-Good value for this item-Pushed it pretty hard all the way up to 4.09Ghz and its entirely stable =D , this factor OC tends to make a wonderful price range make for a gamming Computer i have virtually never maxed it out and with aftermarket cooler beneath max load it only gets to 66C =D - Cant assume of several but that stock cooler was the most pathetic piece of plastic iv ever seen... i know its less expensive in all but even the i5 gets a substantially greater cooler, i imply how considerably more would it expense with a far better cooler?-Also upset to see that many AMD's have the identical specks for considerably much less but i believe in Intells top quality and consumer care ;) -Mobo MSI H55M-i3 OC to 4.09Ghz-Geforce GTX 465 1G-2 WD Cavalier black-550W PSU

* I bought this processor due to the fact it is 1 of the most effective on the marketplace, which was incredibly significant to me simply because the develop I purchased it for is in a Mini-ITX case with only a 200W energy supply * It has a excellent overall performance to energy usage ratio, which also tends to make it a extremely cool running processor.* This CPU puts out so tiny heat that the included stock cooler actually gives sufficient cooling for when as long as you do not strategy on overclocking. When the room temp is 75F the CPU's stays about; 30-35C when Idle, under 20-40% load 35-50C, and beneath 90-one hundred% load 50-58C with there is no heat buildup( I haven't seen the temp exceed 58C even soon after hours of 90-one hundred% load). * None with the CPU* If you use the stock cooler the thermal paste currently on it is terrible, and I hugely advise scraping it off and employing a great thermal compound like Arctic Silver. * I if you are using this CPU in a normal size case I highly advocate acquiring a good ฤ-ฮ direct touch heat pipe cooler but if you are working with a Mini-ITX case and Motherboard like I am most aftermarket coolers will not fit.I purchased this for use in the Mini-ITX Desktop I built for my sister.Develop Specs:(Build price: 軁 such as shipping and after a ษ rebate)*Windows 7 Premium 64bit*Intel CPU-Core i3 3.06GHz*Mushkin RAM-4GB DDR3 1333 *Radeon video card-HD 4650*Samsung difficult drive-1TB 7200RPM SATA *Lite On CD/DVD Burner*Gigabyte motherboard-Intel H55 Mini ITX *In Win Mini-ITX case and 200W power provide(the cpu and video card advisable at least a 300-500W energy provide but the computer system runs fine with no power problems even when cpu is maxed out and the video card overclocked to 700cc릌mc the laptop only utilizes 100-120W, and idles at about 65W).

Incredibly affordably, excellent at OC'ing, it has genuinely helped speed up my video editing. N/A I can't think this CPU is just above 100 bucks. For what you get, I'd simply pay 20 - 30 bucks much more for it.

no difficulties, as anticipated with Intel, I'm not overclocking this one particular, runs at spec, employing integrated video. required a video card to initially get the system up, due to the motherboard coming preset to use video card alternatively of integrated cpu graphics, but that's a motherboard dilemma, not the cpu.

Operates just good as soon as up and operating. BACKWARDS locking pins on heat sink. Whoever installed the small tabs that lock the heatsink into motherboard place all four in backwards. Initial install got windows up and operating then kept crashing from 1-25min. Soon after spending hours moving in various elements to test method (power supply, ram, video, mouse/keyboard, unhooking add in cards) and was about to return it when i unmounted it to see the heat paste was nevertheless barely spread. Remounted with same difficulty (read manual to make certain). Looked at the style turn the tabs by hand looked how they worked. To install this properly I had to push in the tabs when "Locked" then "Unlock" them to essentially lock in the processor. Runs nice and cool now. Was running at 70-95C when making use of manual set up method. Now installed in "unlocked position temps of 33-45C.And after once again I hate Intel.... If your having heat or unstable OS, check into this as an additional reviewer seemed to have this problem.

Rapidly and low-cost. Simple to over-clock. Operating at 3700 GHz and averaging 40 Celsius. Employed in a HTPC with stock fan. Must have saved a few dollars and gotten the slower two.97 GHz model.

Excellent little processor for most price range primarily based builds. Handles every little thing you can throw at it with literally no hassle. Not as swift as some of the higher i5ǝ cores but nevertheless is quite impressive Stock CPU cooler is generally a blah, replace it & get a thing worthwhile like a thermaltake or a thing...core stayed about 34, a greater cooler can do way much better for certain

Runs cool. I haven't run any real stress tests but with WoW as my benchmark I haven't caught the OEM heat sink/fan let temps get more than 50°c. The stock HSF is quiet at full-bore and virtually silent when turned down to rpm. My intent was to make a HTPC, but I couldn't support do a bit of gaming since the video card I put in it is the 2nd GTX470 out of my i7 rig. As far as gaming is concerned this processor is incredibly capable. I'm sorry I don't have a superior way to quantify its overall performance, but it has played every thing I've attempted remarkably effectively. I've attempted WoW, Batman AA, Battlefield BC2 and GTAIV. The only distinction I saw between this box and my i7-920 rig was with WoW and it was less than a 10FPS difference and only in really, extremely densely populated regions. None at this time. I could say it plays all my M2TS files flawlessly and outputs surround sound like you'd count on, but that's additional an effect of the video card, since I'm working with a single. I will likely by no means use the built-in video capabilities so I'm sorry about not getting a legit opinion about that. I'm starting to feel about promoting my i7 rig and making use of this new create complete time... By the time this generation of i3 is as well obsolete, my i7 will probably only suit me for an additional 6 months anyway. I am very pleased with this processor. Finding a shell-shocker discount with the motherboard I was going to pair it with anyway was just icing on the cake.

very good price tag to functionality value. Overclocks EXTREMLY uncomplicated and appears really forgiving none other than not getting reduced price tag to make even superior of a deal I have this processor overclocked at 3.6Ghz and operating smooth with no challenges gonna wait a small bit longer for a strong break in period prior to we venture to 4Ghz. Running a CoolerMaster CPU cooler and nonetheless extremely cool at one hundred% duty cycle burn in. to get the most of this cpu pair this up with a SSD hd drive. you will have a very peppy program with extremely swift loads and dose not hessitate on something.

Wonderful processor for modest $, fastest I've ever hadIntel graphics are lots good for simple computing demandsPretty low temps No negatives for the processor*fan noise, see under I can't take away points from the processor for this, but the fan/heatsink is noisy. I purchased a second fan pondering the 1st one was a dud. Not so, both have been equally as noisy. It cools ok although, 27-28°C at idle in my program with only a single technique fan for exhaust.

RapidlyCoolLittle stock heat sink which is good for tiny instances.Integrated graphics operate fantastic, even though I only run xbmc Stock heat sink is small so if you want to over clock I would advocate a following market place heat sink. I am using this as a HTPC and so far has run all my movies with no a challenge. It really is almost certainly overkill for just a HTPC. I run XBMC and there is no noticeable stuttering in animations or playing of films. I also use Hulu which runs just as excellent also. This is my first iX CPU and this factor feels significantly heaver than intel core2duo. Have to be the integrated graphics.
