I place it in, turned on my netbook (HP Mini 311), and checked method details. Certain sufficient, Windows saw the RAM. No challenges. The package has slots for two sticks, with only one particular filled (obviously this product is only 1 stick). They need to use the same packaging for all their laptop RAM. Installed it on my new T400 with no difficulties. I ran memtest86+ and passed it with zero errors. I bought this when it was Ū-three dollars less costly--not sure when New Egg raised the price but it's nonetheless worth it! None. For the most element the installation was simple.
