Boosted my WEI score to 6.2 for memory. This is the most (and fastest) memory my personal computer supports. Plenty of area for virtual machines, CAD software, et cetera. Not cost-free? Installed in a Thinkpad W700 with Core 2 Duo T9400 @ two.53 GHz. |

popped the Crucial RAM into my ThinkPadweek later, program still working good, no difficulties.happy consumer packaging is a bit temperamental. use a sharp blade to meticulously reduce along the outer perimeter of the plastic shell, which will then enable you to get rid of the inner anti-static tray. flip the tray over and use each hands to grasp both sides of the attempt, then use your thumbs to 'pop-out' the modules by pushing on each and every one from behind. method: ThinkPad W500, Win7 bit) |

I looked by means of evaluations of other RAM merchandise, out of the other solutions only Essential had close to flawless ratings. I slapped 16 gigs of this stuff into my laptop no dilemma. Operates 100%, was recognized with no problems, and has helped in more than all performance of my applications. None so far, and I expect none to arise. This appears like the most compatible RAM and had a fantastic pricepoint (in my opinion) so I went with Crucial. |

Installed in Late 2008 Aluminum Macbook 13" with ease. Program booted and recognized all 8GB... Running a Win7 VM in Fusion is now considerably smoother by being able to allocate 4GB to the VM alone. Have verified in Activity Monitor that all 8GB have been allocated to either technique or application use with no troubles (there were warnings on-line that allocations more than 6GB have been unstable, not true). This kit is awesome at this value. None, apart from discovering a use for the old 4GB kit this replaced. :) Apple tells you that this version of the Macbook can only use 4GB of RAM, but searching at nVidia's specs for the chipset reveals it can help 8GB, and it does!Thanks for attempting to hold us back Apple :P |

Noticable distinction in speed. The system recognized the ram quickly. The whole method took about four minutes. None. If you are hunting to put some zip back into your Laptop, I would go with this 8Gig ram from Crucial. My applications now open with no delay. I can now run Battlefield Negative Firm on Medium High settings with the resolution set at 1600X900 and I have no program lag. I was shocked by how substantially distinction this ram created in terms of method response time. Plug and Play chips. 8GB!!! None so far These sticks are installed on a MBP 17" w/ Core 2 Duo two.8Ghz. All the memory hungry computer software appears to really like it. Final Reduce Pro has been operating really smoothly without the spinning wheel. Photoshop and Illustrator operate is as smooth as a babies bottom. The jump from 4GB to 8GB can be noticed quickly!! |

There have been no crashes because installing the kit. The cost is also particularly nice. A single of these days we'll spot laptop ram with heatspreaders. Obtain it with something else. Newegg's way of shipping ram by itself could be improved. |

Removed the old memory and installed the new stuff and worked correct devoid of any concerns Paid a little far more for memory simply because of its rating (and most likely high quality). Can't beat all five's on a item critique Memory worked on Gateway P-7801u FX laptop (probably will perform on all P-78xx series as well). Now all I will need is a SSD and quicker processor... |

This memory works great in my MacBook Pro 5,1 (Late 2008) 2.4 Ghz and Snow Leopard recognizes the full 8 Gigabytes. I played it safe and stuck with the 1066Mhz memory because I have heard there might be problems with faster memory.I don't regret it the decision. |

I wanted to upgrade my Mac Mini Server to the max 8GB of RAM when it became apparent that CIV V could get a great efficiency enhancement for a lot more RAM ƔGB to 8GB). Functions in new ཆ MBP. Greatest upgrade bang for buck. Quite effortless installation. Only space for 1 pair (not truly a fault of Crucial though). Hardest element was figuring out where my wife hid the jeweler's screwdrivers so I could take the back panel of the MBP off with out marring the surface or stripping the screws. Could quickly be installed by a novice with a little screwdriver and a steady hand. |
