I bought this for a friend for snowboarding videos and it works great, good quality video I was surprised we even used it for normal house hold video (kids birthday party) and it is very good quality, it seems very tough and works as it says. no problems with it at all. |
Good enough for youtube videos, sturdy, many types of mounting accessories widely available. I threw the camera in a bag with other stuff, and was pretty surprised the second day finding the lens cover on the housing unit was scratched already. So the camera is water-proof, shock-proof, but not scratch proof. Luckily the lens replacement kit was pretty cheap, $20 for two sets down in the U.S.
