Cons: none

Pros: Fairly bright, comes out brighter in pictures.Does exactly what its supposed to.
Comment:
Works exactly as supposed to, distances isn't too far though, but expected in a tube style and having 2 tubes helps alot. isn't overwhelmingly bright so doesn't take away from look of uv activated objects. switched so you can turn on and off. easily sleeved. A black light is a lamp that emits long-wave UVA radiation and little visible light, so not too bad for you.

I have each of these installed and running with no any troubles. They appear fantastic. Not a dominating light like the non UV offerings. None but. Hopefully they last for the rated lifespan. I'd like to see Newegg carry some 8 inch CC kits as effectively as one thing in addition to Logisys. Possibly get some A.C. Ryan kits in stock.

affordable, UV, not broken on arrival Died immediately after a couple of months. Not worth RMA-ing, shipping would be additional pricey, and they were mildly valuable, but not worth a different look. Not as bright as far more high-priced pairs, and I got what I paid for - not substantially. I Would probably invest a bit additional the subsequent time. I have a pair that cost 3 time this quantity and nevertheless have them operating... On the other hand I had purchased two pairs for seperate projects and one particular of them has failed also...

Good light. operates like expected The quantity of conections can make a case cluttered. Given that there is a box why not simply make swapable connections. Doesn't appear seriously vibrant to me.

They admit a UV light which is neat for the UV reactive water cooling stuff. Absolutely not bright enough to be efficient in the course of the day, but they glow adequate to perform excellent at evening. For Ů I'm not going to complain! Not as vibrant as I hoped, but as I stated not going to complain for the cost

high UV output, stays cool ballast wants to be hidden for a clean set up, wires are a little brief, and no UV reactive sheathing on the cables you may possibly want to look around for a UV kit with UV reactive cable sheaths

These are 12" extended with squared ends with ample location to place the incorporated velcro for mounting. Power cables with ample length lead to a converter box (ӭ.5"x3"x1") with included velcro and a molex plug end with about 4" of lead. Mounting flexibility abounds. For UVs, these are on the bright side. Compared to a typical LED, these are barely visible on their personal. Used four sticks total in a build, lights up UV reactive materials in the case (Aspire X-Dreamer) magnificently! Wish it lit up the mobo lettering, and you'll discover unique factors react differently. Get a yellow or green sharpie highlighter and go and paint several edges in your case, you'll be astounded at how cool it looks.

Properly produced and Incredibly easy to install, not to mention they barely heat up compared to common blacklights. If you have any UV reactive components then you must purchase this item. Can't. Appear. AWAY. Somewhat tough to match far more than one bulb into my Antec 902 without having taking out the motherboard. Even so, 1 bulb still delivers the desired effect so my laziness netted me a spare. Yay me.

Really uncomplicated to perform with, remain cool, compact, glow seriously nice, and not blinding :) none "glow radius" is just a handful of inches but still put off enough light beyond that to illuminate the inside of a full atx case. Cables from the light to the converter could be a little longer.

Good stuff. Lights are bright, cables are lengthy enough for my Antec 900. Inverter is a bit on the shady side of quality, but performs.

These cathodes make stuff glow. When you use an acrylic case, the effects are actually eyecatching. Wonderful for those who like bling when on-line banking and watching videos of cats playing the piano on the Online. I have 4 of these babies. On every single set, one particular glows considerably much more proficiently than the other. The weaker on ultimately warms up a tiny and improves, but there is often a noticable difference. I want the cables on the cathodes have been longer.I wish molex connections had been 3 pin rather, but now I'm just speaking plain crazy stuff. I've noticed additional high priced UV cathodes on other web-sites that claim to double the UV output, but these do just fine for half the value.

Installed very simply. Black light impact appears excellent on Ultraviolet sensitive colors and motherboard. A single of the bars was dim at first but corrected itself in a handful of minutes. This is not a Vibrant Cold Cathode folks. It is supposed to accent UV sensitive colors. If you just want vibrant colour output, just obtain a regular cathode.

These issues rock. High UV output, tends to make every little thing that reacts to UV about it light up. My motherboard has some UV reactive ports on it (Orange and Yellow) and the appear fantastic! Keep in mind that these are UV and not "purple" even even though they look purple. Challenging to place them in a microATX box. Why do birds have wings, but monkeys don't? Hey, this IS the other thoughts section.

It performs, It looks good These issues are NOT bright. I repeat, they are NOT bright. Do not listen to other critiques that say they are. They have to be in an airtight, No windowed, Bulbless space. Even at night when i have everything in my space turned off, Blinds closed, The entire nine, These items still barely light up my Pc. Dont get me incorrect, These issues are fantastic. They are just blacklights. Consider this, Normal blacklights are a lot bigger than this. They can place out additional light. These things are as big about as a pen. They dont give off a ton of light. They are nonetheless a wonderful value for the dollars and make your case look a lot cooler in dark situations. :)

I put these in a clear UV reactive case HTPC and they make it glow nicely. Impresses my buddies. Can be annoying when watching films in a dark room. Switch can be a pain to attain. I reduce off the switch and installed an IR sensor from Simerec that they modded for me to just handle the light so my universal remote can turn them on and off as I want from the comfort of my chair. I'm attempting to assume of another way to install a different one particular of these.

Incredibly basic to use, comes with every little thing you need to mount or stick in your case. The neon tubes are decently durable, I had to slightly bend one particular into my case and it stood up to the stress. The cathode tubes emit a decent quantity of UV, nothing at all like a Real UV tube, but it gets the job accomplished (in a tiny region) The velcro is not low cost, or tough to operate with, you just have to get it suitable the first time, no second possibilities or just get a new piece and try once more. It looks to be manufactured faily low-cost, but then again, appear at the cost, it is cheap. Also the Inverter is type of bulky and doesn't glow (like you believe it would due to the fact it comes with UV tubes) Wonderful obtain, would do it once more.

UV, True UV. Lights up my area, Objects i believed would be out of variety are glowing. Price. comes with Velcrostuff. (might will need to take a look inside your box, i was like "where's my velcrostuff that i'm not going to use?" & it was stuck inside the box & i had to use one particular of the cold cathodes to fish it out. Cold-cathodes are great. if you don't like the pci on-off switch, just rip out the wires &wire nut them or one thing. that's what i did with my old ones(identical, but idk who produced them, they have been a free present from !Xoxide about 52 years ago, after i purchased an assload of fans from them. These are Economical, GRADE-A UV lights, which make the uv reactive cables &other stuff glow brilliantly. Great to play with if they ever break, &easy to repair(unless maybe you go over the 30000 hour lifetime, then idk) wonderful for burning holes in really hard drive platters, beginning fires, making awkwardly brief-wired 'lightsabers'.. & lighting up your case. or place them on your wall, they're 1337! wires are brief but they generally are. you COULD fix that but you far better insulate the wires quite properly if you attempt since they're operating 680v at whatever present that is fantastic for burning you, and even better for frying anything electronic. so don't get it too close to your mobo, videocard, hard drive, and so forth. incase a wire burns via. The only con is brief wires, but all cold cathodes have short wires. as well brief to attain where i want safely anyway. if they break they are both hazardous and fun. with a single wire missing, it can run and appear great, proximity sensitive, the light follows you.. Pick the wrong wire and it just wont function. I know this simply because i have some old blue ones, one particular wire burnt up one particular day, i've taken the light out of the tube and soldered a new wire on, but def. don't trust that 1 inside my case. case has way too many lights anyway. one con: short wires, which aren't quite safe to extend. another point about COLD cathodes: they're not truly COLD. Due to the fact my case window is not facing me anyway, and i don't use my uv reactive cables, i decided to run these on a separate energy provide outdoors my case, exactly where they give light for some plants, although also lighting up my space at night, and creating stuff glow. Glow sticks are uv reactive even just before being activated, and following getting spent. just a tip incase you are hunting for some wireless lighting to go with your UVcc's. they are fun to play with, you study items, like dollars, social safety cards, and other everyday things are UV reactive. obtain 1,000,000 of them and build a giant tanning bed/room thing. ok not so certain you can get a tan off these, but if you have like 7M to blow, go for it.
