Bought this for my old 757 socket motherboard laying around the house to build a new cheap rig works like a charm.

Cons: Installation of Intel heatsink mounting clips continue to confuse novice techies.

Pros: Don't be fooled by its "Pentium" name: it's a slightly less powerful but a lot less expensive Core 2 Duo E7400
Comment:
Intel's current Core 2 Duo line continues to be a pleasure to worth with, thanks to its high performance and low power consumption. Lower power also means quieter running, making this CPU a great choice for a budget-minded home/business desktop.I paired this with an Asus mATX G43 motherboard and a Sparkly 350W PSU.

Cons: None.

Pros: Fast and cheap.

For the price, this CPU is surprisingly good. Used it in a budget gamer machine for my brother. Matched this up with 2GB DDR-2 800 and a Radeon 4650, runs Dragon age high settings p 1280x1024, as well as WoW. Definately reccomend this CPU.

Cons: Found no weakness for our intended usage.

Pros: Good pricing. VT.
Comment:
Great budget CPU. Runs cool. VY allows for no perf loss using XP VM on Win 7 for any old application. Wife doesn't even realize some of her apps are running on VM.

Cons: Only 1MB of L2 cache is not the best for gaming.

Pros: Affordable Core 2 Duo.
Comment:
Good CPU for less than $100. fast speed and higher BUS make this a good overclocking CPU.VT enabled is a bonus.

Pros: -Price-Fast
Comment:
This was the CPU chosen for my friend's build. He wanted something quick, but not for big bucks. This fit the bill. I was impressed as my machine has an older Core 2 Duo in it and this runs much quicker. This offers much better performance then the Celeron CPUs do and there isn't much of a price difference. Recommended.

Cons: ???

Pros: Zippy moving around windows
Comment:
Havent had this CPU for long, but on WinXP home SP3 (no antivirus yet) the system is downright snappy... I guess the clockspeed accounts for that. Chip runs pretty cool... no real complaints except that IT'S NOT A CORE 2 DUO like the picture shows! You can find stuff on an E6300 C2D on the web, but this isn't it.... Only reason I'm giving it 1 star off is for the confusion.

Cons: Having the same name as the old E6300 may make it difficult to resell in the future

Pros: Very, very overclockable
Comment:
Remember, this is the new E6300, which has a Wolfdale core. It's also very overclockable (running it at 4.0 GHz in one of our systems with a Gigabyte EP45-DS3L motherboard). Included fan is acceptable for regular use, but a better one is recommended for overclocking. Otherwise, good value for the money.

Cons: None.

Pros: Low cost, fast, low temps
Comment:
Used a couple of these recently and have been very impressed with them. They provide a good amount of speed, and still run in the low 30`s with the stock cooler which is very small. Overclocking is pretty good, haven`t had a chance to really push them and probably won`t but so far they take small jumps with ease. Great low cost CPU that performs very well.

Cons: Needs 1.5v at 4 Ghz. Only 2 cores with 2 MB.

Pros: Overclockable to 4 Ghz. Only ~90$.
Comment:
Good cpu to play intensive games like GTA IV. Boot time is reduced. Good for multi-tasks. Performance is incresed over my previous Core 2 Duo E6300.

Cons: Not a Core2Duo

Pros: This is a solid CPU for its price.
Comment:
(Listing Wrong) Intel changed the naming of this processor from a Core2Duo to a Pentium D. It is still a Core2Duo architecture but comes up as Pentium D.

Cons: none at this pricethe days of dual cores wont end soon but you will regret not going with a quad if your into the latest games.

Pros: Amazing chip for the price. It oc's very well.I ran mine comfortably at 2.8 ghz on ddr 800 ram. Not bad!
Comment:
You really cant beat it.I was going to sell mine but im still contemplating keeping it because it was my first CPU I enjoyed using. HahaWould buy it again for a low budget build because it does oc well!

Great purchase for the money. Price is just a little higher than the e5200. It's fast and cool. Works perfectly with my Gigabyte EP43-UD3L.

Pros: AffordableFastHas VT capabilities45nm coresMore Cache than the E5200
Comment:
This CPU is very very fast. It is comparable to my E7200 and will overclock to as high under stock voltage. I had it up to 4.0ghz under stock voltage and it ran very very well. Temps were normal at 60c under full stressed load using a T.R.U.E. Ver affordable chip for the pricepoint, and the best thing about NCIX, the PRICEMATCH! You can not beat this chip, for about $10 more than the E5200, this is your best bet, and is an excelent choice for an intermediate CPU. The value is outstanding! Well done Intel!
