Extremely functional, volume controls above nun pad and LED on off to turn off red back lite. Space bar has a slight annoying sound to it. Nearly sounds as if it wants graphite in there.. The Keyboard is still new and I'm confident just needs to be broken in. It appears good and forms nicely. the red LED looks good and It complements the Coller Master HAF X 946 case properly.

Illuminated keys that you can read in the dark! Firm, but not loud key clicks. Beefy design and style (for a keybord anyway). Potential to easily change the keyboard illumination and Pc volume from the keyboard (just above quantity pad). wasn't totally free? But seriously, I consider it is ever so slighly more than priced for a keyboard. That withstanding... I already ordered 2 and next week will in all probability order a 3rd for the property. I have an older Saitek keyboard (ӱyears old) that has an identicle layout and general design. The major distinction being the old one did not have laser etched keys. If I could, I would order replacement keys for it. They make a wonderful product.

Wonderful Feel... I previously owned the ECLIPSE by Saitek and that one particular is nonetheless operating but gave to my mother. Now I have this and I like Saitek keyboards!... This 1 ROCKS... and My mom says her Saitek ROCKS also! ONLY Saitek Keyboards in my property... Nothing at all Else Compares... I like the KEYS... Not CLICKY at all...but also not also soft either...Ideal in my book. Doesn't make a excellent conversation piece with women. Saitek is a good business... They make fantastic stuff also!

Nice Really feel. Backlit keyboard with 2 intensities. Programmable function keys. Expected a BIOS tweak (disabled typeamatic) and driver installation on my Vista x64 technique to function properly. Out of the box the keyboard would kick into typeamatic mode 250ms following the typing my last character. Typeamatic now operates effectively even even though it's disabled in the BIOS (driver ought to be handling that function). I'm not a gamer nor do I need a programmable keyboard. I was just seeking for a excellent keyboard with backlighting. It's annoying that this keyboard doesn't just plug n play to right functionality appropriate out of the box. If you're a gamer this could be your keyboard, but if you're just looking for a plug n play backlit keyboard without the hassle of driver installation and BIOS tweaks, look elsewhere. Don't get me incorrect, it's a very good keyboard, but I docked it one egg due to the setup hassle.

It is solid. The backlighting's settings are uncomplicated and mold around my needs. A few far more keys may possibly justify this item being over twenty dollars. It just about lost an egg but the backlighting is also cool.

-Adjustable backlit keys (Hi/Low/Off)-Typical keyboard layout and shape-Really simple, no-nonsense. Enterprise-like-ADJUSTABLE wrist rest (Flush/Near/Far)-No computer software to set up-Non-ghosting keys -Backlight and volume keys are not backlit -incredibly odd, but not not a showstopper-Wrist rest shape (at initially, but still strange) This keyboard is fantastic. I am not a huge gamer, so I can't comment on the non-ghosting key high quality. I just enjoy the straight forward, no frills method of this keyboard. It seems like the great HP keyboard that comes with their workstations; nothing at all flashy, but incredibly usable and well created. I snapped the wrist rest on, and believed the little dip in the center was a strange design selection. When you type, your wrists are at different heights. THEN, I realized that you can pull it out! This changes every thing! For me, when I pull it out to its farthest point, my wrists lie on evenly on it; I have small hands although... Good stuff

Lights up. Soft keys. Quiet. Decent value. Quality Control. Red only, a switch to make it Red or Blue would be cool. Had to RMA the very first a single mainly because the numlock light didn't function appropriately. It would remain off or flicker. Replacement appears fine, but adding the price tag to ship back to newegg and the keyboard is much less appealing.

Awesome style-black body with silver lettering and red illumination is just sickMatches my Cosmos S Tower :)Extremely comfortableReally quit keys, almost silent when typing as opposed to the Lycos which is why I returned that a single and saved ุ and purchased this Nice spacing in between keys I will admitt the illumination could be a bit brighter, but it is a wonderful color, deep blood red, just what you want, in contrast to the G15 which is additional orange than red, glad I created this buy could not have made a better selection

3 levels of red backlighting all through the keyboard, the lights shine by way of the keys for eaxtra vision of keys, palmrest has two settings and is also removable, amazing light keyboard with rubber feet so it doesnt slip, quick reaction to the laptop games i play (DarkFall, Combat Arms, and HEATOnline) wich are rpgmmo, fps, and racing games, verycheap for its high quality cord isnt rope woven so will short if moved alot...sadly goes in a great combo with the Razer Naga molten edition from newegg.com (here) for ๠

*Amazing Backlighting System*Backlight Dimming Button*Looks Wonderful*One of a Sort *No Programmable Media Keys Who utilizes Media keys religiously anyways? I located this exact keyboard at a store for about บ much more than listed here at newegg but it was worth every penny. This bought with a Red and black Laser Mouse compliments my Laptop System: Rosewill Challenger with Red LED Fan on Front and Back plus internal LED lighting. You wont find another keyboard with a backlight program like this one extremely very easily or as fairly priced either.

i've been lookin for this keyboard for a even though now... i was worried that it would be also bright or not adequate... it great.. the red reminds me of the red back-lit keys on my old audi A6... uncomplicated on the eyes... umm see below the rear tabs could be a bit taller or thicker to give the keyboard a lil far more of an angle... but that's my typing preference i guess.. so it can't be a con...

Feels quite sturdy. The "X" shape design gives it a quite solid base so for gaming you don't have to be concerned about the feeling it is "sliding around."Lights are perfect . Enables you to see buttons clearly. Keys are quite responsive. I was in the market for a LYCOSA by Razer but the testimonials have been spotty and the price tag didn't aid its case substantially. I am enjoying playing WoW with this. None at the moment. I would gladly pay an additional ŭ-10 to have Saitek sell these with a braided cord. Just a believed because this thing could last forever.

It lights up!!! what else can you ask for? It doesn't have 1 of those super action gaming pads off on the side, which is fine mainly because I don't like that type of stuff. I wanted a excellent keyboard in which I could use in both small business applications and gaming applications. The keys feel wonderful and I can move around the board with out hunting. When I do look, it's good to have the light shining via the keys. I am absolutely satisfied with this keyboard. I also like the volume control above the numberpad. none so far.

The backlit keys were the main promoting point for me. Anti ghosting keys are also quite valuable for specific games. Feels sturdy not cheap like numerous keyboards. For the โ+ value point the lack of any actual additional attributes is kind of disappointing. A couple of a lot more media keys would have been nice. Perhaps some actual programmable buttons. None of this has truly stopped me from completely enjoying this keyboard although. If you can get this on sale this is surely a should purchase. At the present cost its at proper now, I'd propose shelling out a couple of further dollars for a much more function wealthy keyboard.

Good backlighting, but could be a bit brighter. Has a fair quantity of heft and appears properly built. Keys are spaced, at least for me, in a manner that feels comfortable when typing or game playing. The paint on the "Laser Etched Keys" is on the outside of the keys! If you play RPG or FPS games on a standard basis count on the WASD and other people wearing down to the point that you can not read them within 3-four months. They call this a "Game" keyboard, but there is nothing about this that tends to make it game distinct. It's really nothing at all but a black regular keyboard with volume controls and back lighting. Not worth it. You'd be much better off paying 5 occasions much less and finding an old school fundamental black keyboard rather than shelling out the large bucks for red-lights. This looks just the old Saitek Eclipse Red Edition with another name. Not confident if Saitek got bought out or are just attempting to make a swift buck on old stock...

back light is great,so cooool~and the brightness can be adjusted~~non ghosting~~ maybe for some guys ~more additional media buttons are essential~but for me ~volume adjusting and mute buttons are rather adequate~actually i dont need so numerous stupid media buttons such like "forward" and "back" for scanning on web which have been included by my mouse~ I have not created a true test of its sensitivity in games particularly racing games~I"ll renew the comments later

Quiet, quick/responsive, supports chordal typing (simultaneously pressed keys are returned in left-to-ideal order, so you can speed-type words like "wet" in one motion), good texture to keys, ... feels nice. None. I'm fussy about keyboards, and this is one of the handful of that tends to make me content inside :).
