Cons: None.

Pros: Whisper quiet, super fast, easy fan installation, free sticker.
Comment:
Got 4 of these and mounted them on an ASUS B85M-E/CSM board. Combined with an SSD drive, these are SUPER quiet configurations. If the case lights weren't on, it'd be hard to tell if the computer is running. Much needed performance upgrade for our designer workstations :)

Cons: Stock Cooler

Pros: Performance, Price isn't too bad.
Comment:
Bought this to replace my Q6600 that served me for 5 years. Had to upgrade because I found out my motherboard only had PCI-E 1.1 running a GTX660 Ti (noob). Stock block cooler is retarded (need at least heatpipes). You can't cool an i7 using that. Bought an H60 with exhaust config. Temperatures were really high (idle high 30's, full load mid 80's). Then reinstalled H60 to intake config and temperatures were drastically lowered (idle high 20's, full load mid 60's). If your CPU runs hot, check if you made the same mistake I did. Now it runs cool. Push seems to have more effect than Pull on radiator coolers (but my wife's phenom has pull exhaust config on an H40 and it has lots of pressure /shrug).

Cons: - High heat production- Stock cooler is garbage

Pros: - Hyper-threaded- Moderate power consumption- Excellent capacity for handling multiple tasks

My reliable old rig was starting to show her age, and I wanted a complete upgrade. I went from a Core2Quad Q6600 2.4ghz to this, and have been very impressed at just how big an improvement it really was. Unfortunately these Haswells seem to make quite a bit of heat as CPU usage increases; My Sabertooth motherboards software included Thermal Radar 2, which allows me to monitor and fine tune my system temps and fan speeds. This software also has a thermal assessment test, in which it records temperatures with the system unloaded and then ramps the system to 100% and monitors that as well. With the stock cooler I would hit 95% in under 15 seconds..not good..Although I suppose it is no big deal for the average user, because actually -getting- this CPU to where it's running at 100% would be very difficult. The highest I've seen mine run is just under 50%; and to do this I was burning a DVD, unpacking a RAR archive, had 3 webpages open, was in the process of downloading several files, running FRAPS -and- gaming on top of all that. But honestly, for 320$+ Intel really could include a better stock cooler instead of the garbage they gave me, which by the way was almost identical to the stock cooler on my 7ish year old Core2Quad. Long story short, I replaced it with a Corsair Hydro H90, idle temps now around 21c and at full load I never even get to 60c, very very acceptable.

Cons: None!

Pros: Intel, Fast, Quad Core with Hyperthreading, cool operations
Comment:
I've always been impressed with Intel products and this is no different. I have been using for the past 6 years my Intel Core2 Quad 6600. It was such a great processor and but always meant to upgrade but never did. Finally upgraded to the LGA1150 4th gen Haswell and boy what an improvement. Stable, fast, efficient, and way cooler than the Q6600 and I was blown away by the Q6600. processor was easy to install and is stable to a T. No problems and no complaints! def. recommended!

Cons: None

Pros: FastLow tempIntel VT-d support
Comment:
Upgraded from Phenom II X2 550 to this beast. Needless to say, there's no comparison. Opted for the non-K version because of VT-d support. Paired with Asus Q87M-E motherboard. No complaints. Not interested in overclocking. Impressive temperatures at load. CPU scoring >10k on PerformanceTest Suite from cpubenchmark.net. Simply loving it. If you're upgrading, pay extra, get this beast (K flavor if you want to overclock) and get real performance.
