* It's little* It's straightforward to use* You have lots of connection alternatives * Documentation is terrible and doesn't genuinely tell you something it just labels the various connections which if you bought the point you possibly already know which ports are which.* It doesn't give you any facts on how to use it that is essentially helpful. Be ready to do some world wide web data spelunking.* The various LEDs may or could not operate. Didn't in my situation so you have no concept as to how far you have progressed in the cloning approach.* Tested this with two seagate goflex drives and it fried them. It's a good point they were additional drives just laying around and the information was just there for testing purposes. Oh and the goflex drives were dismantled so that instead of working with the mini usb connector/ circuitry I could use the mini SATA interface. Even so it's rather slow on the pickup.* Windows 7 didn't recognize it when hooked to the computer via USB port. Overall it is a item with a lot of possible; on the other hand, the implementation left a lot to be desired. As a property user paying hundreds of dollars for a drive cloning dock is out of the question but at least with them you get informative documentation as effectively as decent help. With this tiny cloning tool be ready to spend a lot of time researching how to use it Before you in fact unpack any drives to be cloned. I decided to take a opportunity due to the fact of the two other evaluations and identified myself somewhere in the middle amongst them. It does operate but it can harm your drives and the documentation doesn't warn you about it. I just lost two genuinely inexpensive pocket drives so no true harm done but if you have an OS drive with crucial info stored therein I very recommend you get a diverse drive cloning product. |

LOOKS GoodCONNECTS EasyNice PACKAGING CLONE Feature DOES NOT Work.DOCUMENTATION Want A LOT OF Function.SUPPORT On the internet MINIMALNeed to have Additional LED LIGHTS TO LET YOU KNOW WHATS GOING ON Incredibly DISAPPOINTED. I Ought to HAVE TRIED THIS OUT First Thing. NOW ITS TO LATE TO RETURN. I DECIDED TO STICK WITH THE OTHER UNIT ON NEWEGG THAT RUNS 189.00.. HOPE THIS One WILL Work. |
Upgrade my new laptop SATA HDD 5400RPM to 7200 RPM and clone the old drive the first time devoid of a problem. Indicator whilst cloning just flashes and stops slowly increments to one hundred%. Would be nice to have a numeric LED with percentile completed. It does show common progression just let it run by means of. Stick to the brief directions following connecting the drives. Click the clone button.. click it again though it's flashing to start out. It will start out to flash and increment. It stops flashing when performed.
