Pros: PriceIvy bridgeGood cache (6mb)
Comment:
You cant go wrong with this cpu. The only thin, you must have Z77 mobo. For me the 2500k do the job too.

Cons: HD 2500 graphics onboard is rated poorly and not for gameplay like BF3.

Pros: Intel 22nm cpu can give me 1600 Mhz DDR3 support.TDP of 77 Watts keeps things cooler than SB 95 watts.
Comment:
The lower TDP of this cpu over SB cpu was attractive. Plays the games that I like satisfactorily with a discrete video card.

Cons: - Can't really OC because It's not "K"

Pros: - Price- Performance- Cool/Quiet

I've only tried Intel CPU but never had any reason to go to AMD so I've decided to go with Intel again for my new build. Great CPU no problems so far!+1!

Cons: Not much room to overclock

Pros: Excellent price for performance.
Comment:
Along with an Asus 7850, this processor can easily run any game I throw at it at max settings. Only issue is that overclocking is locked, so if you want to overclock get an i5-3750k for a bit more. Otherwise, this is an excellent processor for gaming.

Good sub-$200 Quad Ivy Bridge CPU. Provides snappy/fast/quick responsiveness, even once all programs and games and drivers and what-not are installed. Zero negative issues. Cools easily (using Corsair H60).Very satisfied.

Bought this processor to give the wife's gaming computer a second life (Up from a dual core Athlon). She seems very happy with it.

Easy to install and so far has outperformed the previous Intel CPUs for home office type applications.

Cons: none.

Pros: great price, low wattage
Comment:
I am using this CPU for a home server. It is probably excessive, but the system draws less than 40w at idle which is amazing. Integrated graphics may not be the best for gaming, but for general use they are fine at 1080p.

Pros: Ivy bridge, integrated graphics, not heating too much.

Bought it to heavy home usage, no gaming though. Works perfectly fine, can even OC it if I want. Fan is quiet.

Cons: - fan can get a bit loud under heavy loads

Pros: - keeps good constant temps- stable at 3.1 and 3.4Ghz- integrated graphics get the job done well if not into the latest and greatest games- Quad core
Comment:
Not much to say about this new Ivy bridge design except that intel keeps upping the bar. the processor can now handle higher frequency ram than the Sandy bridge and has a bigger integrated video graphics processor.check the online reviews. Bang for the buck, this is a very very good quad core mid-range processor. Intel has hit a home run with their iCore tech and are holding well on top for a few years now compared to their counterpart AMD.Also, why go for the 3570k when this processor can turbo clock to 3.4Ghz!I do plan on buying a dedicated graphics card but for the moment the integrated solution is working out quite well. it has Dx11 support and I'm playing Fallout New Vegas in HD with medium to low detail settings. its not amazing but again, it does the trick for the moment.
