Pros: Great cooling performance for the price

Have this installed on build with a X2 64 3800+, never failed me, amazing performance even when overclocking. would buy again.

Pros: Made of excellent material craftsmanship is a+

easy to clean for people that do not want to take the whole unit off to get the dust out. Temps stay very cool even on high overclocks. The led is nice and bright and has a nice blue glow to it through a clear sided case.

Cons: crappy fan controller

Pros: simplegood for HTPC since this is not tall as other cooling fans
Comment:
it works great cools great but the fan controller is bit crappy. Well cant ask too much for $30.I rather not have that fan controller installed.Overall great product.

This fan is huge! The pictures on the website definitely do not do it justice in terms of size. The fan's heatsinks are literally about 1cm away from the RAM on my mobo. All in all it works well, and is a pretty good deal for the money.

Works great! Very quiet. I had to call customer support to get help making it fit on my AMD 939 processor, but they were able to walk me through it. I highly recommend this fan.

Good product, be carefull the socket 472 is supported anymore, so it can't fit on an old P4 processor socket 472.

Solid and quiet HSF! Temps are 12 to 15 degrees from the stock AMD cooler temps and doesn't get higher than 48c under max game settings. Buy one!

A very good product with the options to adjust fan speeds, the only exception and small set back I had during installation was The clip that came with the package was not long enough to reach the base to lock the heat sink in place and so I needed to find a replacement extension clip to reach and lock in place to complete the installation. Other than that I really like this model very much!

Cheap, Quiet, Does what it's designed to do and does it well. I don't overclock so I don't know just how well it can cool a hot CPU. Not a fan of the fanmate thing so I didn't install it. Just plugged it into the mainboard like a regular fan and let the BIOs control it. Light is bright enough to just light up the other components. All in all I'd buy this again for any other AM3 build.

Installation went great for LGA775, mind you I had to pull the MoBo to screw on the bracket but really no big deal. Temps dropped on average 10*c and the fan is whisper quiet, awesome price for this quality and performance.

I have gone through many CPU fans and this one is just amazing in comparison. It does NOT have those push pins that virtually every other 775 comes with. The fan mate is a bit of an eye sore, so I just mounted it inside the case. I have ordered 3 for my builds recently and they are dead quiet, effective, and light up the cases just enough to illuminate rather than overpower.

This thing is amazing, lowered my core temp by 10 degrees! Quality wise this is top notch. Good job. Installation was tough... I have a socket am2 and this took me a while to install. In fact I had to leave out one of the screws for the mount because the cooler is just so damn big. If ur building a new computer this wouldn't be a problem though because I was installing it with the MoBo in my case.

Very easy to install, but almost impossible to remove! Other than that, it's a great product. This DOES work for socket AM3. The fan is 3 pin, but AM3 is 4 pin. However, 3 pins work just fine. The fourth pin is for motherboard controlled fan speed, but since this fan has its own external control for that, it's no problem. The connector has a little slot on it so that it will only attach to the 3 pins needed for proper use.

I'm sure this cooler would be superb with a different socket, but with a Socket 478 it works, but needed a little pushing and bending to make it work.Very quiet once paired with the included fan controller. It works, that's about it.

Cons: large, make sure ur case has room

Pros: quiet and cool
Comment:
in my case , the processor was located pretty close to the PSU, so when i installed this heat sink, i had to bend a couple of fins out of the way of the PSU, which was no big deal. it does work great on my system, Its not a powerhouse PC, so i cant comment on how well it would work if the processor was working hard on a performace machine. The fan lights up too.

Great fan and heat sink for my AM3 Phenom X4 3.40.. Stays at around 40-50c during lite work load and 50-65 under stress load. Also comes with thermal grease just to let you know.. My only complaint is I wish the fan would at least reach 3000rpm's

Great product, good value... I purchased this fan to replace the stock fan that came with my processor. It dropped the core temp of my system by 15 degrees Celsius. I leave my machine on 24-7 and the temp stays constant. Under heavy load it only fluctuates a few degrees. Very happy with the results and very easy to install. Only complain is that it comes with too many parts for the installation to fit many socket configurations, but that's not really a problem, I am just being picky!

This fan was easy to install on my Asus M4n78 Mobo. I probably had it installed in under 60 seconds and it keeps my amd phenom quad core cool. It only slightly overhangs 1 memory slot.

if you have room for this cooler it bathes the whole board in air but I had to remove cooling fins from ram to fit under fan but not a problem since it is in fan airflow
