Easy instructions but quite simple to set up even with moderate Pc practical experience. Enough cables for Anything you will ever put in your system. Becoming modular actually created cable clutter straightforward. I only had 1 Con and thats corsair didnt think ahead on the cable length. I have the Corsair Obsidian Series 800D case and the CPU cable didnt attain and in all the cables that came with it there was no extentions for it. Just some thing you need to retain in mind if you are working with this PSU with a larger case. |

Come on ... it's a power supply, ruh, ruh, ruh. Lot's of cables/choices. Tiny more than-kill for my program. Quiet. Enough juice left over for upgrades. Have to push challenging to get the connectors to lock in...but that is better than becoming flimsy like some other folks. Certainly amazing item. Something I've built requiring far more than the common 650w provide, I've got straight to the Corsair 1000w. Modular = use only what you will need and no clutter inside the case with extra cables to be tied up.Runs quiet and cool. This is my second CMPSU-1000HX. The initially a single died although the pc sat idling and no one was working with it. I've in no way observed that occur prior to...and I've been through some energy supplies with all the custom builds I've done.Not a problem for me but it's a substantial psu. I gave it 4 eggs due to the fact I know inside that the initially a single was a fluke...or at least I'm hoping so. Corsair assistance was swift and expert. It gave up the ghost on very first power-up, but it didn't take something else with it.Being a knothead, I didn't take the 5 minutes that I should have to test it prior to installation. I had to RMA it back to NewEgg and pay for shipping back to them, affirming UPS's small business justification for kicking every box ahead of delivering it to the consumer. (Just kidding. Not as well a lot, it worked for a day just fine. Modular functionality is easy to access and the cables are simple to operate with (cable management sensible). Does not final. Worked for 1 day, right after that it burnt out filling my modest area with smoke (and the residence) and I'm not certain if it brought on any other damage. Now the pc will not boot what so ever.
