-cheap-silent -cheap-weak on energy (but that is what you are obtaining with a 3450)-no CrossFireX support I bought this without totally reading its specs considering it could enable out through CrossFireX but it doesn't support it. I was obtaining superior Win7 graphics benefits with my onboard [GIGABYTE GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H] video than right after I installed this card. It dropped me to 3.5 on the 'experience level', but I'm keeping it in due to the fact I would rather free of charge up the RAM that my onboard was working with then return this card for a restocking charge.

inexpensive, cool, I use this to test new builds when I develop them as to not risk a far more expensive card till I know its all fantastic and cool, does the job don't attempt to game with this fantastic for testing and basic web surfing, I wouldn't hook this up the the television or a big lcd at 256mb of memory and slow clock speeds, if you have massive plans for it then get some thing around โ with 1gb of memory. Powercolor tends to make good products

HDMI output with sound, DVI and VGA output, passive cooling (no extra fan noise) Not ideal for games. Not modern games, anyway. The heat-sync can get rather hot, so if you’re the sort that likes to tinker with your hardware, you may well want to let it cool before generating any physical changes. This is a great card for media centers considering that it has the HDMI out. I bought this card for a temporary card to make confident the computer I’m developing worked. When my dad saw the card he liked it so a lot that he purchased one the subsequent day for his media center he’s making.

Value. Fanless. For the Proper application, you can't go incorrect.I bought this for a shuttle HTPC in my bedroom. I necessary the HDMI ouput (which functions wonderful), and don't intend to use it for gaming. I will only be utilizing it for watching Blu-Ray and DVDs and possibly some light web browsing. As it is for a HTPC, fanless is definately a should. Windows rating for Aero graphics only a three.6. But not a big concern for what I'll be working with it for.Heatsink is a tiny huge and will block any adjoining slot.Make confident you can spare the blocked slot prior to ordering. Not for you if you plan on executing gaming with it. Tends to make an Great selection for a standard HTPC (this is the 2nd one particular I've built with this card). For ฮ+ cost-free shipping...you must obtain a single just for a spare.

PCI Express 2., Does not require a connection to your energy provide. Has 5.1 Audio HDMI that does not call for it to be linked to a SPDIF. 100% Silent running due to no fan on the heatsink. Windows 7 Gaming Performance went up from 3.7 to five.3 Windows 7 Aero overall performance rating dropped from four.7, to three.3 with this card. Cards Heatsink blocks any PCI slot next to your PCI-E slot. 256MB DDR2 with a 64-bit. Suggests this card is NOT for the Severe Gamer who wants to play on a 1080p Screen. Nevertheless decent at lower resolutions. Took off 1 egg for the 256MB 64bit memory. Installed the Windows 7 64bit Drivers v9.11 from the powercolor internet site. No Complications throughout set up. Requires a 300w PSU. Box claims this card has 1GB Hyper Memory. Not a undesirable card for the price.

None! It worked for about a month and now it gives BSOD errors about drivers, even right after updating! Get a affordable nVidia and stay away from this ATI card! Manufacturer Response:BSOD errors can be brought on by numerous different elements in the Pc, or even software connected issues. The card appears like it worked for a month, and then all of a sudden BSOD's started out happening. Either the card decided to die following a month, or one thing else could be causing issues. Either way if you e-mail me I can help you with technical assistance, or even with receiving an RMA replacement. My e-mail is hugo@powercolor.com, thanks.-Hugo

PCIe 2. (see other thoughts), HDMI output, 1080p playback, silent, will game (if you force it to). CCC's overscan control is nifty on HDTVs. Plays films like a champ. Doesn't go above 55C even with heavy strain and a poorly ventilated situation. Color on my on my 47" phillips HDTV 򜠸p, 60Hz seems a small funky (oversaturated). but 1280x1024 or 720p is fine. May well just be my Tv. Isn't the cable as far as I can inform (used identical cable on my PS3, no funky color stuff) Ahh well, I like getting able to read almost everything across the room on 720p anyways...Large overall performance dropoff in gaming vs my 8500GT. I didn't purchase this card to game with, but I didn't anticipate it to be this substantially slower...CoH:EF was fully fine on low, but CoD4 framerates dropped by almost 50% vs my 8500GT, that was somewhat appauling to me. But then yet again, this is my media center, not my gaming computer. But then once again, the point was les than ฮ + S&H To anyone questioning about weird video card incompatibility issues that some people today seem to be experiencing (eg. card performs in 1 motherboard, not a different) PCIe 2. cards are compatible with all PCIe slots. a lot of PCIe 2.1 cards appear to have difficulties with PCIe 1. slots, which are typical on old/budget mobos. Several people like me have decided to use an old/cheap motherboard for their HTPC, take note of this, and get accordingly.

I haven't had a entire lot of time to evaluate this to my onboard graphics to truly see if I'm getting a enhance, but I didn't purchase this card for a enhance anyways. I had a comp that is mainly applied for HTPC sort activities (PowerPoint, movies) that necessary dual output capabilities, but the mobo was only capable of single output. ฤ for a perfectly capable HTPC card with HDMI, DVI, and VGA is all I could ever ask for. It performs wonderful. I had no troubles with set up or setup whatsoever, and from what I gathered in my research, Powercolor appears to have a sterling reputation for reliability. Not a con if you know what you're shopping for, but this card is not going to plow via Crysis on high settings. I haven't pushed this factor at all but, but I would guess that if you're into playing games that were produced after 2007-2008, this isn't going to be the card you want. This card is fantastic if it suits your demands. Just make positive you won't will need a lot more ahead of you acquire. Unless you're wanting a high-end rig, chances are this is going to exceed your wants.

Card operates good for Hybrid CrossfireX in a Biostar 760G motherboard. Took a while to figure out that the new Catalyst Control Center requires SP2 in Vista, but immediately after that mess was figured out, the drivers work well for the card. A different note: don't forget to allow onboard video "always" in the BIOS, so it doesn't get turned off with the 3450 installed, enabling the Crossfire checkbox in the Catalyst Manage Center. Seriously struggles playing Crysis @ 1024x768 even on minimal details with Hybrid CrossfireX enabled, in case you were wondering. Excellent for multimedia playback, terrible for even the most fundamental gaming. Heatsink takes up two slots, but that's obvious from the photos. This may well be a pro to some, as the heatsink is large sufficient to keep the card below 60C in Furmark and does so with no noise. Even a smaller amount of airflow is fine for this passively-cooled card. Got it for ฤ right after MIR; any far more and I wouldn't have bought it. It's a entertaining tiny upgrade to a standard Computer if crossfiring it with the onboard video, but don't expect it to do anything besides make video and pictures look better and give more display connectivity.

Budget card, got my technique up and operating The HDMI out by no means worked. It was a inexpensive card so I didn't actually appear into it significantly, but it seriously really should be some thing that functions out of the box It achievable some tinkering could have gotten the HDMI to function, but i tried for about two hours and threw in the towel. It genuinely was the only purpose i got this card. So, I went out and spent a handful of more bucks on a much more reliable card

Affordable, HDMI, low profile. Slow clock speed, low texture memory. Mine shipped bent. The metal panel that faces the outside of the case was bent at a five degree angle inward, which is strange due to the fact the box was in outstanding condition. Makes me wonder if Newegg refurbished this, or if it was just a fluke. Albeit, I easily bent it back into place. It works just as advertised.

HDMI/DVI/VGA who could ask for a lot more at this price tag point and you get DirectX ten.1 I really like it just great for my HTPC hooked up to 37" hdtv and built one particular for my nephew who has it hooked up to 52" Samsung. Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, Youtube all look fantastic too. it doesn't come with a case badge/sticker lol I like those If your on a spending budget but want great efficiency try this combo its all I even make now unless its for high end gaming Sempron 140 two.7ghz/ECS780gǘgb pc6400릌gb Caviar Blue WD with this video card you won't be dissapointed performs extremely nicely and at a low cost

I got this card for the sole purpose of enabling my Pc to extend the perform screen across 2 monitors. I had tried 2 NVidia Video Cards but the present workstation Load would trigger the Nvidia drivers to crash the workstation everytime. I still wanted the extra realistate but did not want to have to put out allot of funds either. This Card was the ideal Answer to my dilemma. For just under ฮ this card this card was uncomplicated to install, the Drivers on the CD installed perfectly with no crashes the 1st time, the picture and detail are superb, and most importantly I get the extra realistate for my desktop (The integrated card was not detailed and often difficult to read). This card also has an HDMI port as well; however I am not using it at this time (Just the DVI and VGA ports). This is not a Con just a warning for the individuals who perhaps searching to obtain this card for critical gaming, don't! As other reviewers have noted (and even ATI has stated) this card was by no means meant to be employed for any extensive kind of gaming (Even by way of the box states ŗD graphics for the True Gamer"). This Card is fantastic for a Enterprise/ Property Office atmosphere or even as a Media household entertainment Pc with some occasional passive gaming. This card was in no way meant for the tough core intensive gaming experience that needs high acceleration. Unfortunately you may have to spend a few additional dollars to get this, I would recommend the ATI 5000HD Chipset or higher. Overall, If your looking for a thing to get the job carried out at work or at your Residence Office without spending allot of income this is the card for you, I would Extremely advise it.Computer system Specs:HP Compaq 8100 EliteIntel I5 3.2ghz processor4 GB of DDR3 RAM1 GB NIC (IntergratedƜ.1 Realtek Stero Sound (Intergrated)Intel HD Graphics (Intergrated)ATI 3450 HD Video Card 256mb DDR2160gb⑀gb SATA tough drives8 USB 2. portsWindows XP Expert SP3

It works fine and quite quiet. Enable AMD 760G or higher chipset to allow "Surround View" and Hybrix Crossfire. NONE. I like it so considerably, I purchased an additional 1 just one week later. Its not a hardcore gamer card, so don't get upset if it does not run current games. It serves my purpose just fine spanning across 3 or 4 monitors with IGP.

Installation was straightforward. Crossfire hybrid works, but does absolutely nothing. The on-board GPU, which is sharing memory out performs this devoted card. Manufacturer Response:This card isn't intended to be a speed demon, regardless of regardless of whether you run it in H-CF or not. If you want some thing to give you additional efficiency then you may well want to look into the greater finish 4000, 5000, and 6000 series graphics cards. -Hybrid Crossfire support-VGA/DVI/HDMI out-Low Costྱ.99 right after mail in rebate) none genuinely, อ.99 shipped all the time would be nice. Great card for pairing with a 760,780,785g chipsets that support Hybrid Crossfire. Though Hybrid Crossfire isn't that effective compared to any real Crossfire setup, its nonetheless nice to be able to use your onboard GPU rather of it just sitting dormant. Excellent for Streaming video This card work with Windows 7 in Hybrid Crossfire configs, just install the most recent Catalyst.

Installed very easilyDVI Works as advertised - I haven't attempted the VGA or HDMI outputs ATI Drivers had been uncomfortable to loadHDMI audio driver would not load I purchased this card since I created a stupid mistake in buying my last motherboard. I neglected to assure that the MB had a DVI port. So, after trying to run a 1680 x 150 display from the onboard VGA, it was plain that a video card was required. This card does precisely what I need to have for an office workstation - clear output and incredibly small heat. Passive cooling is best for this application. One egg off for the driver installation.

Bought for a spare old PC i have which is a linux router / web host.I didn't need a very powerful card, so this fit the bill.No fans means it's nice and quiet. The VGA-25DSUB port is garbage though. It's mounted to the bracket and has a ribbon cable to the PCB. I would have liked to see the port soldered to the board directly. What's an extra 2" of PCB to do the job right?
