I bought this RAM because of the price and its red LED lighting.Do note that the ones that I got pulsate and do not give off continuous light. Also, there isn't any way (currently) to control the lighting at all. The two sticks of RAM do not pulsate on same beat which is weird, but this seems like how it was designed to be. There are videos on youtube with the same lighting pattern.But otherwise an excellent memory solution at a good price with LED |
Bought one set and had both of them DOA. Did a painless RMA with NCIX and received a second set. One of the 2 sticks in that set was DOA! The other one did work perfectly in both system performance and Memtest. Did another painless RMA with NCIX. Looks like third time's the charm. No issues at all, both sticks working well and no errors in memtest either. After discussing it with the NCIX tech who also believed it was bad luck vs poor product (due to low number of RMAs) I'd buy again. 3 Stars for the hassle though.
