I had a 9800 fry on me, well after 4 years. I got this as a quick replacement but I ended up just sticking with it. You would think you need to spend a lot of money to get a gaming system, but that's not always true. I base the ratings, compared to what I paid and what I got. My screen is 1600x900 and together they run anything I throw even at max settings. |

I mainly play MMOs on my machine, and this card runs them flawlessly. I am able to have the game running, as well as watch videos on content in the background simultaneously without so much as a hiccup in performance. Plenty of bang for the buck. Shipping said 3 to 7 days, and I received it the third day after ordering. Variable fan speed is a nice feature over my last card, and I rarely hear it kick into high gear except during start up. Overall value is 5 stars for me. |

Cons: None that I've found. Although the manufacturer website to get the drivers was annoying and confusing, the search for the 9400 drivers kept coming up with something other than the 9400. So I just kept the ones that came with the cd in the box for now.

I'm a gamer, but I'm also on a budget. I wanted to upgrade from my ATI 256mg card with something. This time round I thought I'd try Nvidia. I saw this card was 1gig and the price was great. It's DDR2 which is fine since that's what my mobo takes.This does me for what I want now. When I upgrade my mobo and if I have the money then I'll get some heavy duty cards and cross fire them.For now though I wanted to improve my game performance, and do so on a budget. It suited my needs perfectly for that.I'm happy with my choice. |

I work for the county IT dept. We ordered about 20 of these for our users. To date 5 of these have gone bad. They are less than a year old. The fan motor goes out. The heat sink then gets so hot it melts the two plastic clips holding the heat sink to the processor. As a department we will never buy these again. |

So far, I have no complaints about this card. I haven't thrown too much at it yet, but I've been able to run every game I own with the highest settings with no issues. Also, installation was a breeze. |

Excellent card & you will never beat the quality for the price!! I bought one for a dual core 2.5Ghz barebones system i was building, threw in 4gb's of dual channel ramm & this baby ROCKS!!! I ran Deadspace & Far Cry 2 @ 1152x864 & turned up all the settings to hi & they run perfectly without a hiccup!! I am planning on buying 2 more for builds!! The best $50.00 i ever spent!! |
I am amazed at the performance of this card. The video quality is very good.I am very pleased with my BFG 9400.
