I have an Antec case with a bottom mounted PSU, which meant my 8-pin connector had to take an awkward route over prime of my video card to reach its connector on the motherboard rather of using the case's cable organization space behind the motherboard tray. This cable is exactly what the physician ordered and just the correct quantity of length. And it's versatile; it could step in as an adapter if want be.The cable is nicely sleeved and each connections are secure. The connectors didn't give me any fuss. The margins on extensions and adapters and specialty do-dads like this have to be excellent! Grumble grumble. Oh nicely, it's nonetheless just a couple of bucks. The inside of my case appears nice and neat now. Apartment is still a mess.

The sleeving is a good touch. Does what it's supposed to. Unless I wasn't understanding the instructions on the piece of paper it came with, there is no way to essentially lock the two separate connectors collectively on either finish. This tends to make it incredibly challenging to plug in when the 8-pin connector is in a far corner and surrounded by heatsinks. Also, the white end kept coming unplugged from the PSU eight-pin connector since there's no way to lock it on, so I ended up getting to use tape to hold the two pieces together. I would attempt to come across one more extension/converter cable to use unless you only want to extend 4-pin to four-pin.

The cable can be configured for distinct 4 and 8 pin energy demands. I wasn't confident exactly what configuration I was going to need to have, so this allowed me to cover a number of alternatives. The cable is nicely wrapped and all connections fit effectively. I utilized it for a straight 8-pin extension. When the two four pin connectors have locking tabs, the tabs are positioned so the 8 pin locking wedge fits in between them. A quick tape wrap and it was excellent to go. Extending the four-pin locking tabs on the plug's interior side appears a doable factor and desirable since the cable is meant to function as a 8 to eight connector.

Specifically the quantity of length I needed to attain. Sleeved cable matches my power supply cables. I had to use tape for the 8pin connection. The clips don't match up. Purchase it, performs perfect.

This cable is Amazing! The greatest cable there's ever been! It's solid gold! It cures exotic illnesses! You may shed close friends more than this. This is a excellent piece of hardware if, like I did, you have trouble generating the ATX energy cable on your PSU reach the suitable socket, what with heat sinks and points in the way.

Does what it is created to do!! none Required this to extend the 8 pin mobo cable of a Mushkin 580watt Modular PSU, bottom mounted in a Antec 900 case. I ran the 2 main power cables (along with all of the other connectors) out the side and up back into the case for some uncomplicated cable management

Did exactly what it was supposed to! Mesh on the cable matched the look of the other cables from my power supply. Didn't come with my case. I have an Antec Twelve hundred case with a Corsair 850TX PSU and ASRock X58 Extreme mobo. In order to run the cable behind the motherboard using the supply cable management holes in the case, I needed an extension to reach the eight-pin power plug in the leading left corner. This did the trick perfectly.

The cable does its job, a lot of length for bottom mounted PSU circumstances (I use the Antec 1200). The plastic snaps are affordable, and mine broke (also broke on my 24 Pin extension from the identical brand). Nevertheless, they nevertheless connect, and does the job. Just be aware/careful when trying to snap them together. It's a cable, what you'd expect? =)Antec 1200 w/ Corsair HX850W

-good excellent-has so quite a few conversion alternatives-does its job well -packaging was low cost, just a plastic bag, got a bit crushing in shipment, package was torn slightly, caused a bit of a single of the ends to crack, nevertheless usable tho -shorter than I imagined, but thats my fault, should have actually measured than eye'ing it. -other evaluations mentioned that it would slip off, ive had no such problem.

Wires and connectors are decent quality. Cables are sheathed to appear good. Added inches makes it possible for for neater cable routing. Didn't function with a P6T and Corsair 850 for some reason. I consider it has to do with the added wires on 1 side so you can use this as a four pin to 8 pin adapter. Have to consume the loss simply because it's not worth shipping back. My pc worked just before I installed this. It wouldn't turn on immediately after I connected it. Took it out and it began suitable up. Oh nicely, I'll have to order one of the naked versions.

Effortless to connect n/a I employed this to extend the CPU power cable from my Zalman power provide which is bottom mounted in my P183 case. This enabled me to thread the power cable up the back of the case rather of winding it via the most important compartment. This absolutely helped me strengthen airflow and produced the case far neater.
