16GB and, what I assume to be, fast information transfer prices. I use this each day and it is often with me. No challenges on any OS or any age computer system therefore far. I like the size; it feels additional substantial. Got it on Shell Shocker- Newegg rocks. When you place this in a pc and are grasping the sides, your hand can push the cover over the connector. This causes the drive to be additional away from the port than it must be. You should push it in from the back and check if it is firmly seated. Not a con, just be aware. I like Kingston solutions. I have good friends that have lost data on inexpensive flash drives, so the slightly larger price is worth it to me.

No additional losing the cap like my old PNY drive. Write speeds are commonly in between 5-eight mb/sec in Windows 7 Pro which is faster than the PNY highspeed drive I previously had. Can't beat it for the value and totally free shipping always rocks! It's not USB 3.. 16gb formatted is truly 14.4gb. Where's my 1.six Gigs? That's ten% of the drive space! I want ten% of the expense back then. I give it four stars for this explanation, though I must only take off a half star for the 10% I lost but that's not a doable rating. Why don't they just create the ACTUAL formatted size on the drive. This is NOT a 16GB drive, its a 14.4GB Drive! :-P Either way its lots of space to put all my music on for my USB automobile stereo. :-) Load time is extremely rapid for this objective, nearly no waiting before songs resume. As constantly newegg shipping is amazing, i got it from California in 2 working days. Rock on newegg!

Sleek design. Previously only owned Sandisk 'capless' design and style USB sticks. I seriously like what they've completed with the kind element of the device. It is attached to my workplace keys that I carry around with me for the duration of the day. May possibly seem a bit bulky to carry about on a keychain but in between my common usage keys and my CPR barrier pack, it's not that poor (to me).I personally like the truth that you have th put stress on the narrow edges to get it to open. Locks solid in each open and closed position. None that I can uncover as a result far. I've study men and women on right here complain about the device closing as they're inserting it into the USB slot. Well, that's to be expected with any collapsible style (especially the previous SanDisk models I've owned) if you don't grip it right. Also, if you're shocked that this issue isn't specifically 16GB of available capacity when formatted then you will need to Google "formatted capacity" and educate oneself rather than listing it as a "con" on a product evaluation. If you're nonetheless lost immediately after thumbing via articles on the topic then return it and go get a LeapFrog. My testing integrated operating Knoppix Linux off of, playing Audio and Video files (on my Computer as nicely as in my car) directly from, and transferring massive blocks of data to and from this device. Transfer rates and overall performance have been as expected.

Plugged right in.Capless design and style, feels like a lighter.A strong minute to transfer 1 gig of stuff.Fat32 formatted. none appropriate now. It ain't blazing fast but you shouldn't be in that much of a hurry.

Cons: butt ugly, bulky

Pros: holds data, no removable cap means you won't lose it
Comment:
for the price this thing does the job pretty well, looks pretty sturdy too, too bad it looks so ugly and it's not more compact but hey, you still get a lot for what you pay

Cons: Some day USB 2.0 will be out dated.

Pros: Sleek slide and hid USB protector.
Comment:
Excellent price is the best reason for this purchase. Also have a couple of older computers in the house that work great still. This is a great pocket traveller as it has a slip case to protect the USB plug. Small enough not to be notices in the pocket, so be carefull it does not end up in the wash with your clothes. It works great for loading as well as drag and drop. The computer always wants to load driver for this device. It only takes a few seconds and it's probly good if your going to encript your info.

Works out of box, got avg read speed of 20MB/sec. Good for transfering files around since most people have USB2.0 still. For $8, this is good.

I don't really expect much from a simple USB drive. This one does the job and I can't really complain about it.

Plugged it into my 360 Slim, "prepared" it and it meets the needs. I wanted a low-cost 16GB drive to backup some 360 saves to, and this fits the bill perfectly. I'm very pleased. Package was simple to get into compared to some. Capless design may let dirt/lint into the USB port if you carry it about in a pocket.

Cons: It is retractable like a pen so sometimes you have to pull/push carefully so it doesn't randomly go off

Pros: Looks very professional
Comment:
Great value for the price, although it could be a little bit smaller. Also has the habit of blocking side ports.

Cap integrated into casedecent transfer speedscost per storage capacitystraightforward to place on a key ring and durable as well My only gripe is transfer speeds. Kingston has usually been a small far more trustworthy for me. Though they do price a bit far more, you will normally end up with a solid device.

Functions good. Quicker then most other individuals. Size is just amazing. I've had to RMA it once. Initially 1 just died without having warning ruining an XP install as I was installing a SP off it. The second appears looser and easier to push open, which i don't like as its on my keychain. Otherwise, if this one lasts, I'll obtain a different when this 1 dies. Greatest style for a flash drive I've ever noticed - but has a couple of flaws. The flaws are nominal though against the questionable build quality of the Sa**isk Cruzers anymore, and are also significantly quicker then aforementioned devices.

Protective cover integrated into the drive body.Seems fast enough for a USB 2. drive.Solidly built as the case appears ridged adequate to withstand abuse. The case is a little thick but rather have it protected. This may well interfere in dense USB populated ports. Formatted as FAT-32 but most USB drives are this way. I haven't tried files greater than two GB to copy onto this drive but may present a issue due to FAT-32 format. You may want to check vendors web page for a utility to get larger than two GB files onto drive. I only wanted this drive to backup/ sneaker net my files between my work pc to house personal computer. Watch out for those auto running Trojans/ virus migrating via USB sticks. They like to move about on USB sticks as soon as you insert them with no warning. We scan often with Malware bytes.

Amazing that nobody designed a capless flash drive like this sooner. No fighting with small sliders on the side like Cruzers. If you have a tough to reach port, all of the pressure is on the back of the device to maintain the get in touch with extended out.Decent information transfer speeds for all of the file types I've attempted so far. Lack of cover will permit dirt into the get in touch with region.
