Cons: - None I'm aware of

Pros: - Super fast- Super quiet- Runs very cool. Rarely breaks 40 degrees gaming in 1080P
Comment:
I decided to go with this over an i5 as it was only $309 at the time. Happy with the purchase. At stock my machine is running wicked fast, gaming in 1080P is very smooth (with a 560ti) and it runs VERY cool and quiet.

Cons: -Price

Pros: -Runs cool-Overclocks very well
Comment:
Overclocks very well, I have only had it for a few days but have gotten it stable at 4.8Ghz, and a very respectable temp of 52C under full load on prime 95.No complaints other than i can;t get the drivers for the integrated GPU to install, but not a big deal.

Cons: - mine is only able to reach 4.4 ghz max oc. (although I havent tried to crank it up even higher because I got a problem with my chip at 4.5)

Pros: - stable- great overclock capabilities
Comment:
Intels my favorite when it comes to durability and performance. I purchased this cpu a few monthe ago and I am quite happy about it. It has nice temperature when overclocked with my noctua u-12p. if I had to buy another cpu, I'd go with intel again.

Cons: Nothing with the chip but the heat sink that came with it look kind of cheaply built

Pros: With quad core, it is fast!Low temp!
Comment:
Overall I am very please by this chip. It was the time where I upgrade from a core 2 duo to this baby. I use a lot of graphic programs so I notice the processing speed significantly increased in rendering or video processing. Got it from a bundle deal so it was a very great price for this much power!

Cons: None!

Pros: Top of the line Sandy Bridge!Efficient, Fast and cool temps!Hyperthreading for heavy tasks!
Comment:
Normally I buy AMD CPUs for the better price/performance ratio, but this time I though I would splurge and pick this baby up! This is one high performing chip! I use lots of applications that are heavily threaded so the hyperthreading is what sold me on getting the 2700K over a 2500K or 3750K. I also chose the Sandy instead of the Ivy because of the lower temps! Even better was the price at $300 so I couldn't resist! These Sandy Bridge chips are also great overclockers on air so it'll allow me to have that extra "umph" in the future when I need it!I highly recommend this chip! *Drooling* on my benchmarks!

Cons: ay cheaper than 3770k or 2600k, and I wonder why?

Pros: $299.99 tells me all

Cons: a bit expensive

Pros: hich speed and oc possible
Comment:
A great chip, but barely any better than the 2600K. Hardly worth Intel's bother bringing it out. Why on earth doesn't Intel give us a 4GHz chip?

Cons: - Stock heatsink is not as good as the other heatsink from other brand.

Pros: - Very Fast- Stock heatsink included- Good quality/price
Comment:
I'm very impressed of this processor, it's soo cheap and powerful. I used a coolermaster hyper 212 plus direct heatsink, and it's at 30 degrees Celcius at Idle and 55 degrees Celcius at 100% stressed. I recommended it! This is the best for LGA1155!

Cons: pricestock heatsink

Pros: Fast,fast,fast
Comment:
This is a great CPU,I wish the price can come down a little and Intel should change their stock heat sink, at least to a 212+ comparable one, won't increase their cost too much

Cons: Runs Maybe too hot, Intel should add a custom heat sink for this processor.

Pros: The Fastest Sandy Bridge ProcessorVery stable and runs well even at high temperature.
Comment:
This is one of the best processor and that also I only bought it for 340 dollars which at that time was cheaper then the 2600k, even thought it was on back order, now it at 400 dollars. I'm grateful that I bought this processor at that price. Because it was cheaper then the 2600k. The only bad thing is that it runs slightly too hot over 80 degrees one time. I hope Intel adds new heat sinks to there up coming ivy bridge.

Cons: - Not a dedicated CPU revision over the 2600K.- Runs hot (70C d 100% load, room temp d 25, stock frequency), but my Zalman CNPS9700 begins to be old for such a high performance CPU with high TDP. It was performing better on my old E8400 65w TDP.

Pros: - Amazing speed.- 8 threads to process even more quickly.- Simply ... amazing !
Comment:
Wow! What a nice processing unit. Installed on an Asus P8P67 WS Revolution workstation mainboard, it is simply incredible. I was running on an "old" Core 2 Duo E8400 overclocked before passing to Sandy Bridge. I'm now using the 2700K in a workstation PC and it does whatever you ask it in amazing times. Really, it has outstanding processing performance. BOINC loves it, using all cores and threads at 100% 24h/7. I haven't overclocked it yet beacause I really don't need more perofrmance right now. Very good to run electrical engineering softwares too. Everything runs smooth. If you want the best processor at a reasonable price (sub-400$), you want the Intel Core i7 2700K.
