I used it to install a Samsung 840 SSD in a 3.5" bay and the installation went well. The drive is solidly in place and I have no fear of the tray becoming loose. |

Great item for older PC's that require a bracket or the PSU doesnt have sata connectors.Bought this to go in a repair. The cost of this is much less than buying everything separately (sata cable, power cable, bracket).Will be buying this again if I need to. |

I got this to install two SSD's in a HAF932 case. It fit in there well. The included power cable and sata cord combo is useless though. I can't imagine hwo I would use that. |

Cons: Comes with its own proprietary screws to secure it to your case. The screw holes on the brackets are too narrow and you CANNOT mount this in an Antec 900 or 1200 series cases.
Pros: Fits OCZ Vertex and Summit SSDs and I imagine most other SSDs or 2.5" mechanical HDs. Comment:
I bought 2 of these to tidy up inside my Antec 1200. I put 2 OCZ Vertex drives however I found that the brackets do NOT have standard hard drive mounting holes. Therefore, you cannot use the long screws provided with an Antec 900 or 1200 series case. You cannot screw in these brackets in such cases! I am still using the brackets because my Antec 1200 has drive rails onto which the brackets are simply resting. |

Not much to say about this basic part other than it works and it contains everything you'll need to put a 2.5" drive into a 3.5" bay.Also includes a combo sata + power (molex to sata) cable as a nice extra. |

A cheap inexpensive purchase for a item that basically does what it is supposed to do. I mounted a SSD onto it, then put it in my desktop as if it was a regular 3.5" hard drive, plugged in the provided cables, and boom, its done. Installed XP Pro on it, now it runs fast and boots up faster then it used to boot up from standby! |

I bought this to install an SSD into an iCage in my TT Armor case. I ran into a problem because the rear of the SSD did not sit flush with the other 2 drives below it. Not an issue if you are using straight SATA cables but mine are 90 degree for clearance reasons so I couldn't hook up the drive. Luckily though the mounting holes in the adapter are actully long slots. I attached the SSD to the adapter with only 2 screws so I could have more adjustment and it worked. Overall I give it 4 out of 5. |

I bought this mounting bracket because it was cheap. It's plain steel so okay for a case where you won't see it, otherwise you might need to paint it black. I can't imaging ever needing the SATA to Molex connector, but if installing in an older case/PSU it could come in handy I guess. The mounting holes on the bottom are plentiful so should accommodate just about all drives out there.
