isn't false advertising, as I said, you can inform they were attempting to make it easy. It just doesn't take place quite as effectively as it could. The fold down motherboard-tray's functionality is restricted sharply by the fact that the case's energy supply cords are a bit on the brief-side. You will most likely have to disconnect some stuff just before folding this side down, which to me defeats the purpose a tad. The configuration of the cables from this energy provide is the supply of most of the cons for this item. They're all kinds of brief and organized strangely, particularly when you issue in the wiring for the LEDs. I haven't had to replace it from a energy perspective, even with a GTX 460 card and a quad core processor, but I've got a spending budget, and power provide is one of the last factors I be concerned about unless there's stability difficulties, which there's not. Nevertheless would propose swapping it. A very good, sturdy, effectively-cooled mid-size case which may be the world's 2nd easiest to operate within. Would most likely be the planet's 1st easiest if not for the power-provide cords, but you can rectify this by investing in a nice modular.

Massive sufficient for all but intense gamer, well organized and super simple to perform on. Tiny power provide, business won't answer tech assistance concerns - you're on your personal. Excellent far outways the poor. Finest case for the income.

Review Date: 05/18/13
This is the very best tower you can get, is massive it has alot of space. it hold all my gear cool and it is super fairly... 500W is just plenty. if you are a gamer you much better get a more effective supply. but if is just a normal construct for work/home use this is the appropriate one particular energy cables not long for the bottom drives.

Good Product! Incredibly Uncomplicated Installation of Hardware.... keeps good airflow have 4 fans and has the choice to install a 5th a single... ............

Review Date: 05/12/13
A low cost makes this case a quite fantastic obtain. The power supply was sufficient for a typical to slightly high level develop. Loved the removable sides, even even though, as other folks have mentioned, the energy cables have been just a wee bit brief from becoming in a position to attach them to the MB whilst the MB side was lying open. Nonetheless, the price tag kept the rating at 5 eggs. Oh yes, the weight of the steel sides was a bonus. Most decrease priced cases are thin and tinny. This one particular is created of heavier guage metal. Can't say I have any... Good case for tinkering.

Fantastic case, flexible, lots of choices, and nicely constructed. Limited fans included, but choices to add a lot more. Front door design is annoying. PSU failed, fans failed. PSU underpowered depending on your hardware complement. If you are looking for a good hunting, functioning and well made case, contemplate this a single seriously. Immediately after more than 3 years of ownership, this case has been a excellent asset. When if initially arrived, there was no "shipper" box, and the front door was broken, presumably due to shipping damage - following alerting Raidmax Buyer Assistance, we received a replacement door very rapidly. We ultimately replaced the front fan with a new variable speed fan in the front, and it reduces the noise drastically. The PSU supplied only has one PCI-E / GPU power connector. The only problems to point out ... now that the unit is out of warranty : - two of the Raidmax fans ࿰mm) in the really back and one particular above the Video Card have failed (locked up bearings?) - finding prepared to replace. - the PSU has failed - searching for a replacement now.

simple to mount anything. As stated in other reveiws, cables are brief. power supply-- not really up to par with i5 and i7 technologies as the motherboard energy plug is four pin and you will will need an 8 pin to plug up a newer style board. wish I had recognized, or want it had listed the specs on the power provide. Or better yet, want newegg or raidmax had not been so low-cost as to not include things like an adapter.they are rather inexpensive, so it seems, but I have been searching for two days in my region and haven't identified anywhere that stocks them... unless I want to drive 26 miles to the nearest fry's.So every items prepared,if I can power up the motherboard!! Such a huge good box to put a baaaad-a--- method in, if only you knew about the limitations on the psu. Perhaps I ought to have just bought the cASE AND NOT THE PSU. But after spending over 800.00 dollars on a combo technique I was a little streched on my money. More consideration on my element subsequent time, you betcha!!!

- Very good ventilation- Screwless drive mounting program- Straightforward access to internal components by way of fold-open side panels- Consists of energy provide, generating this case a very good value - After a handful of months, a plastic bar that served as a manage for the front door fell off, which I haven't been in a position to reattach- Some of the aesthetic choices Overall a very good case for the price tag if you're looking for one particular with an integrated energy provide, though be conscious that the supply is only 500w. I purchased this and, about a year later, upped the power supply. Those searching for a minimalistic look to their case may possibly want to take into account a distinct case, as the side fan and front door have blue LED lighting. Also aesthetically, the word "Smilodon" along the front door, as effectively as the firm logo on a strut viewable from the side window, are a bit detracting, personally.

I like the appear of the case, which was the explanation I bought it, well that and it came with a power provide. Little, managing wires had been a bit of a discomfort and the reality that neither side panels could be removed [well you can but you may break it]. If you have your own energy provide with removable molex connectors, wire management is less complicated. You get what you paid for. If I had the further cash, I would have went for a greater case + power provide.

None Raidmax is terrible - their so known as rebates are a complete scam and downright lie. I will by no means, ever obtain an additional one particular of their crummy chinese goods - I seriously hate liers and cheats and they are. I have been a long time New Egg customer and I definitely hope that New Egg re-evaluates their solutions and considers removing their solution line all collectively. Raidmax is NOT respected.I have read countless critiques from other people with the exact very same outcome.
