Cons: Doesn't quiet provide the sought after strength
Pros: Price, Outputs Comment:
For the price this card does what it needs to do. I work primarily with Premier and Photoshop, not some much on the gaming and I did notice a slight improvement in the response times in those two applications, however nothing of significance. If I were to re-order, I would look a bit more higher end. Having the various output types is nice as it allows for a second monitor, as well as a connection to a TV. Overall, for what I paid for it, I am satisfied. |

Cons: most likely not the best for gaming. But I do not use it for that.
Pros: Blu Ray play back and high res support. When playing HD and Ble Ray it uses very little CPU resources. Price is right too at $50. Comes with low profile and regular brackets. Comment:
Bought this for my HTPC. HD DVD and BLu Ray were running very slow and using alot of CPU resources. My AMD 3800+ X2 combined with a Geforce 7900 GS KO could not keep up with HD DVD or Blu Ray,very choppy.I tried the integrated Radeon X1250 on board and that did a little better but still not quite smooth.I tried this and my CPU usge went from 90%-100% range down to only 30%-40% range on the same CPU. So I am very happy with his as it does exactly what I wanted it to. The $50 price was deginatley better than having to get another CPU. I gave this a 3/5 because this product probably wasn't meant to be used for HTPC as it does say something about being rated for up to 30" displays. This was meant to be an upgrade over the onboard video I have on my current HTPC setup. But despite all the different ways I tried this card with my Philips 42" LCD HDTV the video signal would cut in and out.I tried a couple power supplies, different refresh rates, drivers, etc.I returned this card and recently purchased Sapphire Radeon HD 4550. Only had it one day but this looks like a winner for HTPC. Will write review after a couple weeks.
