Cons: None for me

Pros: LCD display for monitoringPlenty of outletsNoise filtering
Comment:
Using this to power my gaming rig and monitor. So far seems to work well. Switches cleanly to batteries when the AC is cut although I haven't tried it during brown-out conditions yet. The LCD readout is handy for checking vitals and the power draw meter is surprisingly accurate. The specifications state that there is EMI filtering in this unit. I've found the filtering to work very well. My home theater AVR used to pick up interference from my PC over the AC line which is on the same circuit breaker, with the PC plugged into this unit the noise is gone. That alone makes it a worthwhile investment for me.

Pros: - Protect my computer and others components- Emergency battery- Stylish
Comment:
I use it for my house which have sometimes issues with electricity. When people in my house use too much electronics stuff (oven, television, etc.), we can see by looking at the light bulb that it flashed. With that protection, it activate to prevent electricity issues for my computer. Very useful!

I bought this to replace a 1800watt from Canadian Tire that didn't switch over to battery power quick enough for my computer to stay running, I have tested it and so far it works great for me.

Pros: Heavy, Plenty of power
Comment:
I use this to power my 21 inch LCD montior, I7 Computer EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti Video Card, Xbox 360 and PS3. I use to buy APC, but the last model sucked. I switched to cyber power. First impressions are great. All that stuff I connect is a very low load for this UPS. So I'm very happy with it. My last APC was light, so you know it sucks. This UPS is heavy and actually pretty small. I like this UPS alot. I"ll see how it holds up to the test of time (I'll try to update  a year or two from now). First impressions are great.

expensive but so is your computer bought after a power pole literally exploded outside my house set it u, tested got 18min with nec 3090 (big power draw) and average comp build, just is a bit of coin for something that just sits there, well at least until mthe power goes out after and hour of unsaved editing...

Pros: Definitely has a pure sine-wave compared to others, and the price is great for a 900W model!
Comment:
I got this to power my enviro pellet stove. My last APC UPS would cause horrible humming from the stove electronics (motors and fans) when on battery due to its "stepped" sine wave (it was a 1500va with lcd display). I researched on the net that these stoves require a pure sine-wave. When I tested this one out by unplugging it, the stove just kept on going with no bad noises. and it'll run the stove for over an hour on battery power; enough time to either power it down or get my generator going! I also have my 37" tv and media center pc plugged in to it.

Pros: 900W back UPS for this price is definitely a very good value. The unit seems to be very durable and reliable as well. The LCD screen is nice and the settings are easy to understand and well documented. The frontal USB power ports are also very useful.
Comment:
Great back UPS unit for it's price. Currently powering a system with an overclocked 2500k, overclocked GTX 560 Hawk, and 3x 23" LED displays.

Pros: Quiet, looks good, awesome readout - tells you everything you need to know especially if you are a techie. Tested it and it works flawlessly so far.

So far I am impressed and will post again in a few months. Last week we had a power outage for a bout 2 seconds. 3 of my friends lost hardware. One was updating his PS3. it does not work now. The other was doing a windows update  and myself, I thought I had lost my big screen. I decided then that it is time to buy myself some insurance to protect my rig. $200 is not much to pay to protect $3500.

Cons: -Had a new hardware smell for a few days, not really a con but I always notice it-Heavy, make sure you realize that it weights a fair amount and thus you should make sure where you plan to place it will accommodate this device.-The surge protected only outlets are always on, which may be a down side if you just want everything to shut off, may require you to unplug the entire device

Pros: -The LCD screen really helps to determine how much power your drawing, how much battery time you have left-5 battery backed up outlets and 5 surge protected outlets-Very quiet
Comment:
Overall I gave it a 4 out of 5. I like the device very much but a few minor things made me take a star off.

Cons: -None that I encountered

Pros: -Works-No fan during normal operation
Comment:
Had this two weeks now, and it's finally been baptized with its first lightning storm/power failure. No trouble encountered, and my computer continued gaming without incident. Didn't bother looking at the software, but the unit works fine out of the box.As best I can tell, this unit runs fanless during normal operation, so this may be of interest to people looking for a silent rig. In fact, I can barely detect any heat coming from the unit at all, which backs up their "Greenpower" claim.

Cons: None for the moment.

Pros: Good Look, Good Power, Nice Display with lot of information.
Comment:
This device look good. There is plenty of power (For a unit at this price), nothing to compare to enterprise class UPS but for home usage, it is good enough. The display show lot of information so you do not have to use the software to have this information.

Pros: pure sine wavedisplay info (lcd display and via software)
Comment:
I have only had this unit hooked up to my system for a couple of days but am quite happy with it. It's primary selling feature for me was the pure sine wave power output. It has passed testing and the software properly shuts things down etc when I pull the plug and let the UPS/Battery do their thing.I am also very much enjoying its ability to display current wattage usage. I can keep track of how close my system is coming to the PSU rated maximum when running it at 100% while FoldingaHome etc.

Cons: lousy config options

Pros: Cheap when on sale
Comment:
Got this on sale pretty cheap. Doesn't give you many options to adjust battery runtime. If you want it to shutoff your pc when there's like 1 min left of battery power it can't do that.If it wasn't on sale I wouldn't have purchased it. Won't get another either when I need another ups.

Pros: Set-up is easy.Excellent price.

Arrived ok, After opening rattled inside when moved - Seems to be working normally. Will have to see after power loss if it's fine. Just ordered a mouse from here, hopefully no issues. If ok, would purchase from here again.

Pros: Adaptive Sine Wave UPS for a great price, good software, & powerful enough to run my entertainment system (pvr, ps3, av amp & plasma)
Comment:
Great quality for the price - The adaptive sine wave and lcd display was exactly what I was looking for to protect my entertainment system. Used the test function and everything went according to plan - plenty of time to shut things down - no odd sounds from my av equipment as you'd get from poorly designed simulated sine wave ups.

Cons: -Big and heavy (not that it is a big con or anything lol)

Pros: -Very good performance-Slick-Enough outlets to plug things in-Nice program that comes with it
Comment:
Having some problems with electric outlets at home, i bought this unit for my new build so that when the power would cut for 1-2 seconds, my computer wouldn't shut down. It didn't happen yet, but i'm still happy i have it in case. Also, i got this for the amazing price of 140$ on sale!!! It was a no brainer.

Cons: Haven't found any

Pros: Small SizeGood feature support

This unit has a nice look to it, on top of being quite small for its capacity. The front LCD is very easy to use, and like all Cyberpower UPSs, it comes with some pretty decent software.

Cons: Not fully Mac compatible, no track history

Pros: Sine wave at a great price, small unit, quiet
Comment:
I've got a current Mac Pro which is Energy Star 5.0 compliant so a stepped sine wave UPS is not recommended. This unit is much cheaper than a comparable one from APC. For Vancouver use it is great but if you needed faster switching and complete line conditioning then this is not the model for you. The software is not fully Mac compatible unlike the Windows version. You can't run tests under OS 10.6 or see how much time is left when the UPS switches over, it only reports the % charge on the UPS. I'm surprised how small this unit is considering it supports up to 900W. Similar true sine wave units from APC are 2-3X the size due to the better electronics. For the price and given how good the power supply is in my new building I'm happy with the Cyberpower unit.
