What more can You ask for for around $30. Replaced my integrated 3200 on my HTPC running W7 and it made a huge difference. Will likely purchase again for another build. |

I got this Video Card to upgrade my old X800-XL, The performance is great and it made the transition to windows 7 from Windows XP much smoother.I use this machine for web browsing and Videos, both standard and High Def.I haven't tried any gaming with the card yet so I can't give my thoughts on that at the moment. |
I wouldn't pay full price for these, but there seems to be always some iteration of these Powercolor 5450 cards (sometimes this displayport version, sometimes the HDMI version) on sale in the 40-something range, plus the rebate bringing it into the 30 or 20-something range. For that price, it makes a decent upgrade to integrated graphics. I've seen some complaints elsewhere they these cards run hot, but they're not out of line with other passive cards, and much better off then a tiny heatsink with a cheap dead-after-2-years fan that I see on a lot of entry level graphics cards - just make sure it has room to breathe.
