Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300Chip is okay - does what it's supposed to do. Fan and cooler is not that good. The fan is noisy and the cooler is flimsy and hard to attach to mobo. Get a better cooler, and you will need to buy some thermal paste. It doesn't come with any. |

Intel DG45ID MotherboardFinally got around to installing this mobo. Easy to install, easy to setup - install CD worked all on it's own, and rebooted as needed. No issues with any drivers - one of the smoothest driver install ever. Runs nice. Glad I picked this one. |

Intel DG45ID MotherboardI built two sys with this Board Using Windows 7 64 Bit , Both with Q9550 cpu 8 Gigs Ram ( you can go to 16 Gigs ) But who can afford 16 Gigs anyway these sys are ROCK SOLID and for the $ you can't Beat it. Yes 16 Gigs are you guys wrong about the specs?? |

Intel DG45ID MotherboardI replaced a 5 year old Intel 915GLV board with this one. It doesn't have an IDE connector so I couldn't connect my DVD burner but I was due for a new burner anyways! No PS2 mouse or keyboard ports so you'll need to use a USB mouse and keyboard or buy a PS2 to USB splitter like I did and it works great! I received the order quickly and it was easy to install. It fit like a glove. If I had to buy it again I probably wouldn't...I would buy one more ideal for gaming. It's great for HD applications so if you want a home theatre computer get this board! |

Intel DG45ID MotherboardI understand the fact that we have to move on be and be done with PATA (this board does not have an IDE interface) but it also does not have PS2 mouse and keyboard inputs, which was a surprise to me; so be ready to only use SATA and USB devices. |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300The motherboard died on my 2004 emachines computer. I figured the cheapest way to be back up and computing again was to replace the parts, after purchaing this processor, new mother board, RAM, and a new HD for good measure I only spent $240 and I'm also updated from the old 1.3Ghtz athalon processor. I knew this one would be faster but I had no idea. A HD to HD copy and paste that took over 8 hours before now took only 15 minutes!!!! There are many other things I've noticed about how much faster this processor is. Now when they finally come out with faster USB than 2.0 then I'll be in business. This product was right for me. |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300My first time putting a system together and I could not have chosen a better set of items to install (I've replaced single items many times, but never a mobo or CPU). I bought a new XFX mobo and OCZ memory to go along with this PCU and the installation was quick and easy minus a little issue with the hard drive actually working. My system is AWESOME! I purchased the combination of CPU, mobo and RAM for very specific reasons and my expectations were met and exceeded! |

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300Excellent for its range. Fast, runs cool. It was nice to see that it came with the CPU fan and heatsink. The thermal paste wasn't included, but if you looked closely at the heatsink, you'll find that a layer comes pre-laid, just be careful pulling it from the package that you don't damage that layer of paste. |
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300This is the old Pentium D, it's practically 2 Pentium 4's stuck together on one die. It gives very good performance for it's price range these days. It'll be great for your average computer user, heck it'll even do a bit of gaming. It has 2MB of L2 cache so it's no slouch. Overall, solid, great value, mid range CPU. Don't expect it to perform like a Core 2 Duo, that's a totally different animal.
