Cons: the plastic is kinda cheap, but doesn't affect usagepurchase price is kinda expensive, considering some color laser are about the same price

just start up and prints, windows 7 compatible, its quick and great for students and small office. alrdy print about 500pages, barely put a dent on the starter toner, copy is a great feature, simple design, easy to use. |

Got this on sale for very cheap, and I was surprised at the quality of printouts this thing produces (text-wise anyway). For the price, I wasn't expecting too much but prints are very fast (faster than the $400+ printer at work) and sharp. Best bang for your buck in a laser printer IMO. |

Cons: Have to spend $50+ for higher model with network capabilities
Pros: Great price when on sale, $142, and free shipping with 500 ncix points. Easy to use, both parents have no issues with copying or printing. Dont bother to ask about scanning cause that wont happen. Toners for Brother laser printers are cheap Comment:
This is my third Brother laser printer and the only reason i got this to replace my other was because my crappy Lexmark multifunction inkjet died, but it was old and big and ugly and such. The 1030 i replaced this with was still going strong, but now that's been donated to a friend. It's not that loud like people say, and it's fast. Best band for your buck |

Bought this printer to have at home for odd jobs, documents, copying, etc. I use the printer only a few times a month, so this is perfect to have all the major functions and should last me a while. Got in on surprise special...very satisfied! |

Bought this printer with the intent of using it for document producing. It worked out quite well and the prints were crisp and clear. No smear or smudges as soon as it left toner. Good as expected. |

Getting this all in one printer on sale was a great buy for the price. quick warm up time and quality. so far no problems don't expect any. great for small office or home computing if your not worried about color. Downside: Forget about doing booklets with manual flip. Laser paper comes out too hot, staticy (Word?), and curled, and one jam sets all the rest of the pages out of order. Upside: this is a great printer, easy to set up, sharp imaged, that can replace most of your expensive inkjet printing. By the time you reach for the copy, it is there, and the autofeed works great. A VERY good deal all 'round! It is not finicky about paper type or thickness.
