Cons: Some games seem to dislike it, generally those using PhysX, which leads to poor performance. Example, Darkest of Days, even at minimum would still lag (although it also has to do with the large number of actors and objects on screen). It can, however, get somewhat loud at times, but that's only when under great stress of extended periods of gaming (Warhead would begin to slow down around the 3 hour mark, but it simply took lowering the Motion blur to compensate, an almost unnoticeable change).

Pros: Very powerful card, able to run most games at Extreme settings. For example, I was able to run Crysis Warhead at Enthusiast (Max) no problem. It's large memory as well as fast internal clock leads to short load times, and more gaming.

Overall, I found this to be a very good buy, and would definitely encourage anybody not looking to spend an extra 80$ for similar performance Nvidia Cards. Aside from saving money on the card, most Mobo's that are CrossfireX Ready are also much cheaper than Mobo's for SLI gaming.I hope to buy myself a second one in the near future for a CrossfireX setup.

So I've had this card for awhile, and all I can say about it is good things. The aftermarket cooler from Zerotherm is pretty good, keeping temperatures manageable, and is aesthetically pleasing as well. I've pumped the card's fan to about 63% to maximize cooling efficiency, which is manageable in terms of sound as well. I've run it through 3dmark06 benchmarks, have done Furmark stability tests, and used ATI's own stability test, and it's pretty rock solid. That is, unless you try to shoot for the magical 1000 Mhz core speed, then problems arise despite the different cooler. Overall, though, very good card. Highly recommended, especially with the instant rebate + MIR that's going on now.

Cons: No Crossfire Bridge included

Pros: Well Packaged, DVI Adapters included

Picked up two of these cards, they had the best price, My pref. is "built by ATI" but ATI made cards seem to be harder to find. The cards work well, would like to see a lead from the fan for motherboard fan monitoring the cards run a bit warm. The electronic manual that I downloaded before buying the cards said that the Crossfire Bridge was included, but it was not. NCIX has them $10 each plus extra shipping...

Cons: price

Pros: runs most games full settings

Acquired this card to replace my old 8800gts that died on me. Runs most games full settings no problem right out of the box that my old card couldnt do. The fan is quiet and unnoticeable. Bought on sale with MIR.

Cons: So called custom cooler a joke

Pros: Overclocked 100MHz
Comment:
Bad card in general. Overheated and crashed without overclocking at all. comes overclocked and cant even keep up to its rated speed. Not worth the risk.

Cons: Questionable build quality from Powercolor.

Pros: It's a 4890 so you get what you pay for. Not sure about other positive from this particular card since I've only had it for a day at the moment I wrote this review.
Comment:
So I bought this card and when I took it out from the anti-static bag a screw fell on the floor. It was one of the four screws that retained the heatsink on the card. Not a big deal but it's not assuring when you take out a brand new card and some screw fell off the card. Other than that, the heatsink looks good but I wouldn't buy from Powercolor again.

Cons: No room for OCingLoud? (I don't notice it)Lack luster content (you get what you paid for, and that's all you want)

Pros: Great value!Great cooling!Small profile.Eco friendly boxing.
Comment:
Its a great card, this one replaced my old X1800XT video card aka Ruby. The X1800XT did a mighty fine job holding up for the last 3 years for me. I had to look for a replacement similar to that one. The 4890 series came out and I was excited but dead broke a well.Powercolor came along and with a good price range too. With some high specs on the list, I couldn't resist. There isn't much room to OC on this card but I have put it up to 950MHZ and 4.2GHZ (something like that, running with the ATI overdrive) and the heat stays cool, I'm running ARMA2 at around 70 degrees max which is not bad. The noise level on the fan isnt as bad I use a headset a lot. I paired it up with a AMD Athlon X2 7750 CPU and it does a great job together. I recommend this card for budget builders who dont really look for OCing a card too much. It still does a great job on gaming. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-30-09 11:24 AM
