Almost completely silent. My processor, overclocked from 2.9 to three.5 shows no boost in heat with the Zalman installed. Plus it's gorgeous, a genuine function of art. It automatically tends to make your develop lovely. It's tall, make certain your case is wide sufficient to match it. Also, it doesn't install itself. |

Parts appear sturdy, really very good mount integrated.Even though it is huge, it does not cover up any of my dimms! hooray! upgraded to this from ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7, and instantly saw a 15 C degree drop on the first startup. Quiet and performs wonderful. Involving this and my final Zalman cooler, I don't see a need to have to even attempt other brands. The look of this is beastly, It looks amazing in my case. I painted the whole case black on the inside so you don't see considerably, but the green led offers a nice glow. Running my i5 750 @ three.8GHz with this cooler. 9 hours of Prime95 all 4 cores had been usually at 50 - 53 degress. Idle temps are 25-30. Fan really quiet up to about 1500 - 1600 RPM. Also applied the incorporated ZM-STG2 Thermal grease, which is rated incredibly higher in comparison tests. This cooler is properly created and higher top quality. Don't know however, failed to set up 1366 clip support. The socket 1366 Clip help has 1 thread that would NOT accept the gold bolt/screw. It looks like the hole thread is smaller sized than the other 3 holes and brought on the gold screw harm at the tip. The other 3 holes are okay. Terrible customer support. Filed RMA on Friday at zalman.com to get replacement element, no confirmation no response till today. Got Zalman's consumer assistance quantity from Newegg Ƒ-714-530-0700) these days but Š solution is usually "All of our agents are busy supporting other consumers...". I'm amazed at how just how very good this cooler is. Upping the cpu voltage slightly, I was in a position to get my Phenom II 940 overclocked to 3800 Ghz with ease. The cpu temp runs about 36-38 idle and tops out at 46 for the much more intense games with these high settings. Reduce the cpu voltage and just overclock to 3600 and these currently good numbers take a nosedive!This fan will blow away your stock cooler in performance! Highly advised! It works... Keeps my CPU at nice temps (OCed X4 955 at 3.8GHz)... stays about 30C idle and no more than 53C loaded w/ Prime95 with ambient temps at about 20C Hmmm it's a green fan and everything else in my case is good vibrant blue or UV... then red/yellow wiring. But I will have green coolant and green tubing in there soon for my liquid setup. so it'll even out (also the fans are ALL finding replaced... all eight of them...) It's a great cooler, performs really effectively and it looks great (i've under no circumstances liked the look of pure copper... this nickle plated copper looks genuine good in there) |

(Why can't just about every manufacturer make it this straightforward!?)*Very nice dark finish, with refreshingly completely different green LED*Keeps temps of new my 1090Tx6 at around 36C idle / 43C load.*Smooth thermal speak to point*Included thermal paste is in fact fine! If you want to be truly picky, depending on installation and motherboard setup, the Cpu fan wire can be sort of a pain to route up and more than the cooler. Absolutely --Fantastic-- cooler, no regrets at all. Not affordable, but it appears Unbelievable installed and does its job well. |

Fantastic air cooling. On my i7 920 stock with out OC'ing I was sitting idle about 55C and hit over 100C on prime95 inside 2 minutes. Now I'm running mid-70s on prime95 immediately after a couple of hours OC'd to three.8 GHz from 2.6 GHz. My 1366 bracket wasn't in the box. I had to fill out a RMA form on-line and it took about a week and a half to get my replacement. This fan isn't the easiest thing to set up. It looks uncomplicated enough, but it's tough to get it to sit correct on your CPU. It probably took me a half hour to get it set proper. Fantastic cooler if you get all the elements even even though installation is a small rough. |
