Cons: CPU power connector only has four pins. Not needed with the 4th gen Intel! They are very efficient CPU's with marginal room for overclocking anyway!
Pros: Very reliable motherboard with PCI-E 3.0 for high end graphics cards. I like the on board selection for video ports. Ready for crossfire. Having four ram slots is great for upgrading. The motherboard is solid and it works! No gambling here... Comment:
If your not planning to overclock your CPU this will make a nice reliable motherboard for gaming or desktop use. You can overclock your graphics card as much as you want!! There really is no reason to overclock an i5 or i7 and I don't think there will be for a long time.. |

I needed to update my office computer so I bought this motherboard and dropped a Pentium K (G3258) processer into it. After an easy bios update , the installation proceeded perfectly. No, it hasn't got all the top end whistles and bells and I don't like the way the SATA ports sit under the discrete video card, but for $180 all in I got a solid working office machine that I can play with for overclocking some day. Throw an SSD, 8GB of memory, a decent power supply and video card and you can play well for under $1,000. I simply reused older parts. |

Our old system board just went dead so I purchased this board as a combo package with Intel 4430 package $294.98 and worked flawlessly. This will even fit an old Radeon HD5770 dual slot card. Excellent value. Always have been an Asus fan and their product is always reliable! |

Fantastic, stable motherboard. Good selection of Video ports (basically you get everything - DVI, VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI). The DVI sadly isn't dual link (no 2560x1440 or 2560x1600) but both the DP and HDMI ports do support high resolutions.4x RAM slots and 2x 16x PCI-e slots is great, too!Works great in 2 machines I built with them! |

Gaming or overclocking? Hit back on your browser. Let's face it, it's a boring board. But a great choice for business workstations where price and reliability are more of a concern. The CSM (Corporate Stable Model) has a longer support period from ASUS and goes through more compatibility and quality testing - similar idea to the LTS releases of Ubuntu. But unlike most 'business' products, it's actually at a very reasonable price. Overall was a snap to install, no major issues. If you're installing more than 2 drives on this, make sure to have additional SATA cables on hand. This only comes with 2. |

great motherboard and amazing response with a i5-4430. it comes with daemon tools pro on the disk (why advertise a demo), but sadly no cd key. still a great choice if you are putting a pc together it runs cool and has just the right amount of slots for a couple fans |
