* Nice hunting, quiet, good specs, lots of connections * Arrived in shrink wrap but seals on inner box have been broken* იV ran between 10 and 11 V and was unstable. Motherboard would frequently shut down when its undervoltage protection kicked in. * At this cost, quite a few competitors have at least a handful of modular cables to lower case clutter. My knowledge mirrors that of yet another reviewer about a month ago. I don't know whether or not his unit created its way to me devoid of repair or this is a chronic problem for Corsair. Neither possibility looks great. RMAed this one and opted for a unique brand. Manufacturer Response:Please make contact with either Corsair and/or Newegg so that we can follow up on your case. It is imperative to notify Newegg when you get "new" merchandise that is not effectively factory sealed. We are sorry you had this situation.External Link(s): Corsair Speak to Page|

1. Beautifully packaged with a nice (all-be-it useless) carrying bag produced from a nice microfiber bearing the Corsair emblem, A corsair badge for your case, all crucial cable ties for management, and numerous adapters to suit your wants.two. Sleeving on the cables is leading-notch and appears to be incredibly resilient and has a good appear to it.3. 80 Plus rated4. Far more hookups than you could shake a stick at. Go ahead, attempt it.five. Dedicated 12v Single rail.six. QUIET fan. And I mean quiet, man.7. Much more than enough juice to run my rig.eight. PSU cables will reach just about every nook and cranny of my massive case.9. Not modular, but i knew that ahead of acquiring it. Plus I use a HAF 932 case, so I have lots of room to hide dreadlocks with no looking cluttered. If you're getting a mid-tower, you might want to look into some thing modular. The HX series would be your ticket if you want to stick with this brand. Still no real cons however.... and im a nit-picker and really hard to please. Plenty of connectors, nice braided cable coverings. Not seriously a con, but lots of connectors Possibly a bit overkill for my system, but I really like it so far!Q6600 ʂ.4ghz OC'd three.0ghzMSI P43-C51 MoboG.Ability Ripjaw series DDR3 1333MSI GTX560ti Twin FrozrCorsair TX850 v2

Great PSU overall. Plenty of cables, great length, and wonderfully sleeved. And it comes with Corsair's fantastic service and five year warranty 8 pin CPU power was almost also brief for my 800D. Ironic since Corsair tends to make the 800D. Just get it and be happy.

All cables exactly where lengthy and covered with sleeves, so no mess and good to route behind your case to hide cables. Nice fan 140mm. Rapid shipment. I was looking forward to see Corsair TX850 execute stable. Nonetheless the initial poor strike i got was when i open the package I notice the PSU had been previously open. Second strike I notice PSU under performing on 12+volt (it is actually unstable). Third strike It started to freeze and lockout, i preserve obtaining messages "low power" with my Intel Desktop Utility supplied by my DX58SO2 . I realize the chances of OBF but 3 strikes does it for me I'm out. General I'm genuinely unsatisfied by its efficiency, there is a opportunity that i got a poor PSU but always disappoint when you get one particular. It works. Fans quieter then my last psu. Good warranty. Protective cabling goes into the psu. alot of molex connectors. v2 is 80 plus bronze to bad they couldn't squeak a small bit much more performance out in the revamp. For บ a lot more (AR) I most likely really should of got the modular as its 80 plus silver and modular...

I got this power supply for 120 dollars. It was meant for a planned gtx 560ti SLI with overclock on them and an overclock on my i5-2500k CPU. It should be slightly more than enough. The even better part is once the newer nvidia cards come out next year, they will have a better power usage to performance ratio. So i can probably SLI a couple of those if I wanted to.This model is also the newer version of the original corsair tx850w. This one is version 2. I don't know what they made better, but its nice to know it will still be good for a few more years since its the newest version out right now.

Cons: main cable a little short.

Pros: Good looking, enought power's power supply
Comment:
Bourght it for my first built computer. wasn't sure how big I need, always go for big, got good choice, over my need, the 4 pin mother board power a little too short to hide for my DF-35, the cable is reachable, have to buy a extendsion for it, not only length it also convert it to 8 pin. now I can organize my cable nicely.
