Cons: There is nothing bad to say about this power supply other than the fact that it is quite expensive. Also, the SATA connectors are plasticy and look really cheaply made.

Pros: Fully Modular, 80 plus platinum, Completely silent while not gaming, Great build quality.
Comment:
This is a really good Power Supply, it is a re brand from Seasonic with the Corsair logo on it. This was my first fully modular PSU and I must say installing it was very simple. I love the fact that the PSU fan isn't even turned on while I'm idling making this a very good PSU for any noise freaks out there. The Sleaving on the cables are pretty decent except for the SATA harnesses. They have this really cheap plastic look to them, however I cable manage through the back of my case so this isn't really that big of an issue. Overall a 4.8/5 star product.

Pros: Runs cool and quietPlatinum efficiencyFully modular
Comment:
Great stealthy power supply that has a hybrid fan mode that does not kick up the fan until it reaches moderate load. The fully modular design allows you to use only the cables that you need, making wire management easier. Platinum efficiency to top it off makes this perfect for any mid-range to high-end build with 1/2 GPUs.

Cons: - Umm, is there really any cons to such a good power supply? It is the absolute BEST power supply right now. There's nothing better right now and there's no need at all for anything more than 760 Watts as I'll explain below.- Edit: Actualy one small thing. It looks like they printed the labels around the cable slot on the PSU so it looks weird if I don't set the fan facing the top of my case even though it should actualy be facing the floor. Not a big deal though for the "airflow/temperature" on such model.

Pros: - Not cheap but decent price at 160$ - 15$ MiR. Way too expensive at regular imo.- Platinum rating which is the best currently. Even if the "Titanium" rating exist, there is still no PSU with it yet and they will be way over-priced anyway for only +2% efficiency. It already took very long before Platinum get affordable which is why I had a (Seasonic X-760 Gold).- Enough wires, flat sata/molex cables, long enough too.- Very silent even when the fan spins. You can also activate the Hybrid Fan switch so it only spins at 70% power use!- 7 Years Warranty!- Almost forgot... it's built by Seasonic! Those are better and less expensive than the "AX i series" which are made by Flextronic.
Comment:
I bought it because it is exactly the same as the (Seasonic Platinum 760W) but it was 10$ less and had a 15$ mail rebate so why pay more for the same thing? It's even built by Seasonic anyway so the choice was easy enough. When I said 760W is plenty enough it's because I still have quite a good amount of room with the setup below so why pay a lot more for only 100W extra with the 860w model?* Intel i7 4770K h 4.2Ghz, 8Gb DDR3-2133, 2x Geforce GTX 670 in SLI, Soundcard, Network Card, Bluray Burner, Fan Controller, Led strip, etc. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-27-14 01:18 PM

Cons: CPU power cable could be longer, SATA cables not sleeved, fan grill makes it difficult to mount facing downwards in case.

Pros: Quiet, 80 Plus Platinum Efficiency, Modular Cables
Comment:
This thing is quiet, no noise at all. In my computer, it does not reach the load required for the fan to start up so I hear absolutely nothing from it. I was initially a bit concerned after reading all the reviews about coil whine but I have had no issues. Fan grill may make mounting the PSU downwards a bit difficult depending on your case. The inputs are all lined up on the back, making it a bit more difficult to find the right place to plug your cables than it needs to be. However, all gripes are minor. All in all, very pleased.

Cons: Nothing so far.

Pros: Nice modular design, small bag for everything to fit in is a nice touch.
Comment:
I replaced my dying OCZ StreamXGame after about five years and it works perfectly. I got it when it was on sale for $160 and it was worth every penny. It does concern me when the fan doesn't spin, but it has a hybrid mode that will kick in when things are getting too hot. The modular design is perfect and it comes with a spiffy case for everything to fit in. Corsair has outdone themselves.

Cons: Nothing except it's smaller then the on I had before and leave a hole in the back of the computer ;-)

Pros: Silent !! Litterally make no noise !Easy installation ! All cables needed.
Comment:
For the price I pay (It came in super special) that is the greatest price/quality. Even without special this is one of the best you can buy.

Comment:
I picked this up to clean up my case and help with air flow due to modular design. Great looking unit, can run Crossfire/SLI no problem. Cables are all black so no unsightly wacky colors to clash with your build. It's pretty much everything you could want in a power supply.

Love the zero-rpm fan and the modular cabling. Haven't put a kill-a-watt on it to verify the power consumption, but I have faith in the 80Plus certification.

Cons: would be nice if the hybrid fan switch was on the back of the PSU, so that it could be toggled without opening your case. better yet, corsair, put a USB header connector and fan controller in the unit, along with a strand of fan leads and control software. do something unique!neither of the 4+4 connectors will work with my motherboard's 8 pin slot. they do connect to my 8 pin extension cable that I had to use with my old PSU and case, however. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but it definitely ruins the look of the sleeved, black cables.Judging by the pin layouts, the two 4 pin connectors need to be swapped around in order to work with my motherboard, but the unsleeved portion of the cable is too short to achieve this. honestly at a loss as to what is the issue here. The fact that the 8 pin extension cable (came with my old HAF, I believe) is compatible with both the AX760's connector AND my motherboard's connector is the strangest part. hah nobody is going to read this anyway:)

Pros: quietexcellent reviewsplatinumfully modular
Comment:
Top rated Seasonic-built PSU with Platinum efficiency. Runs extremely quiet and is fully modular--no hardwired 24 pin or anything. A lot of fuss across various sites about coil whine, but my unit is virtually free of it. My ears always pick up coil whine, and aside from a very quiet buzz audible, at most, 1-2 feet from the unit OUTSIDE of a case, there is no perceptible coil whine from my AX760. Had I not had the coil whine bug planted in my head by google, I would never have even bothered to test this outside of my case. $150 for a 760W platinum, fully modular unit from Seasonic is too good to pass up because a few dozen people got a buzzing PSU that can easily be RMAd.

Cons: -coil whine

Pros: -quiet fan-fully modular-seven year warranty
Comment:
Picked this up to replace my old tx750 and tidy up my case. This is the first modular power supply I've used and I'm really impressed at how much easier it is to do cable routing. The fan is very quiet and when switched to hybrid mode it almost never runs. Only downside is I have slight coil whine coming from the psu. It happens at idle, load, even with the computer turned off. Looking at the corsair forums this seems to be a common problem with the ax (but not the ax-i) series. I cant hear it from my normal sitting position but it's still disappointing.
