This is really quickly, quite steady and compatible RAM. Don't regret it for a second. Timings are fantastic but not super tight. It's vibrant yellow so keep that in mind when you match components in your case. It's Vital from Newegg, how can you go incorrect?

Strong physical building Did not operate at advertised settings. Was unstable/caused numerous BSOD's when set at 1600, CAS at 8-eight-eight-24, and Voltage at 1.65. IS steady at 1333, CAS at 9, and voltage at 1.59, but that is not what I thought i was receiving. I am making use of ASUS M4A785TD-V motherboard & AMD Athlon II x2 two.8GHz. May perform properly on other motherboards. Either way I am returning this stick for something that is already attempted & correct.

good speed and size for the cost. ordering a second one quickly. obtaining to pay 6 dollars a lot more when you obtain 2 of these over the dual channel pack that newegg has. I updated my 6 year old manchester 939 technique to a contemporary Athlon II, ASRock M3A770DE, and this stick of ram. registered beneath auto at its 1333 setting by default. tabbed it over to 1600 and the board auto set the time to 8-8-eight-24-36-2T and up the voltage to 1.65v for me. The memory has profile so you don't have to manually set almost everything if your board can read it.

Very excellent memory, incredibly stable, clocked at 1600 8-eight-8-24 as advertised, even clocked a small additional as I OC'd the cpu and upped the Northbridge voltage a little, operating at 1680 mhz correct now... It looks attractive in orange! and feels very sturdy. None! I'm gonna purchase an additional 1 of these when i get the income...

Fast and extremely fantastic cost. The replacement Newegg sent worked as it should. Had to RMA the earlier one back to Newegg was DOA but Newegg took care of that rapidly. Considering of getting two more sticks at this value. Just keeps receiving more affordable and more affordable... wish it was this inexpensive when I built my new Computer final year.

This RAM is stable, effectively built, and to an average kinda guy like me UNDERRATED. I want to understand how to tweak my rig to its total potential but for now...finest RAM overall performance i have seasoned to date. Why would I. I envisioned myself attempting to destroy the stick when I installed it. Stess totally free install. Heavy plookin duty. Metal heatsink is extremely secure. This is HOTROD! Mine doesn't configure to the advertised Timing or speed by default on my getup. I like the truth that I can expand upon that which already suits me fine by tweaking BIOS settings

Fantastic price and New Egg RMA method is extremely smooth. New stick really should be on the way by tomorrow. This new stick I ordered failed memtest within 8 minutes had three errors. It was also causing difficulties in Windows and I had to use the recovery console to even get Windows operating again.I didn't bother to even try to run it at lower timings. I already have 1 stick and I'm not going to compromise when this need to operate at 1600 speeds.I even ran this stick by itself in DIMM slot 1 to see possibly if it was a problem with my mobo. I have the timings currently set due to the fact I'm using an additional stick of the similar type. So, I know this is not a fault of the mobo. It failed in DIMM slot 1 as nicely as DIMM slot 2.Quite disappointed that this one was a dud. Despite the fact that this is my initially item ordered out of quite a few that have failed like this. Hopefully the replacement stick is very good, I truly don't want to have to RMA this once more. Not that I'd have a selection, I got this on a New Egg gift card, so I'm kinda stuck till I get a working unit. Also I dunno why this doesn't say I'm a verified owner. It didn't say so on my earlier posts either. Perhaps it has to do with it being a gift card acquire.

And Important is Memory. I have only had 1 Dimm from Critical ever go poor in 20 years. That says something to me. I'll spend the extra Ū-3 and not worry. I have only had as good luck with Corsair. Other vendors, I run away from. BTW, that undesirable Dimm was replaced in no time and it was a lengthy time ago. None. Ever. Crucial or Corsair. Why take a opportunity with such a vital piece of your rig? Otherwise, it's like buying Joe's MB or Frank's CPU.

It's Critical Ballistix. I'm good they would operate on distinct system builds. Not compatible with my create. Continual reboots, BSOD's, Windows error messages. Had to RMA and get DDR3 1333 modules. Installed on ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO mobo running Windows 7 Ultimate, with two of these modules for a total of four GB of RAM. Quite frustrating, given that both ASUS and Critical Internet websites stated they were compatible. Tried auto settings in BIOS and manual settings working with Important's recommended parameters with no solution. Probably one particular of my modules was negative, though I did run memtest86 on them with no errors (did not test the modules individually although, which maybe could have given diverse outcomes.

A DIMM either performs or it doesn't, this 1 operates fine, thus the five stars. I ran sys_basher overnight on it and it passed. I'm operating it on a iCore7 920 overclocked to 4GHz. None

Works as you would anticipate... Doesn't thoughts being overclocked to 2000mhz 1 out of the 4 sticks I purchased was defective.Seems like they sandwich the ram between two pieces of sheet steel. Well one particular of the sheets had a ripple in it that must have brought on the RAM to flex Newegg is in the process of sending me a replacement. They paid for return shipping which was good.

Quick and stable with my MSI 870-G45 mobo. Detected as 1300 but BIOS had X.M.P. (Extreme Memory Profile) listed so I could write those settings down and manually input them. took rated timings with no a hitch! Had to manually input timings and is a bit pricey. But not worth knocking an egg off given that this is excellent top quality RAM and extremely stable.WEI rating dropped from 5.9 to five.five from my old DDR2 mobo employing 533 RAM in dual channel mode with 4-4-four-12 timings. Despite the fact that i'm only utilizing 1 stick of DDR3 on my new board I thought I'd get a higher rating not lower. Although I'm not familiar with how WEI tests the RAM. But I know for certain they are faster employing Everest UE memory benchmark read is 8900+ with a single stick! Old mobo and RAM only got up to 6500+ which was fairly superior for DDR2 533 IMO! Memtested this stick for more than two hours, no faults @ rated speed and timings. Interestingly, I didn't change the CR timing and it auto set to 1T instead of 2T which the RAM is rated at... it ran a bit quicker in 1T mode but I set the timings to 2T due to the fact it's the rated spec and runs rapid anyways! But I assume that shows this RAM has potential to go higher than advertised ratings. @ 1.65 volts these don't put out substantially heat either. Initially time I set these they were still running @ advertised ratings on 1.five volts! I bumped it to the rated 1.65 volts to make sure they'll stay stable while carrying out memory intensive tasks.

Purchased this stick back in Sep. It's nonetheless working excellent. I just bought a different 1. At the present 36.99 price tag with cost-free shipping this is a steal! Other than getting to manually set timings yourself, none. That's not even a genuine Con either considering that any OC stick would default to a lower speed. Newegg rocks! Can't wait for my other stick to show up. My 3D plan will like the additional 2 gigs of RAM!

Works well at the advertised timings. For me, it accepted slightly lower voltage. Wanted 4GB but wanted to maintain this upgrade under 跌. none Wonderful service with Newegg! I was concerned with the delivery date of my upgrade. During checkout, it showed a shorter length of shipping and I trusted that it would arrive on that date and sure enough it did!Upgrade:AMD Athlon II X2 245 MSI 870A-G54Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 1GBCrucial Ballistix 2GB DDR3 1600
