I purchased this printer for business/school printing. It performs both these tasks very well. It is great for printing black and white (obviously), but also reproduces colour slides, spreadsheets, and other such documents nicely. It is by no means a photo printer, but in the $300-400 range, you don't expect that. The installation of this device is fairly straight forward. Connect it to the network router (at least in my case), put the CD in the drive of the network PCs (Vista and/or XP), and install. It's easy to setup the printer as DHCP or static, and overall, the whole setup took maybe 15 minutes.The multifunction capabilities work nicely. It prints over the network quickly, it copies fast, and it makes nice scans. I also enjoy the scan-direct-to-USB feature it offers.Overall, I would say I am pleased with this product, and would recommend it for someone looking for a home business printing solution, or for a student who has $300-400 kicking around.
