It adds an added 8gb to my method. I have a total of 12gb now.I have a 2gb ramdisk for temp storage and swap. Stock DRAM voltage on my ASUS M47BT-E motherboard was 1.9v.I had to manually alter it to 1.5v. Other than that its as promote.
